Vacation rentals with a kayak in El Dorado County

Carisa’s house is gorgeous! Beautiful place, great location and we’re surprised that the house has A LOT of things you don’t usually see in a usual AirBnb. My only minor issue is the slow wifi. My parents were with us and their past time is watching TV and it was challenging to connect to the wifi and the TV. But we enjoyed staying here. Love the backyard.

Views, views,views. William’s home was everything we expected and some. Great quiet and tranquil location. Definitely what we were looking for during Thanksgiving. This was the perfect amount of space for the amount of guests we had and not to mention the amount of bathrooms available. We were fortunate that the snow fall had stopped during our stay and all we had was fresh powder to enjoy with the kids. Williams place also has a lot of activities for the kids to keep them entertained. The living area along with the kitchen was extremely spacious making us all feel comfortable and at home. William was always available for questions and helped us with getting in. I highly recommend his location. Next time we’re in Kirkwood, we’ll definitely be staying here again.

Took my son rafting for his birthday. Perfect location. And the house accommodated the 8 of us very comfortably. The house was great and we enjoyed relaxing in the hot tube and the large back yard after a day on the water.

Jayne's place was amazing. The kitchen was very nice and modern with updated appliances. The individual rooms were comfortable as well. The location was perfect, close to Heavenly Village, the lake, and the casinos. Will definitely recommend this place to anyone.

Amanda was an absolute the greatest house. The place was nice, in a good location, with a nice big backyard. We had fun nights in the hot tub. The only complaint I had was we did not use the upstairs bedrooms because it was wildly hot up there. We all just slept on the couch and the downstairs bedroom. A nice portable AC unit will be a good idea to bring if you have one. The fans that were there did not do it justice.

We had an amazing stay at this cabin! We rented it in the winter for a ski trip to Palisades Tahoe, Kirkwood, and Heavenly. The location was perfect—centrally located to all three resorts. While Kirkwood was a bit of a drive, it was still very manageable, and it’d be hard to find a spot more conveniently situated for hitting all these mountains. The cabin itself was warm and welcoming. We loved having a fire going, and the fact that firewood was provided was a huge bonus. The hot water was consistently great, even with the three of us taking back-to-back showers after long ski days. We absolutely loved the cabin, and we’d definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!

Debbie is such a welcoming and sweet host. My boyfriend and I would absolutely stay with her again. She was so kind and accommodating with her place. We would highly recommend her to anyone thinking about staying here!

The location of the rental was very close to a Safeway and a EV charging station. All walkable from the rental.

This was a wonderful place, very nice kitchen, living room, balcony and the bedrooms. I will say the one thing that stood out from the rest of the Airbnb’s and hotels I’ve stayed at over the last ten years being out of town working, is that the bed linens smelled soooooo GOOD. Not even joking, laid in bed and couldn’t believe how clean they smelled. Might be a crazy observation but I felt like that stood out from the rest 💜💜

Trish’s place was perfect for a group looking for a place to sleep during a snowboard/ski trip at sierras-at-tahoe. Super clean and comfortable. Trish was very communicative and friendly- we hope to return to soon!

The perfect cozy mountain getaway, provided excellent value. The fully fenced backyard was good for our dog and the hot tub was perfect for relaxing after exploring the area. The kitchen was stocked with everything you need to cook and grill outside. The location is ideal for avoiding Tahoe craziness but still getting there easily. The interior is clean, updated, and comfortable, creating that perfect cabin atmosphere without feeling dated. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a comfortable home base to explore Northern California, especially if traveling with pets.
