Very relaxing getaway! The cottage was walkable to all the activities and shopping. The garden surrounding the cottage was adorable and we so enjoyed watching the birds, squirrels, and other animals while we drank our coffee. The hosts were great and we recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a quiet, walkable, and cute place to stay in Edenton.

We had a lovely stay at this property. I’ve never stayed in one connected to the residence but our hosts were so considerate I didn’t even notice. The host was so kind and gave us such clear instructions we found it easily and got in right away despite the late time we arrived. When I tell you this place is so cute it’s an understatement. Tastefully decorated and the beds and pillows were so comfy. The recliner couch was such a bonus when we were unwinding. The area is adorable and it’s far enough from the hustle and bustle of a city but it’s close enough to drive out to Elizabeth City and go to the cool breweries. Overall our stay was 10/10 perfection.

The location was perfect! We could walk to almost all of historic Edenton within minutes. After we parked the car on the 1st day we didn’t need to move it until we checked out. There was so much to do within walking distance. The host was extremely friendly and responsive. The space was private and welcoming. And the price was extremely reasonable. We would love to stay here again.

What a fantastic stay we had at the cozy farm home! Coming from NYC, the early check-in Susan allowed was incredibly helpful. It was my birthday weekend, and they thoughtfully left a bottle of wine with a personalized note, which was a delightful surprise. In the kitchen there is a book of things to do in the community. We loved the little farmers market in town. Susan was an exceptional host, always super-responsive to our messages. When we encountered a minor issue with the hot tub on our first night, she replied instantly with clear instructions, allowing us to fix it and enjoy stargazing for the rest of the weekend. The home itself was wonderfully secluded, offering the perfect escape we craved. We made sure to be there every evening to witness the outstanding sunsets. We're already planning our return to the cozy farm home if we're ever in the area again!
