It is located in the back yard of our home among gardens and a quiet neighborhood. Its only a 4+ block walk to the Barker House, Cupola House, Waterfront Park, and other points of interest. This very charming Cabin has just been restored in Fall 2019 with all new floors, walls, HVAC, Bathroom, TVs up and Down, furniture, etc. Some limited cooking features.

My family and I love this big old house. Enough space to have togetherness and yet enough space to have a room for quiet time. My adult children would like to make this our annual vacation spot, next time we're going to try booking during cooler months as well. We had a great stay in Merry Hill. Kate was very responsive and helpful. Jordan's Retreat was definitely a retreat for our family. The house was very clean and we had everything we needed, with some nice extra touches. Indoors and out, there are many places to rest and relax. The river is lovely and we enjoyed taking the kayaks out. It was so peaceful. The location is good and the drive to the Outer Banks is easy and makes a nice day trip. Nearby Edenton is a beautiful town with cute shops and nice coffee shops & restaurants.

We had a wonderful stay in this historic home. The home was spotless and welcoming. We had plenty of space and enjoyed the antique furniture and decor. The backyard was large, private and completely fenced in. The bed was extremely comfortable. We enjoyed the brightness with open shades during the day yet had plenty of privacy at night. We spent most of our time in the fully stocked game room. The kitchen had more than everything needed for our stay. The bathrooms were completely stocked. I would highly recommend this stay to my friends and family. 5 Stars!!! Such a convenient location.

We arrived at Tanya‘s place a little after 4 PM. The house was in perfect shape, and just as described. It looked like it was brand new, even though we can see from reviews, it has been stayed in a few times. It’s close to the highway, but once we were inside, we didn’t hear much noise. Tanya also did a great job by providing earplugs and even a noisemaker if we needed it. There is a TV with a Roku player that has several apps you can watch movies or TV on. There are also several games in books provided in case you are interested. Very close to downtown Edenton, (about a mile). This is the third Airbnb we have stayed in in Edenton, but the first one we would definitely want to stay in again. Tanya was communicative and quick to respond from booking to check out. Highly recommend!
