Cabin vacation rentals in Ecuador

Our cottage stay was amazing! We really enjoyed preparing our meals in the kitchen, which had everything needed. The jacuzzi was a real luxury, perfect for relaxing at the end of the day. And the view… just spectacular. Definitely an experience to repeat. Thank you for everything!

Great place with lots of space and plenty of sleeping arrangements for our family. Good location close to all of the Banos activities and we all enjoyed using the small private pool and cold plunge after being out for the day. Well stocked kitchen had everything we needed and also several restaurants within walking distance. Host was very responsive and place was clean. The only item I’d mention is it can be noisy at night with neighbourhood dogs barking and motorbikes going by…but otherwise house was great.

Great stay! Everything was outstanding , charming wood house. I visit duty my husband from the US. We came along with my family from Ecuador. We had enough space for all of us, 5 adults and 2 kids. We tried the made to order dinner. Sancochó and Tilapia. Abigail and her friend, came with the groceries , they cooked a delicious food for us, and clean after. It was indeed a great experience! We’ll be back!

Our stay in the a-frame house on the Hacienda del Rejo was magical. Waking up every morning to the view of the valley and hearing the animals and the birds was so relaxing. It's a great setup because while the house has a full kitchen, the Hacienda restaurant is a quick 3-minute walk down the path, and the food is excellent. The lodge where the restaurant is housed also has a ping pong table and a pool table which my sons loved to play on while we waited for dinner. There is also a cozy fireplace and lots of history in the lodge! We loved riding horses on the property. Rides were reasonably priced, and seeing the property this way is amazing! We also loved spending time with the animals on the farm. Goats, llamas, horses, donkeys, and chickens! The house was well-provisioned and very cozy. On chilly evenings, we kept warm by the woodstove and the great hot tub! Everyone at the property took great care of us, they were all kind and welcoming! Our family loved our time here!

Morita Bunk House is the perfect place if you are looking for relax in a luxury cabin surrounded by pure nature. This place is a must to visit!

I have stayed in several cabanas, glampings , hotels, inns in several countries and in Ecuador..and this is among the top3 of my experiences. It's beautiful, perfect in the sense that it has everything you need for that balance between minimalist and good taste . Tatiana, who received us, was very warm, diligent, and in an afternoon my son was happy mildeñan do las Vacas and the animals. I want to come back soon

The place is beautiful and very well equipped. Although there is no electricity, this is perfectly offset by the lovely fireplace (very easy to turn on), candles and sunlight. The beds are incredibly warm, and the thermal blankets are very well thought out to ensure a comfortable stay. The animals on the property are adorable and give a special touch to the experience. The area is simply spectacular, with breathtaking views that invite rest and contemplation.

It's a wonderful place if you want to disconnect from the routine and have an experience with nature. But it's also designed for teleworking (excellent internet connection). The host was very kind. I will definitely be back.

We had a fantastic time at Cabin Nr.3. We thoroughly enjoyed the Cabin and its beautiful surroundings. The Cabin is extremely well equipped. We didn’t have sufficient hot water for showering all throughout but that’s a minor issue considering the very relaxing nature of our stay. We hope we’ll be back soon!

Flor Marina's place was the perfect little retreat that I needed! You can walk up/down the hill from the airbnb to catch a bus to Otavalo every 10 minutes, and I loved the little work out that I got going to and from that stop. Also its possible to get taxi pickups right from the Airbnb. She grounds themselves are magical with the sweetest animals around. The tub was an amazing thing to have and it exceeded expectations. Overall it was exactly what I was looking for upon returning to Ecuador after not being there for a while.

THIS PLACE IS AMAZING. It’s even cuter in real life than in the pictures. My husband & I booked for a week and ended up extending extra days. It is beyond peaceful & cozy. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need to make full meals. Bed is super cozy. There are outdoor and indoor fireplaces with lots of provided wood. It’s just a $3 cab ride away from tons of great restaurants & activities, but you feel like you’re completely in the middle of nowhere. So much privacy! We loved waking up to the sound of the rushing river with birds chirping, surrounded by beautiful flowers, fruit trees & steep cliffs. I saw more butterflies here than anywhere ever. Literal heaven! My husband & I both work remotely & this place worked perfectly for us. We had one morning with an internet issue but the host sent out repair men immediately & it was fixed within the hour. Carmen was perfectly attentive & so kind. I couldn’t recommend this place more!

They have a beautiful accommodation, you can rest very well, the area is beautiful to go for a walk and clear your mind, you can hire the service of a guide to go out and see the waterfalls, if you think you are going to need it or if you prefer, you can go out alone. You have the option to cook your food in the cabin or you can hire the food service. I hired this service because I wanted to try the local food and everything was super delicious. Lizbeth and her mom were always attentive to everything I asked or needed, they are very friendly. I recommend trying the roasted trout they prepare on site, and the blackberries they have here are delicious. Also, go out and explore the place, they have beautiful views.

It was a weekend of connection and relaxation in a super nice and well-kept space. It's a cozy house, Daniel was attentive to everything and the people who welcomed us and were at home were the same. I recommend it 100%. We'll be back for sure.

Very quiet and pretty place. With the possibility of seeing the mountains. The courtyard was pretty with docile llamas roaming free. The host responds very quickly, is helpful and offers us activities.

We had an amazing experience at this Airbnb. The hosts were very friendly and helpful at all times, they really made our stay special. The place is beautiful, surrounded by nature and with unparalleled tranquility. We were also lucky enough to see monkeys nearby, which made the experience even more magical. Definitely a place we want to go back to!

Fernando's place was beautiful and such a cozy place to stay. It was close to Quilotoa Lake and Cotopaxi, which we visited when staying with him. The area was very tranquil and calming, just what we needed after driving around and visiting multiple sites. He went above and beyond to make sure we were enjoying our stay and was extremely accommodating. The nearby restaurant that he recommended was delicious. Additionally, Fernando himself is an incredible and friendly host. He invited us to his lovely bar for drinks and we had a 2 hour long conversation with him despite our broken Spanish, which ended up becoming one of my favorite parts of our entire trip to Ecuador! I highly recommend staying with him when visiting this lovely country if the opportunity arises.

We loved Mindo and the privacy and quiet natural surroundings of the cabin! It was so beautiful and clean and had everything we needed. It got quite hot upstairs in the bedroom during the day with the sun out so we opened the windows and some mosquitos came in but we had no problems with them at night and there’s palo santo incense against them.

Rowins has created a beautiful place to relax and enjoy the nature! He has obviously put in a lot of work to create something special. The solar panels were effective for us- we were able to run the wifi all day long, even on cloudy days. My partner took an hour long video conference with no problem whatsoever. The batteries were able to charge fairly quickly and we were able to use some power into the night to charge phones/etc. Rowins was there at the bus stop ready to pick us up and drive us straight to the casita and show us around. He was kind and excited to show us everything on the property, a great host all around. For those with sound sensitivities- I will note that there was nearby music playing late into the night on Saturday. This is obviously out of the control of Rowins but of note if you are sensitive to things like that! Also- it is an easy walk to Copalinga Lodge from the casita with amazing birding all around!

If you're looking for peace, this is the place to be. We loved it
