An amazing place with an excellent location, it had many surprises for me, the truth is that the photos don't do justice to what the place is like. A huge rooftop with a beautiful ocean view, you can see the ocean even from the jacuzzi. Very good induction kitchen, it has pans and pots for cooking. The spacious room with a large and comfortable bathroom, has a washing machine. You can walk to the beach, it's just 5 minutes away. A safe place, the car park is indoor with a roof and security. The host Mario is always attentive, friendly and ready to help however he can. I will recommend it to friends and family.

Had a wonderful experiencing staying here for a week! The space was perfectly laid out and very comfortable. Kitchen fully stocked with all you'd need to cook meals and make coffee. I absolutely loved the sunrises and sunsets from the beautifully tended garden. The on site hosts were incredibly kind, loving and generous, and helped me with showing me how to light a fire in these kinds of units for the first time and taking me to the airport for an early morning flight. The neighbourhood isn't recommended to walk after dark, but I never felt worried or afraid being in this space. Total bliss and relaxation. Thank you!

I gave all five stars because of the host, Tania. A critical guest might have dinged a star, here and there; but to me, it is the experience that matters. I got to experience Ecuadorian hospitality and friendliness. That is why I have retired to Ecuador, permanently. I have moved to another place but Tania is going to come by and pick me up tomorrow to help me get a bus pass, since she speaks Spanish and knows the system and I don't. That makes me feel happy and welcome in Ecuador. Despite us only being able to communicate with translation apps.

My stay at Andrea's place was a dream come true. Andrea's apartment was charming with Ecuadorian tiles from floor to ceiling, on some walls. She tastefully decorated her apartment with lovely furnishings and plants. She provides every amenity, giving you convenience, for all your needs. Her apartment is in the historic Center- so you are surrounded by colonial architecture, including churches and buildings that were once private homes. There is great Ecuadorian food around the corner plus quaint cafes to get the best Ecuadorian coffee. As a treat, Andrea's helper , Germainia- offers to wash clothing and apartment cleaning. She is very sweet and lovely. For those who love history and a classy place to stay, you can not go wrong- with Andrea's place. It's an affordable price and worth it!

My husband and I spent 2 weeks in Miryan's cabin. We loved it, so close to the center of the city yet one feels like one is in the country. Miryan was an amazing host. She brought us something almost every morning: eggs from her chickens, fruit or avocado from her trees, home made breads and freshly squeezed juices. My husband and I enjoyed walking through the neighborhood, meeting new people and buying produce and the many family owned stands. The house is rustic, this is not the Ritz but if you want to truly experience Ecuadorian culture, this is the place. Miryan has three dogs that came by often to say hello. If you are afraid of dogs or just don't care for them, this is not a place for you. For us, it was a perfect 2 weeks.

This place is tucked away but worth the drive. We loved the pool, the hammocks and the remote location. The staff made us feel welcome with a good dinner and bar service. The atmosphere is lovely with lights and the surrounding vegetation. It was my second time staying here and I would certainly stay again!

Maggie and her family are genuinely friendly people. She is very helpful and can provide tips on what to do and where to go. She gave me great recommendations on food, tourist information and laundry service. Also, the location is excellent. A few minutes walk will get you to some very nice places to eat, and to a large grocery store. Also nearby is Plaza Grande, where you can relax and enjoy the culture, or get trip ideas from the nearby tourist center. The wifi is excellent, and the bed is very comfortable. My only issue with the place is the bathroom. It is very cramped, not easy to move around in. Something to note if you are a larger person. Also, the shower has very low water volume. If you turn on more water, it gets colder, because it is one of those electric showers. And be careful. I got shocked. Maggie told me that she is planning upgrades to the bathroom, so hopefully soon. Otherwise, I wholeheartedly recommend her place.

the property is very close to the airport, and you can easily come and go from the airport shuttle bus in front of the house. The apartment is clean, parking is very easy and safe. Internet is good. Neighbors are very nice. Most importantly this is a very friendly family, you can feel at home, anything you can contact Johanna's brother Andrew is a good man, he always responds quickly.

One of the better abnbs we have stayed at. Great for staying longer periods like we did. Has water filter which is a great help! And all cooking utensils and stuff you need for a comfortable stay.
