The farm also has several areas where you can walk, read, paint, write - even talk to the animals. Just a short drive or a cycle ride from the gite you will find charming villages, historic landmarks, rivers, vineyards, medieval towns and a wide range of activities! Do as much or as little as you want.

The Great Pigeonry

Chateau Grimard was built at the end of the 13th century and is immediately next to the river Lot. It is set amongst vineyards and sun flower fields, with 8 hectares of land all of which can be used by guests. The Chateau has 3 gites, all of which have sufficient privacy. Guests can swim in the river, kayak, and there is also a large shared salt water swimming pool . The historic town of Puy L’Eveque is five minutes drive away. Bookings are accepted from a Saturday to a Saturday only.

A real slice of heaven Protected by the calm of the forest in the heart of the golden triangle, this authentic Périgourdine is located in a magical hamlet 15 minutes from Sarlat. Rare and atypical, this house is my treasure! ⚠️2 adorable cats are to be fed during your stay. Very grateful to the hosts, they sometimes bring back "gifts" (birds, voles) that are not always appreciated by humans!!! Please remember to bring your sheets, comforter cover and pillowcases.

"La petite Roche" country cottage

Small 20 m2 house, in the countryside. Carefully restored, it includes a living room equipped with a double sofa bed, a kitchenette and a warm chalet-style bathroom. It has a wood-burning stove. Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Located on the Lot river. You will stay in an old watermill within walking distance of a picturesque medieval town. Relax in a deck chair on a private beach by the river. There is a 1 or 2 person modern unsinkable sit on top kayak with which you can paddle down the beautiful river.

The cabin house

On the forest side and in the heart of a set of two traditional Périgord houses, the calm is total and the place lends itself to positive introspection, alone or as a couple. Just one essential in winter: throw a few logs in the stove, and turn on the fan in summer if you like it. 2 bedrooms are available in the accommodation.
