Note: If a big winter you will need a 4x4 or all wheel drive vehicle to access the neighborhood.

Also included in your stay are use of the heated indoor swimming pool (Pool is Open May 1st – Nov 30th, Dec 20th – Jan 6th Daily Hours: 10am – 8pm) & playground located 4 miles south of the cabin at Pine River Lodge.

It's an older house with quirks! Decor is minimal southwest art deco/ neuveau forest fusion! Coniferous and bright!

Only 5 minutes to charming downtown Mancos, where the West still lives and artisans thrive. Less than 10 minutes to Mancos State Park and San Juan National Forest. Our beautiful mountain home is nestled between Durango and Pagosa Springs Colorado. Whether you are looking for a quite, private and secluded vacation spot or a home between two local ski resorts (Purgatory and Wolf Creek) this home offers the best of both worlds. This is also a great hunting spot, less than a quarter mile walk to public hunting property held by BLM. You can walk right out the door and hike, snow shoe, or sled down the driveway. We are not present when the home is occupied.

The property is well kept with beautiful views off the bluff at the back of the property. It is an attractive and relaxing setting with convenient access to the many attractions of the Durango area. Distances to popular places: 5 minute drive to the edge of Durango. 16 minute drive to the Durango & Silverton Railroad. 18 minute drive to Durango regional airport.
