A perfect place to be quiet in a natural setting. The cabin has a very California wabi sabi vibe. All details in design and furnishings are high taste and high quality. The neighborhood has a natural feel, oaks all round. Birds flourish. I checked out the dawn chorus every morning to hear the first birds. It might be the Bewick’s wren, oak titmouse, spotted towhee, lesser goldfinch, mockingbird. In my two weeks I saw or heard a total of 74 bird species at the cabin or within short drives. I recommend this spot highly, and Charlie and his wife were perfect hosts.

I stayed at John’s place for 6 weeks, one of the best airbnb I stayed in and definitely the best host I’ve ever dealt with. The place is exactly as described if not better, very comfortable, fully equipped and beautifully decorated. I felt home immediately upon entering the house. What a beautiful energy! John’s communication is unequalled, very professional and friendly, he answers any question in a timely manner. Definitely a super cool host! My experience was so great that I already booked my stay for next summer. Can’t wait to stay at Casa Zolandre again. Thank you John!

Julie is an exceptional host “very mindful and attentive to your needs and concerns.” Having two beautiful fountains on the patio “to absorb mild sounds of cars going by.” My reservations for two months. Julie allowed me to arrange things “that makes it feel like home.” The location is central to all your needs. View the ocean in front and the mountains in the back. Grass at the entrance “which I miss at my home in Santa Barbara.” A charming and intimate space to relax on the patio “with an ocean breeze and beautiful potted plants. Would definitely return. 🥰

Such a cute studio. Felt like a home not a short stay. Great kitchen accommodation, comfortable bed, and just enough space to move about and be comfortable.
