Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Dortmund

We were 6 girls and had a great and relaxed weekend at Eeva's! The place looked just like the photos and left nothing to be desired. The communication with Eeva went smoothly and nicely. The old town is only about 18 minutes' walk from the property. Definitely worth a visit! All in all, I'm just recommending it!

We had an amazing experience staying at this beautiful and comfortable home. The neighborhood was peaceful and perfect for a relaxing getaway. The house had everything we needed for a fabulous vacation—from a fully equipped kitchen perfect for preparing any meal, to spacious rooms that made us feel right at home. In the evenings, we enjoyed unwinding with movies on the large TV. The location is fantastic, serving as a great base for exploring iconic cities like Cologne, Bonn, Düsseldorf, and Koblenz. Excellent restaurants are just around the corner, and for quick grocery runs, Aldi is only about a five-minute drive away. This property truly stands out as one of the most stunning places we’ve ever stayed. Michael was exceptionally responsive and kind, always keeping communication clear and helpful. I highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a memorable and comfortable stay.

We had a great stay, we liked the entire furnishings very much, a lot of attention to detail, really cozy furnishings all around, so that you feel right at home. The loft was easy to find and communication with Pasquale was impeccable, questions were answered super quickly. We will certainly come here again.

We had a very pleasant stay. Cedric and his family are very kind and welcoming. We enjoyed spending a weekend on their farm. The alpacas are a great addition, very nice to meet them.

Everything was perfect, the hostess was very responsive and created very comfortable conditions with a gorgeous view of the lake, we felt at home, the reality exceeded expectations and special thanks for the compliment in the form of flowers, fruits and sweets. I recommend it 100%!

Barbara's apartment is very well maintained and superbly equipped. From the kitchen you have access to a small, enchanted and quiet downtown garden, which we enjoyed. Barbara always responded immediately to requests and was extremely friendly and helpful. A great place, we'd love to come back.

Unfortunately, I only needed the lovingly restored and furnished apartment for one night. I will gladly recommend it and book it again if I need it. Thank you Dorothea also for the loving contact.

very spacious l, clean, quiet. perfect location only 2 subway stops from the train station and minutes from the old city center with shops, outdoor restaurants, and theatre Dortmund. I stayed here twice and would do so again.

I stayed 2 nights in Jacqueline's place and it was perfect for my needs. It's in a good location for underground and overground train stations and you can walk easily from Dortmind Hbf or into the centre of town. The kitchen is very well equipped for cooking - there is everything you could want. The flat is just around the corner from a very nice little park and it is an easy walk to local supermarkets. Jacqueline arranged an early check-in for me, thank you!

from check-in to checkout, everything went smoothly. since the apartment is facing away from the street, it was quiet in the apartment.

A very friendly and nice host always responds on calm and helpful way, clean and cute place and comfortable to go to main cities like Düsseldorf since they are many buses and trains in walkable distance. Everything was a 10/10 and will surely come.

This place is as described in the pictures. It is very comfortably furnished and very cozy. The surroundings are quiet and you can relax a lot. I highly recommend this accommodation.

Lovely place in a quiet residential area. The hosts are very nice. The apartment is nicely and tastefully furnished and very clean. Everything you need. Relatively large rooms and a separate kitchen.

Angelika and Volker are perfect hosts! We used the apartment as a base for different excursions and a concert visit. It is ideally located in downtown East and a lot within walking distance. There is a good baker and Edeka close by. We'd love to come back!!!

Kathis and Marcel's apartment is centrally located in Essen; it is not far from the main train station, and the Rüttenscheider Stern, a popular neighborhood, and the Folkwang Museum are very close. The apartment is very cozy and pleasantly equipped, and Kathi and Marcel are very friendly hosts. I was there for the second time and felt very comfortable!

Beautiful location at the top of a hill, surrounded by nature between Vorhalle, Herdecke and Wetter. You can walk a trail through the woods, down a hill into Herdecke in about 15 minutes. Very comfortable, clean and cozy unit. We were able to keep our bicycles on site and enjoy the unit car-free. I also appreciate that the unit is smoke-free. Stefan and his family are very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay!

I had a very pleasant stay at Thomas' accommodation again and recommend it without reservation. Thomas is an excellent host.
