Vacation rentals with lake access in Dordogne

After consultation with all the members of the family, we will definitely come back on sunny days to continue our walks around! It was a peaceful pleasant stay and it allowed us to meet all together! Thank you very much

The setting is beautiful, the accommodation is fine, especially the kittens that were the best, thank you very 🤩 much.

We were very well hosted by our hosts. They are nice, friendly, smiling ... They greeted us with a very nice little fireplace.... The house is as described even better ... It is warm, tastefully decorated and has everything you need for a stay at home. Ideally located for visiting castles, sites, caves ... As you can see, I highly recommend this property.

We had an excellent short stay at Mary's place. It is surrounded by beautiful countryside in a very quiet part of France where the Limousin region meets that of the Dordogne. Highlights were the wonderful bakery in nearby Piegut-Pluviers, and visits to Brantome (a magnificent setting on the river) and St-Jean-de-Cole a beautifully preserved village. Mary was helpful and friendly and there is a long list of restaurants and outings at the property.

The hosts own home had all the facilities we needed for 2 couples sharing the house. In a quiet location and close to a lake and restaurant. Only a 5 minute drive into Bergerac therefore the best of everything..

Clean, easy to access and well-equipped accommodation. Clear instructions before and in the accommodation. Average sound insulation, on the other hand. Convenient for a stopover.

In a peaceful and beautiful setting, a accommodation as described, with the charm of the old. A swimming pool and its pretty environment very pleasant in summer temperatures. Hosts who are welcoming and committed to preserving heritage. A place that invites healing! It is better to spot before arrival the plans for walks and visits because the mobile network and wifi connection are very limited (ideal for disconnecting).

The house is very nice and spacious, the location is also very convenient with a local supermarket within walking distance. Beautiful scenery around. The host was always reachable online to answer our questions. We had a very pleasant stay there and would recommend this place for families.

We have just spent a very relaxing 2 weeks at Naomi's lovely gite. The property itself was very clean and comfortable and had everything that we needed; we especially liked the covered terrace off the kitchen and the pool area. The gite is in a very peaceful, secluded location but within easy reach of plenty of picturesque bastide towns. The closest, Villeréal, is only a 10 minute drive away and has plenty of cafes, restaurants and food shops as well as weekly markets and evening food markets - it was really lovely. Naomi and her family are fantastic hosts - very welcoming, helpful and friendly. A great holIday let!

A lovely gite in a wonderful rural location but with good road access for exploring the area. A really well equipped kitchen and as we like to cook when on holiday this was especially appreciated. Nice downstairs space in particular with simply the best woodburner we have seen. Very responsive and friendly relaxed hosts. Recommended all round.

Corinne and Laurent welcomed us into their world created so that their guests have activities and essentials at their disposal. The pool is very nice. A real pool for swimming, swimming, and fun. My family and I had a wonderful stay at Le Shedeaux. It is a beautiful property with picturesque landscape views and it is also close to scenic towns nearby. Paul is a friendly host who was accommodating, helpful and easy to contact. He set up the fireplace for our arrival which made the cottage very cosy. We look forward to returning!
