Nice place to relax. Everything was very good, we did not have any problems. The only thing we didn’t know was to enter in the house we need to go through the side door because the front door belong to another house. But everything else was good, no complaints. We go at least once a year to that town (Eymet) and for sure we will stay there again.

We had a great time with the family. The place was really spotless and perfect from every point of view despite the rain of the weekend. Our hosts were lovely and met all our needs, they even recommended a restaurant to us. We can only thank you for your hospitality and kindness. Thank you for everything!

The accommodation offered by Lucie is true to the description and photos: spacious, very well equipped, clean. This accommodation is in the middle of nature, quiet but above all in the heart of a very rich historical heritage (many visits within a perimeter of less than 30-40 min by car) Lucie is available, responsive and very pleasant. I recommend both the accommodation and its geographical location.

The best place I've rented! Jean-Paul is a discreet but very welcoming host. The house is a haven of peace and calm in the middle of the countryside, the view is magnificent. Our 1 year old daughter feasted with ducks, chickens, and sheep. There is a sauna in the accommodation, the pool is available and heated. Hosts provide us with vegetables from their garden. The house is very well-equipped, functional, convenient. Everything is done to make you feel at home. We had a wonderful stay, we will come back and recommend this place without hesitation!

Everything was good! The cottage and its surroundings are absolutely charming and super quiet. Beautiful walks right outside the door. Easily accessible tourist attractions... Ideal for lovers of nature and beautiful stones...

The village of Gensac is tucked away in the lovely Saint-Émilion countryside. The one-time convent feels like a special place, a quiet and peaceful retreat to return to after our days visiting Bordeaux, Saint-Émilion, Bergerac, and environs. The suite is spacious, very clean, has useful amenities, and we settled in easily. A vase of fresh flowers on the dining table and a bottle of local wine were nice touches that we especially appreciated. John was a helpful, informative, and friendly host. We enjoyed meeting him and will remember our stay there fondly. Thank you, John.

My sisters had a great time at this warm and exotic accommodation. The place was very clean, consistent with the photos: a real little piece of paradise, I highly recommend staying there, a peaceful time in the countryside with a welcoming and flexible host, you will find your happiness 😇

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Le Petit Cinq Ruffe. Caroline and Paul were excellent hosts and made us feel very welcome. Nothing was too much trouble. The property was lovely and met all our needs. The location was very rural and quiet; exactly what we had hoped for. The welcome included a lovely platter of local produce and delicious wine. We thoroughly enjoyed it! We would not hesitate to highly recommend this property.

What the listing does not emphasise enough is the high quality of the way this 300 year old property has been renovated. Plus, the decor and fittings are high quality: it really is like living in a real home, not simply a place that has been kitted out on a budget just for AirBnB. And... always a good sign.... the kitchen knives are sharp, there is an apron for the cook, and spices and herbs are provided. For those of you from the UK, think of the best of 'Rural Retreats' (a very high quality set of holiday rental properties.) The property is in a tiny hamlet of 3 houses. It really is a quiet and beautiful setting. Virginia is generous with access to the garden (which is shared with her home). She is the perfect combination of being friendly but not intrusive.

Very nice holiday spent in Jeanie's cottage. Ideally located to shine in the Beynac, Sarlat and Eyzies region. We were able to multiply the tours and enjoy relaxing at the end of the day in the pool. Very clean and quiet accommodation. We loved it. Jeanie responded quickly to all our questions / requests. thank you for everything!

We stayed 3 wonderful months in Veronique’s house. We had our two small dogs with us and the yard was securely fenced and safe for them. The house is in a vineyard and Guilherme (Veronique’s son) frequently came to tend his vines. Guilherme is a charming young man and we looked forward to seeing him and chatting with him. Guilherme respected our privacy but we always went out to chat with him if we saw him. He also was quick to respond to any questions we had and he is a good source of information about the area. The house is stylishly decorated and has nice new furniture and beds all of which are comfortable. The kitchen is fully equipped. We have stayed in many rental houses for the past 8 months as we first drove across the US and then moved to France. Veronique’s house was by far the best house that we rented. So many houses had broken down uncomfortable furniture. We will cherish the good memories we have of staying in Veronique’s house! Thank you, Veronique!

Patricia is a very welcoming host who passionately introduced us to her garden and animals. She shares her know-how through very informative workshops (plants, donkeys, etc.) The tiny house is very nice when you want to recharge your batteries as a family in an eco-lodge close to nature. The pool available is a real plus to cool off and have fun with the kids. The summer kitchen also allows you to cook outside the accommodation and thus expand the living space. We highly recommend this listing!!

We had a nice short stay at Frances. Everything was as described, clean and tidy. It's a really cosy place.

Dear Laurence, Thank you so much for letting us enjoy your beautiful home and garden. For us, it was wonderfully grounding days in the midst of fantastic nature... Yoga and meditation on the wooden terrace overlooking the sun, the cows and the fields, splashing in the pool, cycling to Lac Plaisance and morning swimming, the diving tower and the slide for the boys, barbecuing in the garden, small charming villages, more relaxation is not possible in such a short time. In the evening, the sunset in the garden, cuddling on the sofa with a view or in front of the cozy fire in the fireplace.... Thank you for your hospitality, your very individual advice and your peace. We were really homesick for a day after departure and will definitely be back! Kind regards, Petra & family

You don't get tired of the view! Very pleasant stay at Marion and Pascal's for our stay in the Périgord. They are charming hosts and committed to ensuring that we have a good stay at their home. Feel free to follow their great tips for discovering the surroundings. The house is super well equipped, you have everything you need, there are also games for children (outside and inside) The house is ideally located to visit the surrounding area (Dordogne, castles, gardens, caves, chasms, farms, etc.). No time to get bored. Finally, the view from the terrace is superb, good aperitif & dinner evenings begin!

We had a pleasant and relaxing stay, quiet in this peaceful retreat. The environment is beautiful. The accommodation is spacious, spotless and with all the amenities needed. The pool is a plus in the summer. Annabelle and her husband are welcoming, helpful and available while remaining discreet. We'll be back, for sure!

We had a lovely time at Michelle's place. The house is very well equipped (bed, chair and baby bathtub included), with two bathrooms which is very convenient. We had the sheets and towels ready when we arrived with the welcome basket prepared by Michelle which was very nice. The large garden with the hammock and pool allowed us to make a real break from the city. The place is very quiet and green, a real paradise for those who love nature.

Perfect for what we wanted. A peaceful, clean, well furnished base, not too far from local amenities. Highly recommend, we will stay again.

We have just had the most amazing stay here! The house and grounds are stunning with amazing views. The house is very close to Bergerac but is very private in the countryside with vast grounds. We had such a peaceful and relaxing break. Jil was a wonderful host, so responsive and helpful. She sent great instructions for our arrival, lots of recommendations and also came over on the evening of our arrival to make sure we were comfortable and to explain things around the house, which was appreciated. Would love to stay again and will be recommending to friends and family!

We were two couples to share this lovely country home. Despite the rain and cool temperature, we were able to relax in a comfortable and well heated interior by the wood stove. In addition to enjoying a breathtaking view of the village, the show of animals wandering freely in their respective spaces was most enchanting. Sofie and Irm are welcoming hosts who care about our comfort. A special thank you for offering us the eggs of their chickens!
