Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Door County

It was such a beautiful location with plenty of wildlife to see walking through the back yard. It was the perfect location to catch the early Ferry to Washington Island.

Dan & Beth said they wanted us to feel at home and we certainly did! We had 7 adults in our group & we talked about the house & cost to stay there. We all agreed it was absolutely worth every cent. Dan couldn’t have been more helpful whenever we reached out with a question. Being right on the beach was magical. Fires at night with a plentiful supply of dry wood was a nice surprise! Anything you could possibly think of was at our disposal! Even the refrigerator was pristine, which in my experience, doesn’t always happen in a rental. We will miss Sandvik house!

This is our second time staying at this property, we returned because we loved it so much. Amazing views from the house, very peaceful, and close to attractions in Sturgeon Bay and the rest of Door County. Bonus, there was a cute little groundhog that was sunning himself in the mornings out front of the house.

We had a great sister-cousin weekend in Door County. We enjoyed having a place to catch up on each other’s lives. The location was close to restaurants and shops. It was a plus to have 2 full bathrooms for the 6 of us to get ready. Overall, a great place to stay for a group.

We had a fantastic stay! The house was spotless, well-stocked, and incredibly comfortable. After staying in several Airbnbs, it was refreshing to find a host who truly thought of all the little details that make a stay feel special. From the starter supplies to thoughtful touches throughout the home, we felt well taken care of from the moment we arrived. All we had to bring was our food, beverages and personal items. The hosts were proactive, responsive, and easy to communicate with. We would absolutely stay here again!

Me and my 4 friends had a lovely stay at Kevin’s property! The house is just as described and in a nice, somewhat secluded neighborhood that’s a short walk to the lake. Kevin was very communicative throughout the entire process. I would definitely stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay, the only thing wrong was we couldn’t stay longer! Amazing view, beautiful property and we couldn’t have picked a better time to visit. Thank you for sharing this spectacular home!!

First of all-- one of the cleanest air bnbs I've stayed in. Definitely the most organized with the most clear instructions. That was very helpful! Everything was stocked to the max. There was a variety of toys for kids of all ages. The kitchen had everything you could need. The home is very close to a beautiful state park and right around the corner from Sturgeon Bay! Glen and Kathy responded quickly and went above and beyond with offering us what we needed and more (a fishing rod so my kids could attempt fishing, recommendations for local hiking, flexible check out).

Wendi and Ron were great hosts! Their place is exactly as pictured and had every amenity to my my stay comfortable. It’s a great location on the west side of Sturgeon Bay, and everything was very clean and quiet. Great internet too!

The stay overall was good and the space itself was clean and comfortable. Brad was helpful and responsive throughout. One thing I didn’t know before booking this unit is part of an existing house and there are three interior doors connecting to other parts of the home, including one that leads to someone’s porch. While all the doors were locked, they aren’t fully walled off, which raised some privacy concerns for me. The first night, I felt a bit scared and uneasy with thoughts like “what if someone walks in?” Since I wasn’t aware of this setup beforehand, I couldn’t cancel the stay. But over time, I got used to it and reminded myself everything was secure. If you’re okay with this kind of shared structure and locked but not sealed-off doors, it’s still a nice place to stay. We really enjoyed our stay at Mike’s apartment! It was a great location and walking distance to the local shops, restaurants and park! The apartment was just as shown in the photos and very modern and up to date! We will be coming back and hope to stay there again.

This place was amazing! It was clean and had beautiful updates. It appeared brand new! It was spacious and perfect for our girls weekend. 3 Comfy beds and two large bathrooms suited the needs of our group of 5 and All the amenities you need for a weekend getaway!

We really enjoyed Jon’s place. It’s located in a quiet area yet within an easy drive to all the attractions of Door County. The place is very spacious and could easily accommodate 6 people, but had plenty of room for the 4 of us. The beds were very comfortable, there were plenty of towels and other amenities. We appreciated the provided coffee and the coffeemaker, as well as all included kitchen accessories. The grill on the balcony was a great addition as well and we enjoyed cooking dinner on the night of our arrival. Thank you again for a great place to stay!

We just had the best time staying at Heavenly Stay. It was incredibly clean. So many rooms and each of the 3 couples had their own bathroom. Staying in an old church was so charming and it was decorated to perfection. We interacted with the owners on a few occasions and their assistance and suggestions helped make our stay in Sturgeon Bay filled with so many great memories. We will definitely be booking another stay here and bringing more of our family to enjoy. Thanks Al & Shannon

This was a surprise Birthday outing with my wife Shavonda and she truly love the space and we had a wonderful time. Thank you for being such a great host and having such a welcoming space.
