When I made the booking I thought it sounded too good to be true. Well it's everything that was in the description and even more. Location wise, it's in Old Town, walkable and with everything near by, from restaurants and shops to museum and markets. Yes you see the beach from the balcony. And while the zone is lively, this side is quiet, and closing the interior storm doors helps with street lights and weekend revelers. The place is ample and comfortable. We didn't use the kitchen very much but it's full equipped. Having a washing machine was helpful. Cheche have us pintxos recommendations and they were spot on. Overall, just a wonderful place to stay in San Sebastian.

It's an idyllic place, where time stops and invites you to reflect on your essence, the moment and the connection you have with nature. We were 2 families with children and we really enjoyed the animals, the purity of the environment and their hosts. Spectacular in autumn. Highly recommended to spend a few quiet days, without a hurry, let yourself be carried away and learn... We had a great time in this house, the welcome was superb we met an accessible and attentive person if we needed anything. The house was impeccable, the cleanliness impeccable. This house is great for spending your vacation, a few minutes' drive from the sea, a large swimming pool and a plancha in the house. I highly recommend this listing.

Very nice Basque house a few steps from the river where the kids loved swimming. Beautiful environment and peaceful place to unwind. Numerous nature activities around. NB provide a good mosquito repellent 😄

we really enjoyed this getaway. it is rustic and peaceful. to get anywhere you will need walking boots or a car. the hills are beautiful but also steep. it is a wonderful place to get back to nature. thank you Leyre.

There are good places, there are very good places, there are great places and beyond is this place. Iturritxo (Gari) and her adorable mother, Rosa, are excellent hosts; superlative. Love is noticeable in every detail of the home. There were 10 of us and we were more than comfortable. The surroundings were fairytale and at the same time very close to downtown San Sebastian. It's hard to describe in a review, you have to experience it. I highly recommend this place.

We just spent 10 days in the beautiful and cute cottage of Béatrice and Frédéric and we had a wonderful time! Not only was the cottage itself very nicely and tastefully decorated with everything you need to cook, but it was also located in a very cozy and soothing garden next to the house of Béatrice and Frédéric who were always super friendly with advice and deeds in everything we needed. The location of the cottage was perfect. Barely 10 minutes from the beach and very doable distance from numerous interesting places (we visited San Sébastian, Biarritz, Pamplona, …). There was no AC but that wasn't a problem because the temperature cools down very much at night. We stayed here in the middle of a heat wave and had no problems. You do need to bring a good mosquito spray because mosquitoes are there in this region. Autan works perfectly. Beautiful house, very nice and functional. Recent and quiet amenities. Easily radiates to Hendaye, Spain, Rhune and the surrounding area. Good interaction with Davinia and David. A property to remember.

My wife and I spent a week in the accommodation, no complaints, everything went well. The terrace is super nice for enjoying breakfast in the sun. The center of Labenne is right next door, with its restaurants, shops etc. We will definitely be coming back! 😀

Very friendly welcome. This bastide is beautiful, tastefully restored. We were not able to enjoy the pool, the weather did not lend itself but we can see that the place is made to spend long hours at the edge of the pool in a very well thought out environment. We stayed in the dovecote, impeccable cleanliness, sober and neat decoration, garden view, absolute calm. It's a 10/10!

All the other reviews are correct, Anti is a beautiful person with a beautiful home. We loved the private pool and trampoline. The place is clean and clearly well cared for. It made a wonderful place for our family holiday especially with the local beach just a 7 min drive. We'd definitely recommend it. We did have some challenges with the wifi, which made working and using our baby camera hard, and there was a bit of an issue with the gate to get out one morning, but all in all, it was lovely.

Everything was simple, check-in, checkout and the accommodation is extremely pleasant to stay in, all in peace. Mathieu is available to respond to our requests without being intrusive. What more could you ask for?

Very nice comfortable apartment in a beautiful neighborhood with Basque houses, ideally located close to the beach. The bikes available and especially the private jacuzzi are perfect for enjoying the stay and relaxing. Eric is very friendly, responsive and gave us tips on places to see. I would recommend it in a second!

Chantal and Patrick hosted us in their charming house with an amazing view! Everything was perfect for resting before and after our friends' wedding in a nearby village. We enjoyed the outdoors with our 3-year-old daughter. The house is well thought out and practical. The exteriors are very well maintained with beautiful tropical plants and fruit trees. The perfect combo to rest and enjoy. Thank you again for hosting us!

i was super well received and I was able to integrate the accommodation a little before the scheduled time to put my luggage down,a lot of attention for the guest and very clean and functional accommodation small terrace with table in really cool recommendation only a small barbecue would be ideal but it's really personal

The accommodation is excellent! It is close to the city center and has everything we needed for a comfortable stay: microwave, washing machine, coffee makers, iron, drying rack, cleaning products, and even a vacuum cleaner besides other utensils. In addition, Dominique is a very kind person who gave us all the instructions with great care. Inside the accommodation, we also found brochures and booklets with useful and interesting information about the region. We highly recommend it!
