Naturhaus Altmühltal

Our nature house consists entirely of natural building materials and uses the synergy effects of radiant heat and solar energy. The untreated wood is constructed according to the system of Bio-Solar-Haus, whereby no paint or other preservatives were processed. The solid wood floors throughout the house are oiled. In addition to natural wood such as stone pine and oak, other natural materials such as natural stone from the region (Jura marble) have been processed. The construction of the Bio-Solar house allows a natural air circulation and thus dispenses with the disadvantages of ventilation systems. There are no convection formed due to a built-ceiling and wall radiant heating.Through the house-in-house system (without vapor barrier), the water vapor can diffuse freely to the outside, causing no condensation and mold. Given the low heating energy demand in the house and the use of solar radiation, no fossil fuels are needed. Solar energy is the main energy source, only in winter can be heated if necessary with the wood stove. Service we are happy to bring you fresh, crispy and wholesome bread rolls from a BIO-bakery from our region.

Arne is a great host, very friendly, super uncomplicated. His house is a joy for all who enjoy aesthetic clarity and like wood. The location on the edge of the field - pleasant view of the vastness. House and amenities are of absolute top quality; the kitchen is almost more complete than our own at home. Thought of in detail for the guest's well-being (from fresh flowers everywhere to plastic wrap in the kitchen drawer). The lovingly landscaped garden invites you to relax; here, too, everything has been thought of. There is a lot to discover in Neuburg and the surrounding area and with Arne you will easily find out what you want to do. What we needed and searched for, Arne exceeded with ease.

We had a wonderful time at Angelika's place. The apartment is lovingly and tastefully decorated in every detail. You can immediately tell how much heart is in it. The garden in particular is a real highlight: quiet, well-kept and beautiful, a perfect place to relax. We felt very comfortable from the first moment and would have liked to have stayed longer. I have family in the Dollnstein area that we visited for 3 weeks in July 2024. We stayed at this property and fell in love with the village. The rental property itself is nice and spacious. There were 4 adults and 1 child who stayed at the property and there was plenty of room for us all. If we needed anything, Roland was very responsive and the property manager came right away. The kitchen is a highlight-it's huge with a full-size refrigerator. It is also convenient to have a washer on site for clothes. My only recommendations would be stronger wifi throughout the home (it's spotty in some areas) and clear directions on how to use appliances and tv (there was a learning curve with those at times). Overall, the village the place is located in is a true highlight. There is a quaint soccer park/playground area that my son and I visited daily. The villagers were kind and curious about us Americans but not in a rude way. We felt safe and happy the entire stay.
