Gillian's place is absolutely wonderful; it was like magic stepping from the outside world into a place that was full or welcome and warmth. Everything we needed was there and everything was in excellent condition. We would stay there again in a heartbeat; just exceptional in every way; and Gillian was fabulous in making herself available when we had challenges getting there until later in the evening; she was responsive, cheerful and spot on in her directions to us. Overall, it was just a great experience. Thank you, Gillian.

we stayed here as a family of 7 with 5 kids in tow. we chose this place due to its location to alton towers and cadbury world. arrival was really easy as I had been sent clear instructions upon booking. on first glance the house was clean. However, my 5 kids with their little hands were finding bits and bobs that had been left from previous guests. from a plastic bottle to some boobie pads (that's what my kids called them) but I just swiftly binned these and it didn't cause any problems. the wifi was a bit hit and miss. The amenities were fantastic!! the garden was lovely to sit in with nice garden furniture. big TV in master bedroom and living room, with everything on. The hot water wasn't coming through one morning, I contacted the host and within 10 minutes someone was round and sorted it. Hosts were very responsive throughout our stay. we loved it here and will look to come back again!!! thank you for letting us stay at your lovely place 😊

Myself and my husband had such a lovely relaxing time at the Shepherds Hut. Beautiful surroundings and so peaceful. The accommodation had everything we needed and Joanne was such a great host. She even left us a homemade fruit loaf for my husbands birthday, some milk and butter which was so lovely! We walked to the local pub The Swan Inn too which is highly recommended & only about 10/15 minutes walk. We had a fantastic stay and would love to go back sometime.

We had a wonderful stay. The location was perfect, offering a serene and picturesque setting that was both amazing and peaceful. The hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The pod itself was like a TARDIS—compact yet surprisingly spacious and equipped with everything we could possibly need. It was a fantastic experience for our children, who loved interacting with the animals and enjoying the countryside surroundings. Overall, it was a wonderful stay, and we highly recommend it.

Zeta's place was so peaceful, with beautiful surroundings. We really relaxed and the break did us good, after a difficult time. We loved the pool, jacuzzi and sauna. Zeta was friendly and very helpful. A lovely place. We will return again in the warmer weather.

Kids absolutely loved it. A good family adventure - the excitement of outdoor cooking and camping with the luxury of comfortable beds, a private hot tub and private outdoor kitchen exclusively for our use. Would definitely stay again and would recommend. The added cost of additional logs to heat the hot tub was a little unexpected, however. I may not have read the small print properly though.

My husband and I had a lovely stay here with our puppy. the campsite was lovely and included everything you would need such as kettle microwave etc, and the dining area is especially helpful too. The area is lovely and there is 2 pubs within a short walking distance both of which are dog friendly and serve great food we particularly enjoyed the gate inn. The area is beautiful and there is lots to see and do we would love to come back again to this site to see some of the places we didn’t get the chance to go, Thankyou Caroline for a lovely break away and for being a welcoming and accommodating host throughout our stay.

Came here with my partner for her birthday, had a message early in the day of arrival with checking details & directions to find establishment. Hosts were very welcoming without being too much. We had an issue with the hot tub, to which host was very quick to sort. To our amazement the following day we were greeted with a message offering us an extra night free of charge! Amazing, even more so given it been a bank holiday weekend! Lovely, quirky & peaceful get away for any family/couple/friends x

We were very impressed with the location and the apartment. Couldn’t have asked for any more! The host was really friendly and helpful, when we mentioned we would get to Manchester early he offered an early check in for a small fee which was worth it. We were also advised on getting on free parking space very nearby.

What a great stay at Luzon dove barn!! The house was beautifully clean and very well equipped. When we arrived there was no bedding for the 7th person on the sofa so we contacted Donna and somebody was sent over within the hour with bedding and to check that everything else was ok. It was very easy to locate the property and the key pad gated entrance and keypad door was very easy to operate. What a beautiful place. Thank you!

A lovely, home-from-home stay at Linda's place. It really felt like staying in a lived in house rather than a stark hotel room. The kitchen was well equipped with loads of glasses and mugs, crockery, pans etc and oil and herbs provided. We made use of the washing machine and the outside drying space was great so didn't need the tumble dryer. Comfy beds and handy to have towels provided. The kitchen table was great to work from home and the WiFi worked perfectly. Nice garden and patio, and a quiet street with views of a grassy area with trees from the front of the house. Had no trouble parking two cars near the house. Check in and out was easy with a lock box.

Everything we wanted under one roof. The ‘George & Dragon Pub’ was fab with its pool table, dart board, karaoke machine, massage chairs and bar. Hot Tub was also great to use as was the outside garden space. The BBQ was also great. Living space was limited but adequate and beds were comfy. Would definitely look to re-visit in the future. Andrew was a great host and was very quick to respond to any questions I had. Thank you 😁

So happy we came across this listing. Amazing place and it’s clear the host goes above and beyond to ensure their place stands out from the rest! Hassle free check in , super responsive host , really clean and extra blankets came in handy. The small details like a Netflix account specifically for the place was left logged in, QR codes for wifi and fire safety instructions was really nice to see and definitely didn’t go unnoticed ! If we’re ever in Leicester again then we’ll be sure to book this listing again !
