Situated on a steep hill above the Derwent Valley, it’s a short drive or good walk to Chatsworth and Bakewell and Matlock. Nestled on the edge of Beeley Moor Copy Wood sits below woodland and is surrounded by fields grazed by sheep. A short walk down brings to Rowsley village. On the Southern edge of the stunning Peak District overlooking picturesque Carsington Water, Manor Cottage is a 18th century Grade 2 Listed house with oak beams and log burning fire. Cosy, spacious and comfortable it has been recently restored to a high standard. The house comfortably sleeps 8 in 4 ensuite bedrooms. The Peak District is a magical place, lots of history and spectacular scenery. Whatever you like doing - eating, walking, cycling, shopping, sightseeing - this is the perfect base.
