Absolutley lovely, the cabin was incredible with gorgeous views and very easy to access. Incredible offerings aswell, and very clean and tidy. Will definatley be staying again and will be recommending to friends and family. 10 out of 10

What an incredible stay! Very convenient for our intended stay, and great value for money! Upon meeting Brian, he was very friendly and incredibly helpful in regards to showing us how to work everything in the home. It’s a lovely little secluded place with excellent restaurants and pubs in the area, and it’s right next to a walking track which could provide ample enjoyment for those who love to stretch their legs. Would love to come and stay again!

I had a pleasant stay at Jay's. The place was clean, private, and quiet, with clear instructions provided throughout. The rooms were spotless and well-maintained. Overall, it was a great stay and I’d definitely recommend it!

Had a lovely stay, hosts were helpful and responsive when I needed anything! Clean bathroom, clean bed, cosy space and the projector was a lovely touch!!

We absolutely loved our stay here and will definitely be staying again. It’s something different and so peaceful! We sat outside and lit a fire and looked out at the amazing views. Thankyou so much for our stay we can’t wait to come back!

Lovely lodge, even more spacious than the photos show! Very clean and plenty of amenities for cooking etc. The lake was peacful and very centrally located for things to do in the area such as bike rides, Conkers, furnace museum etc. A good Coop a few mins walk away and bigger supermarkets a short drive. The bistro on site, run by Joanne did the most amazing brunches and HUGE slabs of homemade cake. I wish we had discovered this before our last day! Highly recommend a meal by the lake side. They do beer and wine too but its only open until 4pm so make the most of it during your stay!

This is a lovely little studio with everything we needed for a weekend away. Great base for visiting the area and lots of walking trails close by. The village has 3 pubs and the view from the studios are stunning. The hosts were fantastic. They were very contactable and provided bread, juice, milk, tea, coffee etc for arrival. Anything we needed we knew we could just ask. Will defo be staying again.

Really lovely cosy cabin for me and my partner and our dog! Nice peaceful area and lovely cabin nice and clean and relaxing amazingly had plenty of cooking facilities for such a tiny space really well thought out how it’s all laid out. Perfect little get away with lovely dog walk surroundings and looks very well looked after Thank you for an enjoyable stay!

Such a lovely place to stay with our dog and have a lovely chilled weekend. Very peaceful and lots of great places short drive away.

We had a lovely stay at Laura’s Shepherd’s hut. The views were amazing. The hut is pretty well equipped and the addition of the wood fire pizza oven was good fun but could do with a rolling pin to make rolling the pizzas a bit easier. The hut was very clean and Laura was a responsive host. Would recommend for anyone who wants beautiful views and nice walks in the Peak District.

An absolute gem of a find which we wouldn’t hesitate to return to. We wanted something away from it all surrounded by peace and quiet and that’s exactly what we got. Emi’s place is beautiful with canal walks on the doorstep. Surrounded by nature with excellent facilities and a super helpful host, this little home is well worth a visit. I just wish we could have stayed longer!

What an amazing place. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the stables. Rachael and Gerry were fantastic hosts from Rachael’s detailed instructions on how to get to The Stables and local recommendations for food and walks to Gerry’s super friendly and knowledgable talks on the history of the farm and the land around it. He went out of his way on the morning we were leaving to take us up into the woods to see the rocking stone and we were also had the privilege of a tour of Boulder cabin which looks amazing. The Stables itself is an absolute gem and is exactly as described. We enjoyed walking along to the pub after a day out walking across the fields and surrounding countryside and then coming back to the stables to sit out on the patio area and later in the evening cosying up in front of the log burner. The shower was lovely and warm and the bed was super comfy. Thank you Rachael and Gerry for sharing this gem and we will most definitely be back

We had an amazing time at Jocelyn’s cabin! She was so responsive before booking, letting us know about the roads to the cabin and the outdoor camping shower. The cabin itself was amazing, no frills and exactly what we wanted for a weekend hiking in the Peaks. The surroundings are gorgeous and we sat out by the fire just enjoying the quiet. The shower was a fun adventure we both enjoyed and being able to wrap up by the wood burner after was 10/10. She also recommended us a local pub for dinner and WOW it was amazing! Book in as it gets busy but a stellar recommendation. In general Jocelyn was a great host at a great cabin and we will definitely be coming back!

We have stayed in the Peak District a few times now and this was the perfect lodge to relax in the evenings after walks. The lodge was very clean and Elizabeth was a lovely host and went above and beyond for us. Would highly recommend and for the price is is amazing! Plus watching the little lambs jumping around the field outside the window was an added bonus! we will be returning and recommending to friends and family!

We had the best stay here, the lodge was beautiful and had even better views. We loved every morning looking out at the views through the window above the bed. It had everything we needed and the guide was very helpful for local pubs and taxi information. Loved the selection of DVDs as well. We will be back!

My husband and I had the most wonderful, romantic and relaxing stay at Hawthorn Cottage. The Cottage itself was absolutely magical, every little detail added to the atmosphere and beauty of it all. We both said it felt like we had been transported back in time but with all of the luxury appliances of the modern world! The hot tub was perfection with a breathtaking view. And the bed was one of the comfiest we've ever slept on. Thank you so much for hosting us, the amount of love and dedication put into Hawthorn Cottage is apparent and much appreciated! The place is so cute and cosy, everything was perfect! Nicola was very patient considering we got lost on the way and she stayed on the line until we found the place (our fault for not being great with directions even though she sent us very clear instructions beforehand! haha). Stayed once before and it was just as peaceful as I remember it being. Very easy to get too, with stunning views over the countryside with lots of walks to enjoy. Would absolutely recommend for people who want to escape phones and city life for a few days. Will certainly be staying again

Great stay at Peggy's Hut! Spotlessly clean shepherd's hut and very cosy. Filled with everything we needed and very confirtable bed! Great idea with Honesty Shed. Beautiful surroundings. Great communication with Rachel. Would definitely stay again!

Fantastic stay, lovely little cabin with lots more space than you’d think! Really comfortable and great area with lots of close walks and local pubs. Hosts were lovely, had a quick chat as we turned up but then were given plenty of privacy.

Lovely location, with a very peaceful stay! the accommodation was exactly as expected, proving a very unique and cosy experience! The little extras made this a 5* stay, with the pre-warmee hot tub, supplied fire wood, the fairy lights etc.

We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend stay in The Goods Van at Stoop Farm. The views were breathtaking with easy access to public walking routes. The van itself included everything we needed and more. The bathroom facilities was roughly 1 minute walk away which was fine - a spacious area which was private for us during our stay. Thanks to the time of year there was lots of cute lambs prancing about the fields which was an additional treat. Richard was a great host, proactive in making initial contact with details and very welcoming when we met in person. Would definitely recommend and we’re looking forward to planning another visit.

We had a beautiful stay at Badgers Bottom. Steve was so friendly and we felt right at home from the minute we arrived. The space was beautiful and so peaceful. We loved the style of the property and it is clear how much time and energy Steve has put into this property to make it as beautiful and homely as it is. Thank you for a lovely stay! It was exactly what we needed!
