Summerfell Cottage close to Ridgevale Beach

We have done extensive renovation and remodeling to the home with attention to detail. We believe we have created a warm and inviting atomosphere. The home is decorated in a coastal style with carefully chosen accents from the edison bulbs in the dining area to the custom barn/boathouse style door and repurposed hand hewn 18th century beam that anchors the staircase. The Kitchen is equipped with the same attention to detail for those who enjoy preparing their own meals. Summerfell is an entire home rental. Both hosts live nearby, Patty and Bill will be accessible via cell, text and email. The property is in a peaceful neighborhood with a good mix of seasonal homes and full time residences. The area has a number of quiet roads perfect for evening strolls. Of course, the beach is a short 5 minute walk away. The kitchen is equipped for the guest who enjoys cooking. From small appliances (Crockpot, waffle iron, blender, hand mixer etc) to small gadgets (citrus press, microplane, garlic press, potato ricer etc) A three burner weber gas grill is on the deck.

Our house is a stones throw from the beach. The harbor, Hyannis, downtown, cafes, restaurants, anywhere from 5 star dining to family-friendly dining are all in walking distance. Several family friendly activities are very close. You’ll love our place because of the walk to the family friendly beach, the ambiance, the ocean view and the neighborhood feel. Our place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, fishermen, families (with kids) and large groups.

There are so many wonderful things to say about Mathew's place its hard to know where to begin! The house was spotless upon our arrival and well stocked throughout as others have mentioned. The house is located in a cute, quiet neighborhood in a perfect mid Cape location and all amenities of the house functioned flawlessly for a 3 week stay. A noteworthy mention is that the beds are very comfortable! We are a very hard to please couple that found Mathew's place perfect!!! Highly recommended!!

This place was everything we could’ve wanted for a week at the Cape. It’s in one of the best areas we have ever stayed on Cape Cod. We loved how they have the house decorated it was perfect. We had PLENTY of room for my wife, our two kids and me to relax when we were spent from activities. The yard was huge and there was wildlife all around. Nice and private location but 5-10 minute drive to get to anything you want. They were super accommodating to our last minute schedule shift and very responsive and give spot on recommendations on some things to check out. We would hands down stay again.

we stayed for a week in August and had a fantastic time!!. the cottage is located a few stairs away from a beautiful private beach..my kids had a lot fun playing on the beach.the cottage has all what you need for a relaxing week in cape cod. short drive to restaurants and local amenities. Bruce has been very helpful and always available.we will.come back for sure.

A wonderful spot filled with Machpee and Cape cod decor. The location was excellent given we travelled up and down the Cape and needed a spot that was centrally located. This house was perfect for our stay in the Cape Cod area. It was centrally located so it made day tripping easy and convenient. We also traveled with our three month old and the playpen with mattress worked perfectly for us and baby. Jenny also kindly provided a baby bath, highchair, and even books. I would recommend this stay to anyone. We also very much enjoyed the large and open living room/kitchen area downstairs. Thank you so much for hosting us!

This was such a relaxing place to stay. Jessica’s communication was quick and remarkably helpful — and she provided great recommendations and suggestions. The overall layout of the home affords room for privacy while also providing a comfortable communal space. The walkability of the location was much better than I expected, with closeby beaches, taverns, and restaurants. To be specific, 5 people stayed here — myself, wife, two kids, and an infant, for a stay around a month. And we never felt constrained (the back deck makes for a great workspace). Thanks again — would love to stay here in the future!

The house and hosts were amazing - The perfect acommodation in the perfect location for a three generation family vacation. We had ample room to play some of the many games at the house during the stormy days while we were there. The youngest member of the family was thrilled with all the beach toys and books that were available. This house is extremely well equipped for children and we did not miss anything. We loved the easy access to the beach, even on rainy days, and walked to downtown Barnstable often. Yael was super responsive to our questions. One of the best places we've ever stayed at, thank you Yael for making this stay so easy and your house so comfortable.

Most quiet place we’ve ever stayed. Even though it is part of a larger house (a downstairs studio apartment), the space is very private with a dedicated driveway and yard that is lovely. If you’re taking advantage of all the fun places to go in the surrounding towns this place is perfect. The outside table and chairs added some nice living space too. There are some great suggestions in the notebook to consider when arriving if you’re not familiar with Chatham. Loved the throw blankets for cool evenings, a nice touch. Also, the bike path is just up the road so you can ride from the house. A great place all around.

Lovely property conveniently close to Route 6 with all the privacy of a quiet neighborhood. Immaculately clean - even if you have high standards, you’ll find this place exceeds expectations. Nice layout with room for the kids in the basement and 2 nice bedrooms. Comfortable beds and spacious dining area. We’ve stayed here twice and found it consistently great.
