Teresa kept us informed from the moment we booked. Giving clear directions and instructions for check in. We arrived just after check in had opened and the hot tub was ready to use. There was a lovely welcome basket left inside for us. Little Acres what a gem it was very clean and tidy inside and out. There was a guest book with useful numbers and instructions for all the appliances and hot tub. The views were amazing and the area peaceful. The hot tub was welcomed after a day walking mount snowdon. A nice green area in front of the shepherds hut was kept tidy with a hammock on it. We walked through the gardens to see the animals although most were still out in the fields. Would definitely recommend for a relaxing break.

Location was stunning, the host was lovely and it has beautiful walks on the doorstep. Hot tub definitely worth the extra money as elevates the stay to another level. The dog thoroughly enjoyed his stay as well!

Superb stay. Gorgeous location. Hosts were fantastic and the food was amazing. Recommend the pizza evening that was great fun. The breakfast was above expectation. The children enjoyed the craic and playing with the really friendly dogs. We will be back.

A great place to stay as we were visiting the Royal Welsh Showground at Builth Wells. The accommodation was extremely clean and comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay.

5 stars all round. Highly recommended. This was a great place to stay. An easy walk from the train station (<10 min). In the centre of Charlbury, only minutes from nice pubs, restaurants and the local co-op, but still very peaceful and quiet. In a lovely garden with own outside deck and table. Bright and airy. Spacious enough for two. Good shower. Comfortable king bed with crisp linen. Cozy and comfortable sitting room. Charlbury is a beautiful town with easy train and bus links to London, Oxford, Woodstock (Blenheim), etc. And gorgeous surrounding countryside with great walks. Martin and Helena were generous friendly hosts. We really appreciated a late check out so that we could enjoy a leisurely countryside walk on our last morning. Many thanks!

Already planning our next stay! We found the cabin really easily though it might be tricky if arriving in the dark. Absolutely fantastic location and surroundings. Beautiful views, peaceful, everything you need. It’s glamping so if you’re expecting that then you will be thrilled! Sat outside and had a drink in the sunshine, woke up to a herd of deer crossing the field in the morning. Plenty of great eateries around if you don’t fancy bbqing. The sky at night is absolutely stunning as you would imagine. Had everything we needed and stayed warm and cosy all night thanks to very good quality bedding and the little log burner. Cabin is cosy but we had enough space for our suitcase and the dogs crate too. Really special place and that’s coming from someone who’s not usually a camping/glamping girlie!

We had a fantastic stay at Dru's cabin with our young children. They were delighted to meet the turkeys, chickens and super friendly dog, and had a blast running around in the garden and interacting with Dru's very friendly family. They also loved the cabin and having their own space above where mum and dad slept. The cabin is cosy, well appointed, and plenty warm (once you get the fire going!) and the views are a delight. There is some noise from the main road immediately behind the cabin - didn't bother us but bear this in mind if you are a light sleeper.

A unique stay in the shepherds hut with beautiful surroundings. Had all the facilities needed for a long weekend, and extra luxury with the hot tub.

Had a lovely weekend in the cabin, very peaceful, with beautiful views. The cabin itself was spotless with modern amenities. We enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub and Luke left clear instructions on how to use it. Would love to stay here again in the future. Thankyou 😊

A wonderful stay with the best views! A great get away for a long weekend for partners who love peace, serenity and walking.

Our two days stay in the Shepard’s hut was everything we wanted and more. The views and privacy were amazing, just as we like it. The best part of all and the main reason to choosing this place was the inclosed/fence that surrounds the entire area we stayed, our two energetic cocker spaniel dogs absolutely loved the freeness to run about at all times. The hut was cosy and had everything we needed. We will defo return for another visit in the future. Sue was a lovely and friendly host. Simone & Daz

We had the best stay here, the lodge was beautiful and had even better views. We loved every morning looking out at the views through the window above the bed. It had everything we needed and the guide was very helpful for local pubs and taxi information. Loved the selection of DVDs as well. We will be back!

This was a great Shepard’s hut with just the right amount of luxury mixed with the off grid experience we were after. The surrounding area has more walks than you can do in a month. The host recommended the local community run pub, The Salusbury Arms. It was accessed ether by road or a walk over the hill. Good beer, good food and great staff!

Lovely, peaceful place to stay. Cosy with everything you need. Very clean. At the end of their the garden but feels private and self contained. Horses in garden next door, lovely. Friendly and responsive host. I would love to stay again. Fully recommend this place, thanks Amanda.

I stayed two nights at calm acre cabin with my dog. We have been to lots of similar places for short weekend breaks, but I must say calm acre is my favourite! We walked for hours and miles around the surrounding areas. There were great views and lots of hills, streams, bridges, wild horses and hundreds of sheep!🤣 We bumped into two dog walkers over the whole 2 days so you really are very secluded and remote. After a day of exploring the wilderness we would arrive back to the cabin, take my muddy boots off and your dog can go for a quick swim in the private river access (to wash off any mud.🤣) then it was time to have a cup of tea and light the fire pit and sit in the cosy outdoor area until dark. I had the best nights sleep I have had in a long time inside the cabin! The comfy mattress and hot water bottle was lovely.. everything is simple and easy. Chloe has thought of pretty much everything you may need and if not she is always nearby to help you out if you need anything. :)

A beaaitiful secret hideaway, crafted with love and creativity. Very convenient for central York, with a supermarket and take-outs just minutes away, but within the property itself, a chance to rest, renew and be inspired. Wendy and Fynn were incredibly warm hosts, and the number of thoughtful touches in both the design and facilities, were so appreciated. I had an incredibly comfortable sleep, with a generous breskfast in the garden, warm shower and great range of books to choose from! WiFi is good if reqiired. The visitors' book is testament to the number of happy solo travellers who have appreciated the opportunity to unwind. For the price of a Premier Inn, why not add in a magical adventure?

Absolutely loved my stay in the Hay trailer! The place is cosy, authentic and peaceful - perfect for a quiet trip away. But still a short drive to Bath City, which is a fantastic place to see with loads to do. Sophie is a lovely host, responsive and provided lots of recommendations. Her place is brilliant to have long walks and really unwind. Cannot recommend enough!

We were so pleased to find this gem for a last minute night away - we wish we could have stayed longer! The hut has everything you could possibly need (we were particularly impressed by the DVD collection!!) It was very clean and the decor made it extra cosy. We especially LOVED feeding the cute donkeys and stargazing in the hot tub - the views are just incredible. Nicola was a lovely host making sure we had all the information we needed, wishing us a safe journey and left us some goodies for our stay!! Thank you so much for having us 🤍

Great stay at Peggy's Hut! Spotlessly clean shepherd's hut and very cosy. Filled with everything we needed and very confirtable bed! Great idea with Honesty Shed. Beautiful surroundings. Great communication with Rachel. Would definitely stay again!

We had an amazing experience. The place , surrounding locations were stunning. We enjoyed every bit of it. We can’t thank Margaret and Mike enough for their hospitality, warmth . The house well equipped, will all possible amenities. The fire pit , bbq elevated the experience even further.

Had a fabulous stay for my birthday, lovely added extras like processco, chocolate and balloons. Loved the dog and chickens popping to say hello. Only thing we wasn't expecting was hearing the people staying in other lodgings, as they had music on till early hours, so not the hosts fault but worth mentioning as you can hear others and not as secluded as expected. But would absolutely visit again such a beautiful place and surroundings.
