My family and I (7 adults & 1 child) recently stayed at ‘The Cottage’ and we all agreed that it was a wonderful holiday. The house is beautiful, very spacious, spotlessly clean and was well equipped for all of our needs. The hub is definitely the kitchen, we enjoyed playing family board games around the dining table. The gardens are amazing we loved watching wild rabbits, squirrels and cows everyday. It was nice to see home grown vegetables and a herb garden too. Our grandson enjoyed playing football with his dad in the garden, jumping on the trampoline and feeding the fish. It is ideally located for travelling into York and not far from the designer outlet. Our group ranged in age from 2yrs to 78yrs and there was something for everyone to do at the house. We all really needed a family break due to recent illness and enjoyed spending time together making lovely memories. We hope to be able to stay again and thank both Neil and Adrienne for sharing their beautiful home with us.

Perfect setting for our family of five to enjoy the city but also enjoy some peace & quiet.

My three sons and I arrived at The Lodge on a beautiful sunny afternoon for a 2 night stay. There was parking available directly outside the Lodge. Once in the Lodge, upon opening up the bifold patio doors onto the patio, it was like heaven and paradise in one. We were just mesmerised and sat on the lovely patio furniture whilst looking at the lake and reflecting. We then had a quick drink in the onsite club house which was very nice, and then travelled a short distance to the local Waitrose. Upon returning to the Lodge we retired to the patio and watched the sunset, whilst taking in the wildlife and beautiful ambience of the environment. I fully recommend a stay at this lodge, especially if it’s just zen time you need. The host was very receptive / responsive upon messaging, thus making the stay even more enjoyable.

A wonderful half term long weekend with our teenagers. Super quiet location, but close enough to Lancaster to make a dash into the city easy. Smashing property with jus the right mixture of character and modernity. Will be back.

Excellent property. Very clean and in a relaxing location. Very comfortable beds, modern and well appointed facilities. A most pleasant stay and we are looking forward to our return at Christmas.

We enjoyed our stay at Monika’s Airbnb. The kitchen, dining and lounge areas were particularly inviting. Everything was very clean and it was a very homey atmosphere. Monika left us some supplies which we appreciated as well. Getting in was trouble free due to the clear instructions. Overall a very pleasant experience.

Great house, bigger and better than pictures. We loved the location as easy to get into town driving or uber and lovely parks close by for walks and nearby shops for food etc. everything in the house was spot on with massive master bedroom with extremely comfy bed! Highly recommend this place and look forward to another visit.

It is in a lovely location, great views of the Malvern Hills, lots of good walks close by. Many good eating places not too far away. The Cow Shed is well equipped, with an excellent bathroom and shower, comfortable living area. The kitchen is a bit smaller than we would have liked, but it all worked really well. Nigel was very attentive, making sure we were comfortable. Our elderly spaniel enjoyed the space around and got on well with the two really friendly terrier residents! Will definitely revisit.

We had a wonderful group stay at Anthony’s beautiful home. It is a unique property, rich in history and stunning interiors. The large garden was lovely to relax in and we enjoyed several local walks. The house is warm, clean, spacious and very comfortable. Anthony was kind and responsive from the start and could not do enough to help. We would recommend this property highly.

Great house for a family gathering, exactly as described, lots of games and large space for everyone. really comfy beds, Sarbjit was very responsive with messages and helpful with any questions asked

Oldbury Barn is in a lovely location in the countryside with great views (though tricky to find, so the 'what3words' helped a lot!). The house was nicely presented and lovely and clean. Plenty of pots, pans, mugs (!) utensils etc for a large family group. The open plan nature of the kitchen/diner/lounge is great for a multi generational family gathering like ours, as you are always all together in one huge room. However, note that its a tiled floor and there isn't much in the way of soft furnishings so noise echoes around a bit and can be heard from all bedrooms - but this is only a problem if you have very young kids going to bed early or getting up early! The 2 ground floor bedrooms are large and with lots of storage. The 2 upstairs bedrooms are small with very low ceilings and little storage - fine for kids but we were were 7 adults and one toddler, so that didnt work brilliantly for us . The "slight height restriction" in the description is quite an understatement!!

Warm, cosy and comfortable beds. Easy parking. A great stay. 10am check out is very early. Especially when check in isn't until 4pm. Communication unclear: Jake said he would send me check in details 2 days before my check in date but I had to message him on the day and then I was half way through a 6 hour journey towards the accommodation when Jake rang me and told me it was a "legal requirement" that I immediately send him my address, photo I.D and a current photo. If I didn't he wouldn't send me access details to the accommodation. He sent me an external link and I had to input personal details. He said it was clear in the check in instructions that this would happen but it wasn't: the check in instructions say "we would love some additional information" so I thought it was optional because Air BnB because they already have all of these details, that's why I use this app.

I have to come clean - I am an enthusiast of Penarth, the architecture of the town, the community feel, and everything about the place. Sarah's place, being among the oldest houses in the town, was a must for all the things I was looking for. Sarah herself is friendly and has clearly put a lot of herself into the house. My journey time to Penarth could have been subject to delays, being more than 500 miles... but we had good communication and met up without difficulty at the house. All in all, the house was cosy and well appointed. It also was a great base for strolling into Penarth Town centre and even, across the barrage, to Butetown and even Cardiff. I would thoroughly recommend Sara's house for your stay.

This was honestly the nicest Airbnb I have ever stayed in, it is truly incredible and I can’t stress enough how much the pictures don’t do it justice - but it makes it all the more magical when you arrive. We spent nearly an hour just exploring the gardens, we spent a whole day on the boat with friendly dragonflies. Truly in love and will be back! Thankyou Thomas!

We stayed here for a weekend away as a group of school mates all turning 30. The property was the perfect base for us, providing us with the best possible experience. We’re an active, activity based bunch and this stay had something for everyone. Multiple activities, from the pool table, darts board, table tennis, air hockey, and yes the Pool and Sauna. Many of my friends couldn’t believe just what we had found for this stay. Private use of the pool is a great bonus. All beds were made, fresh linens and towels provided. We used the kitchen to cook our breakfast each morning. There’s ample parking for 3-4 vehicles inside and plenty on street right next to the property, which is a quiet street so not a stress. Whilst the decor is aged, we are not particular on this and found it added to the charm. Plenty of beds, bathrooms and spots to relax. We would stay again! The host was fantastic in communication and response to questions posed and made the whole process easy.

We stayed here with four children (ages 2 to 6) and it was great. Lovely living area at the top of the house and plenty of space for everyone. We were very lucky with the weather and could eat outside on the balcony for most meals. Lots to do on the Lower Mill Estate for families. We would come again.

A very comfortable clean spacious place to stay with full range of facilities and wonderful hot tub. A great scenic outlook over the lake and easy walking access to the spa close by.

A beautiful bright spacious modern house with wonderful views across the lake. It is just like the pictures or even better. The lounge and bedrooms are so comfortable and the kitchen is wonderfully equipped with everything you need. Communication was excellent. I would highly recommend staying here.

We had a wonderful weekend break, the property was everything it was described to be. It was exceptionally clean, and spacious. The pool was a fantastic addition that was available for us to use when we wanted. Lucy was a fantastic host. She was available to answer questions about the property before we even booked. She was friendly and easy to communicate with throughout our stay.

This is second time we’ve stayed on Lower Mill Estate as it has great onsite facilities, so nice not to go too far with the little ones. We did the Cotswold Wildlife Park, it is a 30 minute drive but well worth it. Also Emerald Thai in Cirencester was delicious. The house itself had everything as described on the listing, lovely views over the lake and was enough space downstairs for 10 adults and 4 little ones. Two of the double rooms are on smaller side so wouldn’t recommend if you need space for a few travel cots. On the first morning a few of us had cold showers as hot water wasn’t on, but we figured it out waited half an hour and all was ok. We reported this along with one of double bed had broken slats which wasn’t ideal, but appreciate nothing could be done at the time. The contact was very apologetic about this and it didn’t hinder our stay. Thank you
