Beautiful surroundings, Katherine was a fantastic host and was very welcoming. Lots of extra touches in the hut such as breakfast and milk. A 30 minute walk to the heart of Oxford along a scenic canal, stunning views, wildlife all around and easy to walk. Katherine kindly allowed us to park before check in time. We visited the Perch pub which is a 10 minute walk and the food was delicious. Highly recommend this accommodation. We stayed two nights and loved it! Book now you won’t be disappointed! If you are looking for someone to escape to with the peace and tranquility of the countrywide with just a sprinkling of natural farm noise - this is the place to be. We had a really relaxing few days here and Rosalind was very helpful and in hand if you need anything. We always had a friendly greeting from the 3 dogs who would be delighted with a belly scratch. Loved it here.

Already planning our next stay! We found the cabin really easily though it might be tricky if arriving in the dark. Absolutely fantastic location and surroundings. Beautiful views, peaceful, everything you need. It’s glamping so if you’re expecting that then you will be thrilled! Sat outside and had a drink in the sunshine, woke up to a herd of deer crossing the field in the morning. Plenty of great eateries around if you don’t fancy bbqing. The sky at night is absolutely stunning as you would imagine. Had everything we needed and stayed warm and cosy all night thanks to very good quality bedding and the little log burner. Cabin is cosy but we had enough space for our suitcase and the dogs crate too. Really special place and that’s coming from someone who’s not usually a camping/glamping girlie!

Perfect for our short stay in Milton Keynes, hut was lovely and was nice to have some tea and biscuit provisions. Easy check in and a beautiful area to be set up at. Hut is right next to the farm house and store. Fortunately we had no noise from either. Overall very pleased, only slight issue was that the bathroom fan wasn't working (or we couldn't work out how to turn it on) so it got very humid in there, some signs of mould but could be related to the fan so I'm sure will get fixed soon.

We had such a lovely, relaxing time during our stay! The space was clean, cozy, and exactly what we needed to unwind. Everything was thoughtfully set up and made us feel right at home. Communication with Jon was easy and smooth from start to finish. We would definitely love to come back and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway!

Overall, accommodation was great and everything went well. Things that I would like to point out. List of amenities these things are not correct. 1. Carbon monoxide alarm for the fireplace. The bedroom is not operational which is a hazard. 2. Coffee machine was not there. We asked and we were kindly given a jar instant coffee. 3. Outdoor to dining area doesn't exist. there is ourdoor furniture but not a dining area. 4. Outdoor kitchen doesn't exist either. They are correct, there is a BBQ as mentioned on the amenities , but that is not a outdoor kitchen. 5. I understand there is no Wi-Fi available. Which would I was okay with as I have 50GB of data. What I was not aware is that the location is in a virtually a signal dead zone there was one spot that we had to go to , if we wanted to receive our Whats-App messages. I would see this as an important thing to mention to people. Lastly , we had the lovely couple who lived at the corner who were available when we needed to ask questions.

My partner, our dog and I had a wonderful 3 nights at Graham and Pip's Shephard huts. The views were spectacular and exactly what we were expecting from the listing! The bedroom was extremely cosy, especially when we had the log burner going and we were sat reading our books drinking tea. The kitchen had everything we needed, including a delicious loaf of homemade bread, and the bathroom was super clean; the shower was a real warm treat after a day of walking in the rain! There are some lovely walks accessible from the huts, if you don't want to travel too far out. Also, I promise that if you weren't a fan of bird watching (or listening) before, you definitely will be after your stay! Thank you Pip and Graham for providing us with the perfect retreat to nature we both strongly craved to escape the stressful 9-5 working life. We would 100% recommend to anyone wanting to switch off from their phones, and connect a bit more with the nature around us.

We loved our stay at Katie & Anna’s Shepherds hut. The orchard was lovely to sit in during the light evenings & the hut was clean and cosy.

We had a great time at The Sheep Shed. The views surrounding the hut are beautiful, and you can see them all from an extremely comfortable bed. Lots to do exploring Bicester, Oxford and local village pubs! Highly recommend :)

Great Stay! very peaceful, loved the visits from the dog! Hosts were incredibly responsive and helpful. definitely would stay again.

The Shepherds Hut was lovely and the surrounding garden beautiful. Really enjoyed our stay. Everything was as described and the information pack sent through before we arrived was very useful. We were lucky with the weather but it wasn’t quite cold enough to take advantage of the wood burner! Managed a long cycle ride - the 2 tunnels route, beware the hills on your return! Would definitely recommend staying here!

Beautiful hut. Designed, crafted and decorated to a high quality. Lots of privacy, having the oak field all to ourselves...the dogs loved it, as did we. Bob and Lisa were very friendly and hospitable. Highly recommend a stay.

Great stay at Peggy's Hut! Spotlessly clean shepherd's hut and very cosy. Filled with everything we needed and very confirtable bed! Great idea with Honesty Shed. Beautiful surroundings. Great communication with Rachel. Would definitely stay again!

Fantastic stay, lovely little cabin with lots more space than you’d think! Really comfortable and great area with lots of close walks and local pubs. Hosts were lovely, had a quick chat as we turned up but then were given plenty of privacy.

Would recommend staying here to anyone looking for a relaxing weekend away in the cotswolds, peaceful and beautiful surroundings and such a gorgeous hut. Alice was also super responsive and thoughtful, and lit the hot tub ahead of our arrival. We loved staying here!

Me and my boyfriend absolutely loved our stay it was perfect! The hut has everything you could need. It is so cute and cosy. The location is perfect - so quiet and relaxing.

Really lovely cosy cabin for me and my partner and our dog! Nice peaceful area and lovely cabin nice and clean and relaxing amazingly had plenty of cooking facilities for such a tiny space really well thought out how it’s all laid out. Perfect little get away with lovely dog walk surroundings and looks very well looked after Thank you for an enjoyable stay!

We enjoyed a restful and restorative weekend at the Meadow View Shepherd's Hut. The aspect of the hut is absolutely stunning, looking out over views of the Shropshire hills. The space feels incredibly private and has so many thoughtful touches, including BBQ and firepit equipment. David was really friendly and provided helpful instructions on finding the property as well as local guidance. We'd love to visit again in the near future!

A wonderful stay with the best views! A great get away for a long weekend for partners who love peace, serenity and walking.

Our two days stay in the Shepard’s hut was everything we wanted and more. The views and privacy were amazing, just as we like it. The best part of all and the main reason to choosing this place was the inclosed/fence that surrounds the entire area we stayed, our two energetic cocker spaniel dogs absolutely loved the freeness to run about at all times. The hut was cosy and had everything we needed. We will defo return for another visit in the future. Sue was a lovely and friendly host. Simone & Daz

Really nice stay here. Some of the amenities were missing but Laura was very responsive, instantly replied and stocked us up. Really nice to escape the city so would definitely recommend!

We had a wonderful get away at the honeypot for our anniversary. The hut was spotless with all the amenities you could need, but it still felt very cosy and homely. Jill was super helpful with making us comfortable and providing lots of recommendations for walks and eats, there is plenty to do. We really enjoyed the hot tub too, the perfect end to a day of exploring ! We will be recommending this stay to friends and family and couldn’t fault it:)
