Family-friendly vacation rentals in Dana Point

Last minute booking and a short stay, but this was a lovely home. Cynthia was very helpful.

Three Oaks was a lovely getaway! It was nice being a bit outside of town, very quiet & peaceful. The host was friendly, attentive & very welcoming. The bed was comfortable, something I have a problem with at most hotels I stay in. Will definitely come back on future visits to the area!

This home is in such a cute neighborhood. it's an older home that has been fixed up and is very charming. We chose not to pay for the pool to be heated, because we were just staying for a few nights and planned to spend most of our time in disneyland...as a result the pool was cold! It was February, so that is not a complaint, our son got out as quick as he got in it. The beds were firm, and everything was very clean. The showers had good water pressure and the plumbing all worked as it should. The driveway was plenty big to park two of our cars, it could have fit a third car if needed. The kitchen had good pans to cook our breakfast, and also was very clean. We did a test walk over to the parks when we first checked in, just to make sure we wouldn't get lost early the next day. It is exactly 1.5 miles to the entrance of either Disneyland or California Adventure. Great place to stay, I would book again next time we're going to Disneyland. Thank you Susy!

This is a lovely house at a very convenient yet quite location, under LA weather the pool is fantastic for a relaxing journey.

You enter the house, a little uncertain. From the outside, a little underwhelming. You pass through the cosy living room, still a little underwhelming. And THEN, WOW. The pool area, the tennis court, the Vista to the west, the mountains...spectacular, breathtaking, everything as advertised and more. Back in the house, you find a very well stocked kitchen, extremely comfortable bedrooms, a unique "guesthouse" for the Seniors (in our case), and above all...everything in working order. Absolutely no issues! Bravo to our great landlord, who was a super communicator. Overall: our family of 12, across 3 generations, found wonderful places to be together as well as to disperse. A great time was had by all in this Vista Villa wonder!

Stephanie’s house was perfect for our family. We attended my cousins wedding at a nearby winery and this house was super convenient. It was a large group of 9 adults and 2 kids and the space was just right. House was very clean and beds were very comfortable. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you Stephanie for a great stay!!!

This property was beautiful and the neighborhood was very peaceful. We had eight people in our party and we had plenty of space. We had everything we needed at the house. Definitely worth the price and would stay again!!

This home was beautiful! Plenty of space for the seven of us for our girls' trip. Helen was an excellent host. She was very responsive to any questions we had. The property was well-stocked with towels and linen, and had a washer and dryer in case you needed to do laundry. The backyard is beautiful. Extremely flexible check-in/check-out options. I would definitely stay again.

This was our second time staying at this condo. Very nice setup, so nice to being out dog and so close to the dog beach! Will stay again.

Cynthia and Ryan's place was an amazing stay. Windsor Hills/View Park is such a beautiful and peaceful neighborhood to walk around in especially while enjoying the sun. The house felt like home for the entirety of my being there. It was everything I could've asked for and more, and I truly enjoyed making dinner in the kitchen, the birds visiting the side patio, and the sunlit living room for reading my book. I feel rejuvenated and joyful leaving here, and I would definitely stay there again. Thank you Cynthia and Ryan for being great hosts, and sharing your home with me.

We had a great stay! The home was spacious, clean, and fully stocked with everything we needed. It was very accommodating and had plenty of great amenities, making it perfect for our family. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful, yet conveniently close to many stores and restaurants. It was also not too far from Disneyland, which made our trip even better. We truly enjoyed our time here and would absolutely recommend it to others.

This was our second time staying here. Great for families with small children. The pack and play, high chair and toys were perfect for our 4 year old and 9 month old. Valentin was super responsive and we appreciated the delivery of extra towels!

Jen’s place was perfect—clean, well-stocked with everything I needed, and exactly as described. She was super responsive, kept me informed throughout the stay, and was flexible with an early check-in which I really appreciated. Great experience all around!

The place was wonderful! There was ample space to move around plus the yard was spacious. The sand area was relaxing next to the fire pit. The jacuzzi was the right combination of private and accessible. It also had a view of the sunset/ocean!

Great house in an established neighborhood close to Disneyland. There were 5 adults and 3 children staying at the house and it was very comfortable! We only had breakfast at the house and spent our days at Disneyland so can't comment on the barbecue or hottub since we didn't get to enjoy the outside area. Would highly recommend staying here if you are going to Disneyland; it's in great proximity to the parks. John and Candy were very responsive when we contacted them regarding an issue with one of the showers.

Legoland perfection! The location is unbeatable, and the property is both clean and welcomingly warm. A fantastic stay overall.

Such a cool spot in a beautiful area! Jan and Dale provided a comfy spot that felt just like home. They provided time awesome snacks and the home had all the amenities we needed. Would gladly stay again!

Sarajane’s house was exactly as advertised, and was everything we expected it to be! She was extremely communicative, and very helpful with any questions we had, as well as recommendations for things to do with our two young boys! Would happily come back!

Wonderful, secluded location in the middle of an active vineyard. Large home with amazing views walking distance to tasting rooms. Highly recommended.

We loved everything about our stay! Location,comfort, and had the pleasure of meeting the home owner and he was wonderful! Highly recommend if you are looking for a homey get away with relaxing stay! The bed I. Master was better then the heavenly beds at Westin lol 😂 we will be back!!!

We loved staying here with my dog - the cabin was a perfect size for the two (three with the dog) of us! The kitchen is well-equipped with appliances and cookware - despite the small size, we were able to cook lovely meals and snacks. The view is amazing and quiet - loved sitting outside to eat. It was nice to walk around and meet the animals on site. Easy drives to lots of beautiful hiking. Dawn was extremely responsive, both quick and helpful with our questions. We definitely plan to return!
