East Lodge Cabin on the Loch

LewisRating, 5 stars1 day ago
We had an amazing week at the little cabin on the loch with our 2 dogs Jasper and Jeanie. It has everything you need for a peaceful time to yourselves. Sue and Henk were lovely to chat to when our paths crossed and they made sure everything was perfect for us. We adopted the friendly red squirrel for the week, who was always enjoying the surroundings of the loch. Its perfect location means the loch is a stones throw away, we went down every day for either a swim or a paddle board. If you too stay here then Mhor bakery in Callander is a must, the sourdough bread and scotch pies are amazing!! Thanks again to Sue and Henk for providing the perfect place for us to relax, celebrate and enjoy the loch!

Nice little cottage. WiFi was disrupted but we were offered a bottle of wine and a complimentary hot tub session which more than compensated for it :)

Spacious lodge with king sized bed

RuneRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
On arrival, the weather was coming in, but as soon as we were inside that just made the place feel cozy, it's well insulated against cold and drafts (and midges). And entering through the conservatory gives an upgraded porch to get yourself and your belongings sheltered under while you are fiddling to get in. Both kitchen and bathroom are really nicely specced, and we found the whole place to easily have everything we needed for holiday relaxing - including a very comfortable bed. The place is quite isolated, so unless your main plans for activity is walking - there is a nice round trip walk down to Furnace - or similar outdoor activities - or none at all - be aware that anything else requires a drive. That being said, nearby Inveraray was one of the most picturesque small towns we saw on our trip, with several good places to eat.

Fyne Glamping, Bute Pod

JoannaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Andy & Faye are fabulous hosts, the pod itself is beautiful and the hot tub was great! The smaller hot tub fits two perfectly with lots of room. We had some car trouble the day after we arrived which was stressful to deal with, but Andy & Faye were on hand to help us as much as they could! They went out of their way to drive us to a garage and to a shop so we had everything we needed while we waited for our car to be recovered. Andy and Faye were extremely attentive and understanding of our unfortunate car situation and I cannot thank them enough for being so kind to us, they really alleviated some of the stress while we tried to fix the car! The location of the pods is absolutely beautiful and we will definitely be back again soon, we highly recommend Fyne Glamping for a lovely wee getaway hosted by two wonderful people.

Dunans Cottage

CallumRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Wonderful stay at the cabin. Beautiful location with stunning views and a private fenced in garden so my dog could run free. Great recommendations for things to do during the stay, such as local walks and day trips with ferry information . Very well equipped cabin with everything we needed in the event we forgot anything such as toiletries. Welcome pack with some breakfast items and stocked kitchen with spices and seasonings. Easy check in with clear instructions to find the cabin and Ali was friendly and responsive if we needed anything. Log burner and firewood made it super cosy. Bed was very comfortable and had a great sleep. Nothing but great things to say about this stay and I can’t wait to come back. Thank you Ali!
