Argyll Retreat is a cosy timber cabin located in the Argyll Forest Park and Loch Lomond and Trossachs Natiomal Park. It is owned and managed by myself. The lodge is layed out for a couple or solo travellers. Argyll is steeped in history and has miles of coastline, lochs, forests and mountains. The lodge is also a great place to relax. Enjoy. Converted former byre in bucolic surroundings. Located just outside the village of Strachur, it is an ideal stop for anyone walking the Cowal Way and is close to the unexplored mountains of Cowal and the beautiful Loch Eck and Loch Fyne. The little cottage shares a garden with the main house (where I live most of the time) and is set amongst mature trees, rippling burns and abundant wildlife including chirruping birds, red squirrels and pine martens. A lovely place to unwind and relax.

Bright and airy, clean and comfortable, this 3 bedroom mid terrace house is located about 5 minutes walk to Inveraray town centre. The bedrooms (one double, one twin, one single) and shower room are upstairs, with the living room and kitchen/diner on the ground floor. Bedrooms, living room and dining area all have views looking between the trees to Loch Fyne. The patio area and bench is a quiet spot to enjoy the view. Inveraray is about 65 miles west of Glasgow on the A83.
