Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Council Bluffs

Lovely house with everything you can think of, but may have forgot to pack! Beautiful home with a not to be beat location whether you are in town to go to the zoo, need to access the Air Force Base or just want a peaceful spot to stay. Will definitely recommend the house to friends needing a spot to stay in Omaha vicinity.

When we 1st arrived we were a little apprehensive due to being tired and there were several boarded up homes in the area. However, after a good nights sleep we were feeling more comfortable and raring to go. Our 1st stop was the Zoo, spending all day there, only returning home for dinner then out again to walk the Bob Kerrey Bridge. That evening we ventured down the alley to find the Bohemian Restaurant, that is not longer in business but they keep the sign up anyways, LOL, according the the Czech Bar. We spent several hours there talking to the bartender and meet Pam and Bob. So interesting and friendly. Yep we will be back there, for sure. Next day we went to the Lauritzen Gardens, the Durham Museum and walked downtown. Can't say enough about our experience except that when we come back we would stay here. You guys made our stay a memorable one. We have been bragging every since we arrived home. 100% Thank you!

I loved staying here while I was in Omaha! It’s extremely cozy, very peaceful and quiet. It had everything we needed, and was close to many attractions like the Zoo. Maurie was extremely communicative and was readily available if I needed help at all. It was the perfect place to come back to relax after a fun day out, I will definitely be coming back next time I visit!

Wonderful spot located close to everything we needed! We never drove more than 10 minutes to get to a destination like the Zoo or to dinner, or to a great coffee shop! Such a perfect location for a family visiting Omaha.

Isaac's house was a perfect find for my stay in Omaha. It was close to the places I wanted to visit, very clean, spacious, and stylishly renovated. Isaac was a friendly host, and very quick to respond to any questions. Allocated parking to the back of the property, and plenty of space on the street out front. I wish I could have stayed longer.

This house is small but perfect for a small family. We had our own space, a big kitchen to cook in, a living room to relax in and our own bedrooms to chill in! The house smells clean every time you walk in and you can SEE and feel the clean. The house has so many extra amenities. A/C, bathroom supplies, coffee maker with coffee! How lucky was that?! Lisa deserves all 5 stars for this house. The driveway is on an incline and is across the road from a pretty big church. The area is beautiful with a green backyard. Grocery store within a couple miles from house. Would definitely stay again.

The H.Doorly House is a beautiful historic home right next to the nation's best zoo! Everything about the place is fantastic. It's spotless and totally relaxing. You won't be disappointed. The kitchen is stocked with lots of great cookware and plenty of dishes for serving. They provide snacks, coffee, and cold water to make the stay even better. The back deck is private and a great place to enjoy fresh air.

I had such a great experience staying at this Airbnb! The place was spotless, cozy, and exactly as pictured—maybe even better. Everything I needed was available, and the space was thoughtfully set up to make me feel right at home. The location was perfect, with easy access and the neighborhood felt safe and peaceful. The host was incredibly responsive and kind, always quick to answer any questions and made sure everything went smoothly. You can tell they truly care about their guests’ experience. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. Thank you for such a lovely stay!

This was our second stay. our first being only 2 days. We loved the place. One thing that I do need to point out that we did not notice on our 1st trip. Believe me this is the only negative in an otherwise perfect place and may not be a negative for everyone. The TV only has digital rabbit ears and only a handful of channels available and depending on the weather some worked and some didn't. I do like to catch up on news etc on TV and this was not possible. Like I said, this is the only negative and if you're not a TV watcher, not a concern. Everything else is perfect. Highly recommended.

Perfect stay for me! Not too far off hwy, quiet home, lovely apt and spot-on for all needs! Welcoming apt and hosts, dark/quiet bedroom with great bed for a challenged sleeper! Definitely a great find that I will revisit if travel takes me there! Thank you!

Easy and accessible place! Only needed for one night but was very cute! SUPER clean. The wifi wasn’t working, but Federico was responsive to the issue. I would recommend!

Travis provides extensive, clear instructions for parking and check-in as well as helpful details about the space to make everything extremely easy, even when you are arriving later in the evening and tired after a long day on the road. The space itself is small but cozy and well-stocked with essentials.

Luanne & Joe’s place truly is amazing! Plenty of space with 2 bedrooms, full kitchen & bath. Only a 25 min drive from Omaha which is nice if you want to check out the downtown area which has a ton of great restaurants, malls & breweries! 5 star stay for sure :)

Wonderful overnight stop. Interior was beautiful and spotless.

I actually was not able to stay due to illness. So my responses are not quite accurate but I could not write a review without getting thru the options. That being said, my host responses were always timely and very understanding and friendly. I hope I would be able to try again when I'm in the area visiting my friend.

We had a wonderful stay! This was the perfect location for us to walk to a wedding nearby. There were many great restaurants that were walkable. We enjoyed Zen Coffee Company and the Spielbound Board Game Cafe. Fwamay communicated with us about check in and everything was great!

The place was very clean and beautiful. We loved the area and that we could get to nice restaurants at walking distance. Trish was very nice and available, we would definitely stay again.

We come to town every year as vendors for an event. This was so much better than a hotel. Thank you!

Whitney was quick to respond to our needs/questions. House is simple but clean. Parking can be confusing in the back lot and street parking is limited in the evening. Overall met our needs. Would book again.

Great location, we walked pretty much everywhere around old market. Place was nice and as described. Would recommend. I made a mistake getting into the condo for the first time and Mason was very responsive and got us right in.
