Vacation rentals in Pottawattamie County

Absolutely beautiful location on top of a wooded hill with a tiny view of the Omaha skyline twinkling at night far off between other hills; no other houses in sight and total peace and quiet (depending on who is staying with you). Beautiful kitchen has every appliance you could ever wish for. We enjoyed eating at the table on the back patio overlooking the lawn and forest, sitting in the rocking chairs on the front porch in the evenings, and playing the 1/4(?) grand piano. Communication with Hannah was excellent. Any problem that showed up was immediately remedied. We had a delightful family holiday with 9 adults and 3 very young children. Hannah graciously provided a Pack-n-Play, a high chair, and a baby gate to block off the stairs. It is a wonderful place.

We had a wonderful stay at this charming, comfortable bungalow. Three couples had plenty of space, and we all slept well. This was our second stay, and Sara and Steve are pleasant, responsive hosts. We all enjoyed walking around the neighborhood and relaxing on the back porch. Lots of places to eat, shop, and play are nearby. Highly recommended!

The home was very clean and kid friendly. We enjoyed the board games and outdoor toys available. The kids had a great time and it was easy to manage a 5 and 3 year old within the house. Bathrooms, bedrooms, kitchen and living room were spotless and had everything you would need to enjoy evenings after the zoo or any other activities. Will stay again if we come back to the area

This airbnb was definitely in my top 3! I loved the house itself, the location, and the amenities. Hosts were great at responding quickly and were very friendly! I would recommend to anyone and would stay again.

Four couples, it was great. We all had our own space and bathroom. The only downfall we had was there is a hang out space besides the kitchen area. The TV was great for us to watch some football. It is a very unique place but that sure made it fun. Matt responded to our text, even when we accidentally locked ourselves out.

Michaela was friendly, helpful, and very responsive. We mentioned there weren’t many pots/pans and in a few hours there were a whole new set! The house is very clean, quirky in a fun way, and the lake setting with giant fire-pit was so relaxing. The bed upstairs is super comfortable. Note, there are three beds. Two downstairs are single. It worked out great for us. The house is one of the most fun, well stocked, comfy places we’ve stayed. And Michaela is a really gracious host. Easy to talk with. We loved our stay.

Amber went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Her 100 year+ home is in a historic district of Council Bluffs adjacent to the Gilbralter Neighborhood Trailhead. Several of our family members took advantage of its proximity and went hiking during our visit. Her home is a mix of old and new - 19th and early 20th century craftsmanship, such as a beautiful central staircase, combined with 21st century technology such as WiFi, and numerous televisions throughout the expansive home. Fun amenities include a pinball machine and a treadmill for exercise. My family especially enjoyed competing on the pinball machine. Amber’s home was stocked with all sorts of treats ranging from muffins to a charcuterie tray. Whenever we had a question either about something in the home or some activity in the area, Amber was very quick to respond. I’ve stayed in numerous vacation rental properties. This one stands out in all the right ways. I would definitely recommend.

We had a few entry glitches with the key cafe, but Rachelle responded immediately and came right over to help us out! Place was in a great location and perfect for our trip. Thanks to Theresa and Rachelle for a great stay!
