Cabin vacation rentals in Comal County

This place is awesome! Super cute, private (there’s one other unit nearby, but it was empty.) The check in was easy, instructions were detailed and easy to follow. The place itself is beautiful, inside and out. Loved the hot tub and the privacy with it. The location is about a mile from downtown - just don’t expect to walk to the shops. It is a busy road without sidewalks. But still close! They even go the extra mile with preparation, offering to stock groceries or anything else needed. We loved it and would love to stay again some time.

We had a great weekend at Sean’s place. It was quiet and private.

We have a pool at home. Booked this space for the hot tub and enjoyed it both mornings over coffee. 15 min walk over the bridge to shopping and restaurants. Sociable fire pit with neighbors was a lot of fun. Market Days the first Saturday each month is a 5 min drive. Will book again same weekend next year.

This place was so perfect! It was everything they described and so much more! It’s close to town and so peaceful and secluded you felt like you were miles away. The details of all the decorations and the house itself we so perfect! Simply one of the cutest places I’ve ever stayed. I will for sure be back!

David and Athena have done an absolutely amazing job with this place. We came here for our first wedding anniversary, and it exceeded our expectations. David and Athena put thought into every detail, and it shows. Very comfortable, very clean, very peaceful location. David and Athena are also very warm, welcoming hosts. We will definitely be back. Wow this was such a great lay out and space for the square footage. super clean and in short driving distance to many places (HEB, restaurants and Greune). Neel was super responsive and detailed in the arrival notes. Would stay again for sure!

What a special place! This was our ideal retreat to enjoy the hill country with my family and in-laws. Perfectly located 20 mins from Gruene and Wimberley, and even closer to the lake. But the highlight was the stunning home and surrounding views. Every detail was immaculately designed and well stocked for pool time, grilling, or just hanging on the deck. Only small caution is that it’s not easy to watch tiny toddlers who are curious and like to climb everywhere they shouldn’t. I’d book Gabe & Analise’s place again in a heartbeat.

What a beautiful vacation away from the busy city life. This bunkhouse was well equipped for relaxation including a beautiful view, lovely plung pool off the deck and a gorgeous bathtub that you could swim in with a rain shower next to it that was just as luxurious. The beds and linen were comfortable. The refrigerator is on the smaller side, what you’d expect with a bunkhouse but it was adorable. The driveway is 1.5 mile hard packed dirt but very well maintained. There is a plethora of wildlife along the way so keep your eyes open! The hosts are responsive and extremely helpful and nice! Will return again when in the area!

I really like the place. It is beautiful clean and very modern. I do recommend guests to bring your own shampoo and shower gel because theirs are small and hard to squeeze them out. I also recommend the host should get a small stool for small kids to reach the faucet to wash hands. Other than that, I would give 10 stars I could. Thanks a lot!

Bren and her team were wonderful hosts of this cozy and inviting home in a beautiful setting. Extremely peaceful and private, the cabin was well-organized with many thoughtful details and everything one needed to relax. Walking trials right outside the door were well marked and a key part of our stay. I would definitely stay here again on a future visit.

Our hosts were the best out of all my experiences dealing with air bnb’s! They made our stay easy and were there when we needed them if something came up! I would highly recommend the horse thief inn to any friends and family as well as any of their other places they have to stay in. We hope to come back and visit in our future!
