Boutique hotel vacation rentals in Comal County

Hotel Flora and Fauna is beautiful and spotless. It’s very private, yet not far from town. Comfortable bedding with many amenities. Our turntable wasn’t working and although my host didn’t respond after privately messaging. The wonderful lady at the grounds replaced the turntable needle and we were able to enjoy some wonderful vinyls. It was pretty cold, so the pool wasn’t an option, but we look forward to visiting in summer to enjoy it. Again, it is beautiful…

This place was probably the best I stayed in during my road trip within the Hill Country. Most comfy bed for sure (for firm mattress lover which I am). Very clean. Kathryn has been super reactive when I needed (small issue with the digital locker, she immediately answered over the phone and explained me how to solve this). Location is great, few minutes walking from main area with restaurants, etc... The only real issue I had was finding the property: the entrance is located on a very busy road + the fact that despite the details they provided on the colour of the house which were very accurate, it is easy to get confused (I turned first on the wrong property so I had to re-enter the road and do a loop to try another time). I would maybe suggest if possible putting a signal with the name of the property to help future guests find the entrance of the right parking lot :) Otherwise, it was perfect and I would definitely come back for future trips in Wimberley !

This place is adorable, clean, perfectly situated right outside the hubbub of town. The area makes you feel like you are in your own little oasis and I will definitely be back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here!! Walking distances to downtown Wimberley which was really nice as we could park and walk everywhere. Great location!! We really enjoyed the spa at night (not warm enough for the pool, for us) and the pool area was kept clean. The room was well done. Clean and the attention to detail was impressive. We stayed in a room that allowed dogs, which the host provided a water and feed bowl, puppy pads, poop bags, dog bed, and treats. Everything else from check-in, etc. was easy. We’d highly recommend and come back.

Kathryn was a lovely host - very informative and quick to reply. The unit I rented was comfortable and larger than I imagined! The location was AWESOME - so close to restaurants and all of the great Wimberly shops. If you haven't been to Wimberly on a Friday before, the car traffic is high and there aren't a lot of places to park in their "downtown"/dining and shopping center. Staying at Katherine's Airbnb was truly the most convenient location for walking, without embarking on a hike, and without getting a headache from trying to find parking. I will say, heading North on Hwy 12 to get into town, I accidentally drove past the Airbnb at first. It was tucked away more than I expected, but that's ok. I appreciate that Kathryn mention the construction happening on the property before I arrived. I look forward to returning when everything is complete! Thank you!

Beautiful condo very close to Gruene Hall. Coffee shop nearby was excellent, resterants were amazing, and the bars were fun. Highly recommend.

This place was really cute and conveniently located. Very cute area. It was even nicer than what the pics showed. The place had plenty of room and everything you needed. I would definitely stay here again. My only complaint would be the light coming through the blinds from the buildings behind it. We did rent the golf cart which made it very easy to get around.Thanks Julie for such a nice place to stay!!

Evanna was a great host and the space was perfect for us. She recommended dinner and breakfast spots that were walkable and great. We had a great stay and would highly recommend!
