Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Colico

I had a truly wonderful stay! The house was beautiful, full of charming antique details and decorated with great taste — every corner had something lovely to look at. It was clean, quiet, and very comfortable. The check-in process was smooth and easy, and the host was incredibly kind, welcoming, and thoughtful. You can feel how much care and love have gone into this home. I felt completely at ease during my stay, and I would come back again. Thank you for everything!

Casa Sarina is very nice and quietly located and has a fantastic view of Lake Lugano. In the village of Carona there is a small kiosk that provides everything for everyday needs. For larger purchases, however, you have to drive down the serpentine road to the valley. From the property you can either walk directly or after a short drive take wonderful walks through Vico Morcote to Morcote or to Monte San Salvatore. The place was very clean and as described by the landlord. Markus and Anna are very loving hosts and enriched our stay with many tips. We would choose this accommodation again any time.

My husband and I had the pleasure of staying in this accommodation for the second time. It was a wonderful vacation again. It is a peaceful haven in a beautiful and quiet place. You feel at home there very quickly. Everything is quickly accessible on foot, by public transport or with your own vehicle. Lots of opportunities for walks, tours and hikes are easily accessible. Barbara is an attentive and caring host, thank you again for hosting us. We are already thinking about our next visit...

Very dear hosts, we felt very welcome and very comfortable from the first moment. Inside and outside, it is very comfortable and lovingly furnished, we lacked nothing. Great that it also has two bikes. We loved it, also the location, perfect for various excursions or just sitting in the garden under the pergola and relaxing. We will be happy to come back. Naomi's cottage in the forest is a dream! Equipped with everything you need, even to cook for yourself, and beautifully located. Naomi was super sweet and even provided us with a small welcome gift! All in all, a wonderful place to Relax, explore Lugano and its surroundings or the surrounding mountains! I'm sure we'll be back!

This very nice Chalet (which might have been an old Rustico) is in a really prime location, with magnifincient views over the lake and the mountains. The location is very quiet, also as it is at the end of a tiny private road. The house is well-equiped, and well prepared for us. We are a family with 2 small kids (5 and 11), who enjoyed the views, the garden and the wild life (especially the lizards) all around the house. Highly recommended. We will be back.

The place is lovely and just as it looks in the pictures. We were traveling with four kids, and the house was spacious enough to meet all our needs. Parking in the village can be a bit challenging but you can always find a spot after a short wait of 10-15 minutes when someone leaves. There are several hiking trails around including a beautiful waterfall that's about an hour's walk from the house. The outdoor area features a grill and has a spectacular view, making it a peaceful and beautiful spot to relax. Jacqueline, our host, was very nice and helpful, living in the same house downstairs. We experienced some issues with the electricity failing a few times when the washing machine and oven were in use; however, with some care to avoid simultaneous usage, we could avoid this. Additionally, the Wi-Fi was a bit weak, and the 4/5G coverage was spotty in the area. Overall, it is a wonderful place with a supportive host, making it an excellent choice for a stay in the Como Lake area.

Piero and Nadia are excellent hosts ensuring our stay went very smoothly. We particularly enjoyed sitting on the terrace taking in the view, and in the evening watching the sun go down.

The ancient village of Carona has a lot of charm and is worth a visit! ❗Note for those interested: From the apartment you have no lake view, which should therefore be considered for stays in winter or in bad weather. Divine experience! My family and I just spent a regenerating weekend in Andrea's house, we really needed it in this period of chaos, we didn't want to leave anymore, especially my girls! We hope to return in winter to experience it from another perspective!😃

I just want to take a moment to express my sincere gratitude for the warm hospilality during our stay. We felt incredibly welcome throughout our visit, the warmth made our time truly special. We enjoyed the fresh tomatoes, pepper and the egg from the garden. Thank you for this memorable vacation and we will come back again one day.

Renato’s apartment is a perfect base of operations to explore Bellagio, Pescallo, Villa Melzi and San Giovanni (all less than a 25 minutes walk). The house itself is very well appointed and very suitable for a family (including games for the kids). As the house is on a hill opening the windows will quickly cool down the house. It’s a little bit outside downtown Bellagio in a quiet neighborhood. There is a nice private garden and the house is surrounded by lemon trees. Last but not least, Renato is a superb host. Extremely helpful, easily accessible and always happy to make a suggestion for a restaurant or a place to visit.

Leonardo was always responsive and helpful. The only draw back was the transport links around Lake Como as buses and ferries finish quite early in the evening and taxis are also not very reliable. Leo was very good and sent us all the transport timetables and ferry information but I’d highly recommended getting a car if you’re wanting to explore a few places. Otherwise plan your route and getting home in advance.

We have been several times at Andres’ place and it has always been perfect - also this time. We will come again.

Stunning place. Definition of an amazing view. Absolute quiet and remote place and yet 10mins to Lidl.

We really enjoyed staying at the charming Rustico. Especially with our young dog, it was perfect with the garden. We'll be back. 😊

The stay with Devid and Fabio was wonderful. The cottage is tastefully and modernly furnished, the beds are comfortable. There is a nice rain shower and the kitchen contains everything you need. But, the best thing is the view of Lake Como. What a beautiful panorama that is a little different every day. In the red book, Devid and Fabio have collected a lot of practical information and ideas for excursions, we have visited a number of them: without exception successful. In addition, Devid gave us all kinds of good advice and guided us well in the process of arrival and departure. We felt very welcome. Thank you very much for that.

Staying there was amazing, you have so much nature surrounding you, getting there is a little tricky but with the right car is all worth it! Andrea was really friendly and the place was clean and just like the pictures! Would definitely go again!

A beautiful place in the middle of the woods – highly recommended! Alois welcomed us very warmly and was always helpful. He gave us all the important information, so we immediately felt comfortable. The cottage is lovingly furnished and ideal for unwinding and enjoying nature. I'm sure we'll be back!

Mountain house surrounded by nature with breathtaking views that, alone, is worth the asking price for the stay. The house is spacious (we were in 5 adults) and has everything you need for a peaceful and pleasant stay. The two wood-burning fireplaces available are more than enough to heat the spaces in a short time and give a timeless atmosphere. Mario is an extraordinary host: responsive, very kind and available. The directions and instructions you gave us on the different roads to get to the house were clear, real and useful. In short: I recommend everyone to stay in Mario's house, you will not be disappointed!!

Exceptional host, exceptional place! We loved our stay in Wild Field Lodge and, as hosts ourselves, greatly appreciated the thoughtful amenities available throughout the property. We are a family of 4 with 2 kids under 5, and so it’s tricky to find accommodations that are actually relaxing, let alone loaded with toys and kid entertainment. This place is serene, fun, well equipped, and beautiful. The host’s communication and generosity were outstanding. You can feel the love invested in this property, and that makes for a very special life experience. Highly recommend!
