We spent 3 days on New Year's Eve 2025. Three families with kids. We had a great time. Lara welcomed us warmly at check-in and gave us all the directions to better manage the house, including a stove, jacuzzi and Finnish tub. Clean and complete environments. Super equipped kitchen and bathrooms. Spotless and comfortable rooms. Various children's games and books for moments of relaxation; availability of Sky, Netflix and Disney+. Wood and barbecue available. Priceless view of Lake Como from one side and the mountain on the other side. Great location: quite isolated to be quiet and not to bother anyone but still 5 minutes from the center of the village; less than 10 minutes away we found a very well-stocked shopping center. Really great and recommended experience, to try again in summer with the possibility of also using the outdoor pool. GREAT

It‘s a cosy and quiet house at the edge of the village. The place is not too far up the valley and so even easy to get to by public transportation. For me, it was a perfect fit. Alessandro and Paola were right next door and available. Very friendly hosts!

We loved Danilo’s place! Perfect spot — amazing view, great restaurant next door & gelato too! We will definitely be back. A bit hard to find (GPS took us to another address) but we eventually found it. Thank you Danilo for being such a great host as well!

A charming house, located in a perfect location in contact with nature. Luca was an exceptional guest, always kind, helpful and quick to respond. A truly fascinating city, waiting to be discovered. Luca also left us many useful tips for visiting the area: we tried the restaurant L’Oca d 'Oro, where the sandwiches were really delicious and at a great price. A beautiful and cozy place.

Nicola, the owner's son, was very nice. He always helped us with questions. We have two points that were not quite great for us, on the one hand the location. The little streets up to Segna are really hard to master for a big car and secondly the fireplace was broken on the first two days. That was really cold at the end of September without another heat source, but Nicola quickly fixed it. Otherwise, everything was really great!

"A magical place" ✨ Alois is a welcoming and caring host, very responsive and available before and during the stay. His place is very well arranged, tidy and clean, it fully matches the description of the listing. The photos made available on the construction of the chalets made us discover the progress of the work, the beauty and therefore the merit of the 5 stars⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️, Bravo! We were surrounded by trees 🌳 and mountains as far 🏔 as the eye can see, it's just beautiful to see. It is a peaceful, quiet, relaxing and disconnecting place for everything you were looking for. Not to mention the spectacle of setting and sunrise over the cottage every day with its large balcony and large bay windows... really soothing! There is the possibility to walk easily, to visit the Sessa gold mine, to eat in restaurants in the nearest city without any worries. I would recommend it closed! Thank you Alois

Authentically renovated rustic house, where we felt very comfortable even on rainy days. The property is equipped with everything you need. The house warms up quickly with the wood-burning stove and is very comfortable. Hosts Sandro and Petra are extremely helpful. The location in Selma is centrally located in the valley and is a good starting point for hikes or family time on the river. We will be happy to come back.

The two of us and our dog enjoyed the time very much. The Rustiko is beautifully located, surrounded by great nature, overlooking the mountain range opposite. The house is well furnished, modern and has it all. We climbed the Matro and were able to enjoy the Strada Alta with its magnificent forests and gorges. At night we heard deer and could see the stars in clear weather. If we had any questions, Riccardo from the neighboring house was helpful and could help us, but privacy was always given. We had an unforgettable week. Highly recommended for those seeking peace and nature. Thank you very much.

Simone's house is even more beautiful than in the pictures, the location is fantastic, quiet, in the middle of nature and the view simply magnificent. We felt very comfortable during the week. Simone is very warm and open-minded and provided us with a number of good tips. You can find pure relaxation here and still get to the highlights on the lake quickly on foot.

There were five of us. There was enough room for everyone. Very quiet and distant location just like we wanted it. The view is unparalleled. Great opportunities for hiking. Easily accessible by car although everything is on the mountain. Everything clean, enough wood for heating, gas stove, grill used. 👍 If you are looking for a very quiet and distant place, highly recommended.

Really friendly and helpful guests. The house is also comfortable for 4 people. Small but with everything you need. Just outside the center and next to the river, with a beautiful garden. The only thing is there is a little descent to enter and perhaps with so much snow for young children it would be difficult, but I think the owners have it cleaned.

A little paradise in the Ticino mountains!!! We were allowed to enjoy a fantastic time high above Lake Maggiore and far away from the big hustle and bustle on the Cimetta. Even the arrival is unique, with a gondola and chairlift you can reach the Cimetta mountain station in a half hour, from where you can walk to the house in 10 minutes. The beautiful little cottage is well equipped and invites you to relax. It has everything you need on site. The kitchen is very well furnished, even basic food such as spices, oil and vinegar are available. We were able to prepare delicious menus, which we enjoyed at the typical Ticino stone table in front of the house and stayed well-protected until late at night. The fantastic view and the sweet highland cattle, which graze in front of the house make the place special special. Prisca is a great Superhost! She is very eager to make the stay for her guests as possible. For our 1 year old family member she even brought up a cot, high chair, as well as baby crockery and toys. Thank you so much for everything, dear Prisca. We would love to come back!!!

Wonderfully located right on the edge of the forest to feel comfortable. Plenty of space in the house and garden. We really enjoyed the very quiet location with great views of the Lago and the surrounding mountains. The nearest larger places can be reached in a few minutes by car including a supermarket, restaurants, weekly market. There were six of us and there was plenty of room for everyone's needs. No creaking beds or floorboards - we slept very well! Very well equipped kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine and two bathrooms. For us, it was an all-round beautiful neighborhood, which we can highly recommend.

We had a wonderful 5 night stay in this beautifully restored cottage right in the centre of the village. The cottage is really clean and comfortable and has everything you need to feel at home for a great stay. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony taking in the spectacular views. The heating was brilliant and we loved having wood for the fire. The hosts were super helpful and check in was very easy with clear instructions. The village is peaceful and there are some beautiful walks to do as well a great museum to visit to learn about the history of the valley. We met some great local people. We’d love to stay again!

The accommodation and Michela are simply great. It is just important that you are aware of a few points. The accommodation is not in Como City. They is above Como on a hill. The roads to the accommmodation are narrow and rocky. The accommodation is located in the forest and animals also live there. Some of them are active at night. It is the perfect place for guests who just want to switch off and enjoy nature and don't need 5G net. I would not recommend this place for city people. A huge thank you again to Michela for the wonderful time. The little boy also really enjoyed it. He still talks about this vacation every day. We hope of a next time with you and your dogs. Our stay at Nadia's place was awesome. Beside the special location in the middle of mountains it had a fire pit as well, which was a great atmosphere for the night. The communication, the service and all the little things and gifts that were laying around did the rest for making such a beautiful and welcoming home. Erica and her family are excellent hosts - very warm and helpful! The studio is beautifully decorated and in full harmony with the village. You are right in the middle of the picturesque village and feel the authentic atmosphere of the area. Perfectly equipped, also for staying with children. Shopping, beach, hiking trails are very close. We enjoyed a wonderful, relaxing Pentecost weekend and would love to return!

Check-in instructions are clear and precise. Free parking is always available. The house is beautiful, all amenities are available (towels, kitchenware, dishes, condiments). The terrace is well appointed and the sauna is lovely. The surroundings have a lot of activities, both in terms of nightlife and outdoor activities. There were 9 of us, I would highly recommend it.
