Places to stay in Clayton

We were on a four day road trip and this was one of our stops for rest. We got that. Nice place. I liked the exposed plumbing! We were super exhausted and I wanted to watch some TV but had to do a streaming connection and I just wanted to turn it on and use the TV remote. So no TV. I’m not lazy, was just very tired 🙂. The climate control worked perfectly. Kitchen area was small but good. Wish we could have enjoyed the patio but it was late and like I said we were beat. Otherwise we would have. I would stay again.

We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. Brand new. Clean. We knew ahead of time that there wasn’t a lot of activities available which was perfect for our stay. However if you enjoy walking, reading, or playing games you will find something to do. Games and books provided. It’s out in the country near the National Grasslands. Cameron & Julia went out of their way to accommodate us. Very friendly family. Definitely would go back.

I travel to Clayton often to visit family and usually stay in hotels - but not anymore--I'm staying here!

the energy at this place is amazing, every little detail and thing curated by hand. its artistic and unique, definitely worth staying here. if you are visiting diansour track or volcano this is a perfect spot to make a stop overnight. grocery store and Pizza Hut is literally few steps away from home along with Tesla charging station.

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy Airbnb! Everything was thoughtfully prepared, from the snacks to the well-equipped fireplace and grill. Although, we didn’t utilize the backyard it would be a great spot to unwind and hang out. Their request for light cleanup is totally reasonable, especially given their effort to keep the home affordable. We truly appreciate their kindness and care. Thank you Craig & Debbie.

Great place to stay when driving to Colorado! It was convenient that it was literally on the highway so I could continue on my route. And, the highway noise was not bad at all. I slept through it just fine. The place looked better than the pictures! It was spacious and had everything I needed. The host was very responsive. And, the town is very small, but I liked that. Lovely place!

Cesar’s place was perfect for what we needed. Only stayed one night while traveling through but it was great.

This is a great little cottage. I had a very comfortable stay for one night. Plenty space in the rooms. I would happily stay here again.

Nice stay. Not much at all in Clayton, but the location was convenient right off the highway.
