We had a great time staying here! It’s a short walk up to the Timberline run, and very easy to ski all the way back to the house. The house felt cozy and comfortable with a big open kitchen/living room area that was perfect for our group. Would stay again!

The Mad House

PaulRating, 5 stars2 months ago
A perfect location for a group of skiers/snowboarders since Sugarbush and Mad River Glen ski resorts are within a few minutes drive. The best restaurant in the area, Hyde Away, is just a block away. A unique place like you stepped back in time. All the beds were comfortable. Great having three bathrooms. Loved the foosball table! Again, great location for the area. We'll be back next ski season.

Entire Home Near Smuggler’s Notch w/ Amazing Views

NickRating, 5 stars3 months ago
Annie was helpful and proactive from the minute we booked this home. She reached out to offer advice on finding the driveway, parking in icy conditions (which was worth its weight in gold) and left a check-in book full of instructions. The location is great with a stunning view of the mountains and just a 15 minute drive from Smuggler’s Notch. I would absolutely stay here again!

Chalet with mtn. views & game room

TaraRating, 5 stars3 months ago
Cozy cottage with well appointed kitchen. Property manager Diane is very responsive. They are lucky to have her! Place was incredibly clean. Diane even called to offer us to come a day early to avoid the storm. When the storm foiled some of our plans she also offered to stay an extra night. Unfortunately the plow service did not come the AM after the storm and our 4 WD car couldn’t make it up the steep driveway. The wonderful neighbors even came to help but we all had to give up. The plow eventually came. I’m sure they were overworked the last 36 hours. Storm also kept chair lifts at Smuggs closed one day so we ended up making good use of the game room and kids - teens :) - actually loved playing in the snow in the yard. Would highly recommend - definitely make sure you have 4 WD and even consider chains if a storm is coming. Or just be prepared to hike the driveway (which isn’t a bad walk).

SKI HOUSE Ski in/ski out..Sleep in!

Richard Michael JrRating, 5 stars2 months ago
This place evokes all of my fond memories of growing up in New England and doing weekend family ski trips to small, but picturesque, resorts in Vermont and New Hampshire. Lars' place gave me the opportunity to share that experience with my Florida-born children and Texas- born and raised wife, and they absolutely loved it. Cookie-cutter condos and base hotels just don't measure up to this quaint mountainside home that has everything you need for a memorable ski vacation. I would characterize the ski slope access to be ski in/ski out- ish as there is a little bit of a walk to the nearest trail, but nothing arduous and definitely better than having to deal with parking and carrying gear back and forth from the base lodge.

4BR Mad River Valley Chalet w/ View, Close to All

DiaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Nestled amidst picturesque landscapes, this cozy retreat perfectly blended rustic charm with modern amenities. The accommodation was a charming house, tastefully decorated with both rustic and contemporary elements. The interior was warm and inviting, featuring a spacious living area, a well-equipped kitchen, and a comfortable bedroom. The kitchen was stocked with essential cooking supplies, and the living room had a cozy fireplace. There was also a fire stove in the backyard, allowing us to enjoy a contained campfire experience. The host was incredibly attentive, providing detailed information about the local area and recommendations. Their prompt responses to any queries ensured a smooth and hassle-free experience. A short drive away, we discovered quaint villages with artisanal shops, farm-to-table restaurants, and historic landmarks. I highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone looking to explore the natural beauty of Vermont while enjoying the comforts of a home away from home.

Adam’s place was perfect for our family ski weekend. Firstly, Adam was incredibly responsive before and during our stay- providing us with details about the space as well as helping to facilitate when we needed to make changes to our plans. The house was charming and cozy and perfectly located a short walk from the snowflake trail for access to the mountain. The fireplace was so cozy after long days of cold runs!
