Beachfront vacation rentals in Chittenden County

Great house if you want to be right on the lake. We used the dock for our rental boat and had a beautiful day on the water. Anne was amazingly responsive and very generous with welcome gifts.

We had a wonderful time at Ben's place. It's rustic but in the most charming kind of way.... beautiful location right on the lake with all the comforts of home. Ben was very communicative as a host. We had one small issue during our stay and he responded quickly and we were able to take care of it with no problem. We even saw a bald eagle fly right in front of us while we were there and that was the icing on the cake!

Absolutely gorgeous lake access. We enjoyed the community and local businesses. Mostly we took advantage of the lake activities

We had two perfect spring days. The cottage was a perfect place for us to explore from.

This is the Adirondack charm, but with much clear beds and kitchen ware. All you need. We will be back.

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy cabin on Lake Champlain! The views were absolutely stunning, especially at sunrise and sunset. The cabin was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed. As others have mentioned, the cabin is close to the road on one side as stated in the description, but in our opinion was balanced out by the beautiful view and comfort of the home overall. Bill was also very responsive to the questions that we had. Will hope to come back again soon.

Our second year renting Jeff’s place and it was just as great as the previous. As always, Jeff is a responsive host and is very timely in getting back to us. The house is still great, a few new updates were nice like the new stove. And like previous year, you can’t beat the views! 5/5 thanks Jeff and Family!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Laura's place! It was perfect for a small family getaway. The only disappointment was that the weather did not cooperate enough to try out the cozy fire pit. We enjoyed sunrise from the living room and morning walks for coffee and bagels. Would definitely recommend.

Our stay was amazing! We were moving our daughter into her dorm at UVM and were in Burlington for a week. We decided to stay here rather than a hotel near campus. It was the best decision ever. Jack and Robin’s cottage was the perfect place to prepare for dorm move-in. We were able to get out and explore the area. The sunrises over Lake Champlain were beautiful while we drank our morning coffee. Walks on the causeway were great for watching sunsets. 10/10 will stay here again when we visit our daughter at UVM. Go Catamounts!

This has been one of the best places we have ever stayed. Terry and Larry were great hosts, very proactive in reaching out and making sure we were enjoying our stay. The cottage, while small, was perfect for the two of us. We selected the cottage based on our desire to relax while in VT -- to spend time hiking, biking, kayaking, reading, painting, etc. The location offered excellent space and access to all we wanted to do in VT. The cottage faces east with outstanding lake and mountain views. We turned two chairs around to face out the window and spent hours just looking out, taking in the view, and talking. Perfect! To the extent possible, we prefer to prepare our meals while traveling and the kitchen area (along with the outside grill) provided all we needed to prepare excellent meals (while still enjoying the lake/mountain view). Really a great 10-day stay!

Lovely home and would 100% visit again. The porch sitting over Lake Champlain is one of a kind - we saw many of the surrounding properties from the water during our time in Essex and I don’t think there’s another porch in town with that type of water view - can’t beat it! We spent 10 days in late August with our 3 yr old daughter and some grandparents in/out over the course of the visit. The home was perfect for our getaway. The hosts, Lisa and John were flexible and welcoming. The space had everything we needed for our stay - kitchen was great and we cooked many meals at home. The open kitchen/dining/living floor plan is perfect for spending time together and so cozy… all alongside an unbeatable view.

Perfect place for our multi-generational family to stay for our son's UVM graduation week. Spacious, exceptionally clean, updated, bright and cheery home with every amenity we needed for our stay. Bedrooms all nicely sized and well appointed. Clean bathrooms, well stocked, spacious kitchen and little extras throughout the home. Located on the bay side of the street, the views of Malletts Bay and beyond are exceptional and made our stay all the more special. Witnessing a stunning sunset on graduation night, bird-watching as we had our morning coffee (coffee compliments of the provided Keurig), and enjoying what both outdoor and indoor spaces had to offer otherwise have made for great memories. Loved the safe, comfortable location and close proximity to Burlington, Essex (graduation venue) and other surrounding towns. Finally, so grateful for Brian's attentiveness and kindness. (Thank you, Brian, for basket of treats AND a table decorated with grad fare & gift!). Hope to stay again.

James is a wonderful and knowledgable host who is willing to do whatever is needed to improve guest experience. He was incredibly responsive to any questions or requests and was very courteous and friendly. As other guests have mentioned, he offered to go out and pick up some food for me when I first arrived. I was fortunate to have a few conversations with James about Essex and the history of his AirBnB during my stay, and I really appreciated how informative and kind he is to guests.

This is such a beautiful property, and the hosts are amazing. They were super friendly and helpful, and they shared a lot of local insight. The house is clean and quiet, and the view is phenomenal. We paddled on Lake Champlain right from the back yard and enjoyed amazing sunsets most every night. This is our second visit, and we hope to come back again. It's a wonderful space!

Beautiful winter weekend getaway house for our group of seven adult friends. Very comfortable even in the frigid cold of the season, beautifully decorated and super clean. Handsomely appointed kitchen with a good variety of cooking tools and pots and pans, and spices, which we really appreciated. Solid internet and TV in all rooms, very nice sound system in the living room and nice digital fireplaces to talk around. Plenty of seating of all sorts and in all places (like a chair convention 😂) Comfy beds in all rooms, even the bunk beds. We didn’t venture out to play on the property due to the weather but it also looks like it would be a fantastic home to enjoy the surroundings and nature any time of year. I hope we can return! Thank you!

On our last day we saw a spectacular sunset which was indicative of our whole stay. The star was of course the wonderful setting on the lake. It was enhanced by how tastefully the house was renovated, decorated and fully supplied with everything we needed. It truely exceeded our expectations and made for a memorable experience in the beautiful state of Vermont.

We absolutely LOVED our stay at this beautiful property! We visited over the Easter Holiday and opted to stay in and cook instead of going out,just to enjoy the beautiful home over looking Lake Champlain! We attended Mass at St. Ann's in Milton, a very welcoming, beautiful church. The hot tub on the third floor balcony was amazing!! The master bedroom had huge walk in closets to stay organized during our trip. It is peaceful, relaxing home! A nice area to take a walk or ride a bike. This is a very clean, well equipped property. The host was very responsive and friendly! Milton has a very nice locally owned grocery store, Georgia Market, everything you could need was available at this family owned store, it felt great to support the local economy! We will definitely be back! Thank you Errin!

I was looking for a place that felt like “home away from home” since we were meeting our daughter and son-in-law for a New England fall weekend. This place absolutely met those expectations. We were able to prepare a meal together and share it at a lovely table in front of a fire. These are the type of things that are important to me, and this definitely felt like home. There is no higher compliment that I can give. The owners were super responsive. I would come back, for sure, and would recommend this beautiful lake front cabin.

Wonderful lakeside cabin tucked away down hard-packed gravel roads. Huge screened in outdoor dining area, and huge patio with grill. Cozy living room with wood fireplace. Beautiful bedrooms. Quiet cove you’ll surely want to go float in. Walk to tennis and basketball court in one minute. Games and puzzles. Hugh chefs island for serious food preparation. Well stocked kitchen. Gracious, responsive host. Birdsong throughout the day and frog symphony throughout the night under the stars. Loved this place!

This was an awesome lake house! We really enjoyed how there was a BBQ for grilling, a fire pit for marshmallow roasting, and washer and dryer for laundry. Check-in instructions were clear and there was a book with details like the wifi and local recommendations. Check-out was super easy as well. We only had to send one or two messages through out the entire trip. Would love to stay here again.

We had a great time staying at Kylie’s lake house. I would definitely book again if I travel that way again.

Gorgeous lake views, the house met our expectations, was well stocked and the host was very responsive when we needed to communicate. Would visit again in a heartbeat!
