This was our first trip to Vermont, and all we can say is we will absolutely be back and staying with Lara in the future. She was so attentive to everything, from the non-scented sheets to providing gluten free food options was so nice. We felt welcomed, and loved all of the recommendations she gave for the area. We can’t wait to visit again, hopefully come summer time!

This was our second time staying with Karyl and Bob at their beautiful home. They are such lovely, gracious hosts who make all their guests feel so welcomed and at home. Our room was spacious and super clean. The breakfast spread is incredibly generous and delicious. It's an easy 30 minute drive to downtown Burlington, and there are many beautiful, public natural areas to explore close to their home. And the view of Lake Champlain and the Adirondack Mountains is spectacular!

As many other reviewers have mentioned, Deborah was a lovely host, full of interesting stories and helpful suggestions. She was also very accommodating to late arrivals (not ours) and our tandem bike (she kindly allowed us to put it in the garage). Breakfast was delicious, with fresh fruit, organic maple yogurt, granola, an assortment of local breads (toasted or made into French toast) and jams, and eggs made to order! The location was convenient to the best parts of Burlington (waterfront, bike path, Church St.). We particularly appreciated the beautiful water pitcher and glasses in the room and the variety of Earth-friendly products in the bathroom. As long as you are aware that you’re staying in one of two rented bedrooms, with a shared bathroom, in someone’s house (a beautiful old Victorian), where the host also lives (as is clearly explained in the listing), you will thoroughly enjoy your stay!

We made a last minute decision to ski at Sugarbush and after some searching selected the Mad River Inn for two couples. We selected an option for two rooms. When we arrived Susannah offered an alternative arrangement with two separated rooms each with access to a bathroom at the same rate we booked. This was very thoughtful and appreciated. She recommended options for dinner and showed us around the beautiful and historic Inn giving some history and interesting background. We enjoyed a game of billiards in the game room. In the morning she prepared omelets for breakfast. There was also an impressive selection of teas and coffee. There were many nice touches; comfortable beds, rooms each decorated with beautiful antiques, home baked snacks, cold picture of fruited water and more. We highly recommend this stop, and will come back with a larger group in the future.

Karyl has hosting down to a perfection! We were late arrival in Karyl was up waiting for us. Their house is perfectly clean and was beautifully decorated for Christmas! The lake views were amazing. She had breakfast waiting for my daughter and I when we came downstairs. They had some great local recommendations for us. Would stay again. Thank you Karyl!

Smita and her husband were very kind and understanding of the peculiar circumstances of my visit. After a long trying day, they kindly offered some of the delicious home-cooked meal they had just prepared. The mornings are busy in their household but that made it feel like I was in a friend's or family member's home. Once their morning activities are over, the place was so very quiet. The neighborhood is exclusively residential and perfect for jogging or walking. Neighbors are seen walking their dogs all the time. Sparky, their family dog, was friendly from the get go and was a balsam to my achy heart as I had lost the last of my dogs just the day before my trip. Sparky napped on my bed more than a couple of occasions and he seemed to know I needed some dog love. He sat with me on the front porch one sunny morning to just relax end enjoy the colors of the trees. Just a regular household. Smita offered great advice for me to share with my partner who's relocating to the area.

Else and Brady were fantastic hosts. They were kind and welcoming and their air bnb is quaint and picturesque. They also keep it very clean and provide great amenities. They know how to make a place feel like a home away home. I booked an extra night because I was so impressed. I would definitely stay here again in the future.

We are very grateful to the hosts for the recommendations, the nice conversations, good breakfast, the fire and Music. This place is so beautiful! Right on the water with amazing sunset views, comfortable beds, stocked kitchen, and great spaces to lounge. Sara was very helpful and responsive. The only downside is that we didn’t come in the summer to be able to enjoy the dock and swimming. Great spot, wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you!
