Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Chautauqua Lake

The house was very spacious and had 3 really nice bathrooms. Common areas had a lot of space and we never felt like we were tripping over each other. Perfect place for quality family time and enjoying the beauty of the lake!

I have stayed here before & will absolutely stay here again whenever I’m in town! Perfect location, great quiet neighborhood, the house is cute & cozy. David & Katie are awesome hosts, I would recommend them to anyone staying in the area!

Kathleen’s home was perfect! We felt comfortable from the beginning. It was well stocked with extras. A great place to visit with an elderly person, or someone with limited physical abilities. There was only two steps, and a walk in shower! I can’t wait to return when the weather is nicer so we can see the beach.

Brian’s place is one of our favorite places to stay away from home. This was our second stay and hoping for more. There is a lot of space in the home and the surroundings are beautiful!

This was our second time staying at Claire's House in Bemus Point, NY. There are eight in our party with a dog. All the instructions and communications were clear and helpful. The layout of the house is great for our group. We can spread out in different rooms on the first floor and the bedrooms and baths are spacious, clean and nicely decorated. We are hoping to schedule soon for Thanksgiving 2025, Two families are from the Berkshires in Western MA and one from Indianapolis. Claire' s home is conveniently in the middle. Bemus Point is very walkable. Bustling in the summer and quiet in winter. There are several places to eat even in winter. No driving necessary.

Chad and Tonya's place was amazing and even better than the photos. Beautiful and private property. We came here for a winter weekend, and it was very peaceful. The place was clean, and the amenities were accurately described in the listing. The whole experience, including communication and check-in, makes it one of the best Airbnbs I've stayed in. We would definitely stay here again.

Aimee and Steve are great hosts. They are very responsive to every question. Easy check in and checkout process. The house is clean had everything we needed. We stayed here for snowmobiling. This house is a great location for that. It is just off a main trail. You can ride right from the yard to the trail. We had our dogs with us. There was 2 ft. of snow on the ground and the owners shoveled a path to the fenced portion of the yard and also shoveled an area for the dogs inside the fence. Plenty of space for relaxing after a long day of riding. We will be back again!

My siblings and I thoroughly enjoyed the cottage. But more important, my mother who usually finds something that is not quite right, didn't find anything. It is so important to have our mother enjoy everything, so we loved that she did. We found so many nice kitchen items available and didn't need a thing in the kitchen. And the fleece blanket supply kept my mom warm. (the place is the perfect temperature; she is always cold.) We had enough room for our two CRVs and didn't have any issues getting in or out of the neighborhood. We wish we were coming back in 2025 but our family reunion is not at the lake so we hope to return to this cottage in 2026. THANK YOU

We had the best vacation with wonderful memories. The most important part of our vacation was having a place to enjoy with our older dog who loves to swim. This may be our last summer with him and coming to Higbys was the best decision. They directed us immediately to the swimming area for him and it was perfect. Everyone was so friendly and went out of their way. Thank you for one of the best vacations. The memories will last a lifetime!

Our stay was wonderful! Great place for both adults and kids. Patti’s descriptions were extremely accurate. So many games and activities to do right at the home. One of the cleanest Airbnbs I have seen too!

We planed a LAST moment trip with our family. We had a group of 4 adults and 4 kids of multiple ages and we ALL had an amazing time and comfortable stay. We love Bemus point as a location and went and enjoyed walks around town and the sunset. Debbie was an absolute pleasure and a very gracious host. We loved her dog as well and will definitely book here again.

Wonderful place!! Home has all amenities with huge full windows & high ceilings overlooking the lake in a great small community of 50 private homes with lovely & friendly neighbors. Proximity to Jamestown & Chautauqua institutions was great. Use of bike paths in adjoining Camp Chautauqua(100 acre site with 100 mobile trailer homes & 20 small fixed homes ) was great Also private tennis/pickelball court available at no cost on premises & large pool on adjoining camp property available as well as 2 boat docks.Great & safe for young children as community is private with no through streets & most kids & people use golf carts. There is adjoining campsite playground on lakefront which is great for young children. Bring a boat or kayak along & use Chautauqua institutions nearby for nightly entertainment as well as day lectures , art instruction courses sailing school, variety of day courses & lectures with great theater & opera productions. only 3 miles away.

Our long awaited family reunion of 8 adults and 1 dog LOVED staying in the Plum Bush house. The house is BEAUTIFUL and spacious, the beds comfy, the water hot and the sunporch was the coziest place to gather for conversation and enjoy the welcome snacks and beverages. The pool water was a balmy 88 degrees and the grounds were a great place to hike, have a camp fire or play a game of corn hole. Mary and Bert were nearby to answer any questions and made us feel at home. We would love to stay there again!

We had a fantastic trip and thoroughly loved the home and amenities. A gem of a find and we will definitely be back. Easy check in, responsive host, had everything we needed and more. The family loved the pool. Truly an amazing trip. Highly highly recommend.

Beautiful cozy home. My kids had a blast with the toys. Beautiful kitchen and great indoor lighting. Cute playground out back that my kids loved. Joelle was kind and responsive. Would definitely stay here again!!

This place was amazing you guys have put in a lot of work into it. Me and my family camped here for 6 years when I was a kid and coming back brought up so many memories!! Things were the same, but a lot has changed which I love! The owners were super sweet and made sure we had an amazing time! It was so peaceful! THEY ALSO HAVE WIFI!!! I think what you guys have coming in the future will make the place even more interesting/exciting! I can’t wait to come back!!

Great little place for a weekend getaway. Cabin had everything you’d need, in a nice peaceful, remote location. Would recommend especially for a quick ski trip!

This was the second time we stayed at Jennifer's place. Once again, we loved it. The Christmas decorations made it feel more like home during the holidays. Jennifer was responsive when a few situations came up. We had a great stay and are looking forward to staying again when we come to the area.

Ray and Patty were accessible even though we had no issues or need to contact them. The little treats and breakfast items were a nice touch. We would stay there again.

A great stay in a lovely home just minutes from charming Bemus Point. Kris's home is quiet, comfy, clean, and has everything you need. Five stars!

Second time staying at Jack's Place this year. The only bad thing about staying here is that you eventually have to leave. lol Debra's a great host, very responsive and helpful if anything is needed. Jack's is a very clean, spacious, peaceful & comfortable place to stay. Will definately stay again!!

Had a great stay in a comfortable and quiet cabin. Very peaceful and relaxing. Perfect place to watch movies, play some board games, and hang out with the family.

The tiny house is just perfect! Everything was incredibly clean and the kitchen is very well appointed The setting is so peaceful and beautiful. We enjoyed having dinner on the deck. We only stayed for one night and wished we could stay longer. Sharon was so friendly and really seems to enjoy sharing this beautiful setting with her guests.
