Great stay - gites set in beautiful countryside with large grounds and swimming pool, bbq, games - our stay was just to short to enjoy it all. Extremely pleasant hosts who also provided a useful booklet of local info, restaurants etc.

A true haven of peace! In the middle of nature and sheep! Cheerful! The amenities were perfect!

Perfect, perfect, perfect! We have had the most amazing week at Lilac Cottage! Phil & Maggie were amazing hosts, very attentive, and absolutely lovely. The cottage was gorgeous with all the amenities you could need. The pool area was also lovely and private and the selection of pool toys went down a treat with the kids. Maggie was always on hand if we needed any recommendations of where to go to see the local area . Overall a fantastic stop off as part of our mini French adventure. Would highly recommend!

We loved our stay, the cottage is very comfortable. The terrace and garden are really great for breakfast with the view of the valley which is beautiful. The sunset in the sun loungers… A beach by the river is a 15-minute walk away. Our dogs also enjoyed nearby walks. In short, the ideal stay.

A lovely gite in a wonderful rural location but with good road access for exploring the area. A really well equipped kitchen and as we like to cook when on holiday this was especially appreciated. Nice downstairs space in particular with simply the best woodburner we have seen. Very responsive and friendly relaxed hosts. Recommended all round.

Cheryl hosted us very warmly, we can see that she likes to host and is very attentive to her guests, the products and furniture are quality. For the very quiet and soothing environment to spend some time together. you can book without a second thought, it's really a place to remember the next time we pass through the area we won't ask ourselves the question or book.

Lovely, clean accommodation which was as described. Set in a peaceful area and with a lovely meadow full of insects, great for bug hunts with children! The kitchen had everything you will ever need. Phil (and Maggie) are lovely hosts who make you feel very welcome. They are happy to provide you with plenty of suggestions if required and are very responsive. Their pizza night is highly recommended!

Maggie was so nice! It's rare to find owners who take care of their tenants! Very smiling, very attentive! We loved staying at their place with our friends. We had enough space thanks to the three accommodations! In the middle of the quiet countryside we were able to enjoy our new year! Thanks again

The cottage was very nice, the house remains cool without air conditioning, it's a real advantage in summer. The hosts are adorable, they had left us little touches when we arrived (drink, fresh bread and eggs from their chicken), they were charming throughout the stay and even installed a safety gate on the stairs for our 2.5-year-old son. They are very discreet and sharing the pool is no problem. Ron and Belinda are perfect hosts!

We had a very pleasant stay, the hosts are welcoming, available, the setting is idyllic, the cottage is comfortable with everything you need. We'll be happy to go back!

we had an amazing week with Deborah. The place really is beautiful and so peaceful with the surroundings. plenty of space for 3 couples and a toddler. very accommodating and helpful whenever needed. appreciated the cherries that were brought over from one of the neighbours trees too. our first holiday with our toddler and it was just perfect. we will definitely be returning in the future. thanks Deborah!!

Excellent weekend despite the weather. Zoé's cottage is very warm, it feels extremely good. The hosting was very nice and the entrance to the accommodation dazzling 🤩 I don't see any negative points, everything is perfect from start to finish, the equipment, the decoration, the setting and the welcome basket! We had a great time with the family in Katherine and David's cottage. The cottage is very well-appointed and comfortable and they advised us on several interesting activities to do with the kids nearby.

Had a very nice week in this beautiful place with our two young children (3 & 6 years). Beautiful garden to play in and lovely swimming pool and also the cottage is very spacious and cozy.

We had a pleasant family weekend at Cathy and Pascal's cottage This one is as described! Each room has its own bathroom and toilet, allowing each to have their own space However, the large living room allows everyone to meet for friendly moments

We had not been to this region of France before and this beautiful little cottage was so typically French and everything we would have expected and more.  It was immaculately clean, very comfortable and had everything you could possibly wish for. It was the ideal base from which to discover all of the fabulous local areas we particularly loved Brantôme and Angoulême. We wanted a quiet relaxing time and Vayres was just perfect.  The weather was great even in October, most mornings we had breakfast outside after a short walk to the Boulangerie in the village. Tim was a great host with quick communication and very easy to speak to.  If you are looking for somewhere to stay in this region we can thoroughly recommend this lovely cottage you will not be disappointed, we are already planning a return visit.
