Vacation rentals with a pool in Chalais

What a great place - peaceful, spacious and private with everything you could ever need to make the time you spend at your home fun and relaxing. It did feel like a home from home. Olivier was helpful and responsive even months before the holiday and always replied within an hour. We had to drive all the way from Calais so explained that we’d be checking in late, he was very understanding even when this time got later and later, eventually arriving after 11pm Olivier still greeted us with a smile and a full tour of all of the facilities and living area, and remained helpful throughout. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend L’Atelier to anybody, and would come back in a heartbeat. Merci Olivier!

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour chez Chantal et Bernard. Nous recherchions du calme, nous n'avons pas été déçus ! Pas de vis-à-vis, belle vue dégagée sur la campagne depuis la terrasse, ce qui nous a permis d'apercevoir quasi tous les jours des chevreuils, 1 renardeau, spectacle assuré des rapaces dans le ciel, des hirondelles qui viennent s'abreuver dans la piscine, des tourterelles... Cuisine bien équipée, frigo de grande taille ce qui est appréciable. Literie de bonne qualité. La maison reste assez fraîche même lors des grosses températures car elle a des volets partout. Le nec plus ultra : la piscine ! Très grande, exposée au soleil toute la journée, belle profondeur dans sa 2ème moitié. Challais à 5 KM : sans doute une des plus petites villes proposant autant de commerces et de commodités... avec un chouette marché le lundi. Chantal et Bernard sont des hôtes bien sympathiques, tout proches mais d'une très grande discrétion et réactifs. Nous reviendrons assurément.

Un gite très joli et fonctionnel sur une île idyllique. "Une parenthèse enchantée". Aline est une hôtesse disponible et prévenante.

Nos deux hôtes ont été extrêmement accueillants et sympathiques. La location est très agréable et cosy. La piscine couverte et chauffée ainsi que la salle de sport avec sauna sont un véritable atout. On recommande!

Château très agréable , très belle propriété. Et beau jardin avec des arbres magnifiques . Maria nous fait un tour des caves et dégustation de vin, ce qui était très intéressant . Nous avons beaucoup apprécié la gentillesse de maria et de sa maman qui étaient toujours soucieuses que notre séjour soit parfait

Nathalie and Tim were such extraordinary hosts! My family and I had a wonderful time staying in their beautiful home! The house itself is perfect for cooking, relaxing, and spending time together. We were able to enjoy the wonderful gardens and the pool all day and watch the sunset from our patio each evening. Such a stunning and relaxing atmosphere. The best part was how well taken care of we felt all week. Nathalie helped organize a tour of local vineyards, scheduled a wine tasting by the pool, and cooked dinner for us all on 2 evenings. She also had great local restaurant and market recommendations! We also loved our morning chocolatines and croissants! They were extremely kind and accommodating throughout the trip - delivering bottles of wine when we ran short, lending us a pot so that we could cook a big stew one night, and even working a miracle helping me removing a grenadine stain from a white dress I bought at a local market. I can’t recommend this wonderful home enough!

We enjoyed our two weeks stay at Véronique‘s a lot. The house is very nice, we felt at home right away. It is located in a lovely, well kept and quite village. If you see the neighbours in the streets, they are friendly. The house itself is very clean, offers even more space than the photos indicate, and is very well decorated. The kitchen has everything we needed when it comes to utensils and machinery. The bathrooms are nice, too. The view from the house onto the property and surrounding landscape is amazing and invites you to relax. We took a lot of meals on the balcony. We enjoyed the garden and especially the pool which is looked after by a specialist every view days. We saw a lot of different birds while being in the garden. The village offers a small restaurant and a very good bakery both with French cuisine/ pastry.

Nous avons passé un excellent week-end entre amis dans cette maison. Tout était propre et fidèle à l’annonce. Geoffrey est très accueillant et disponible en cas de besoin Je recommande !

Sur la route des AirBnB, il arrive parfois qu’on rencontre des gens comme Phil, toujours près mais ne s’imposant pas. Flexible et attentionné. Pour le reste, tout est à moins de 2 minutes à pieds. L’appartement est parfait. Merci Phil et au plaisir de te revoir au Canada dans la neige

Nous avons passé une excellente nuit chez François, le lieu est magnifique et très calme. La literie est vraiment de qualité. Les hôtes sont très accueillants et les instructions d'arrivée claires et précises. Je recommande sans hésiter !

Super week-end chez Mathieu, l’appartement est propre et très bien équipé. L’immeuble est calme, sécurisé et on peut y garer sa voiture. Je recommande fortement !

The village of Gensac is tucked away in the lovely Saint-Émilion countryside. The one-time convent feels like a special place, a quiet and peaceful retreat to return to after our days visiting Bordeaux, Saint-Émilion, Bergerac, and environs. The suite is spacious, very clean, has useful amenities, and we settled in easily. A vase of fresh flowers on the dining table and a bottle of local wine were nice touches that we especially appreciated. John was a helpful, informative, and friendly host. We enjoyed meeting him and will remember our stay there fondly. Thank you, John.

Bonjour, L'appartement est agréable et le petit plus est qu'il est possible de rejoindre BERGERAC à pied directement par la coulée verte.

Très bon séjour chez Mélanie et Raphaël. Points positifs : -facilité d' accès en voiture. -propreté -calme -reactivité des hôtes Négatif : aucun Je conseille ce logement pour sa propreté et facile d accès en voiture.

Bon sejour. Bel accueil à notre arrivee. Grande maison de campagne tres calme sur un grand terrain. Belle piscine et beaucoup de jeux pour adultes et enfants. Maison bien equipee mais peut-être un peu vieillot a notre goût.

Gran elección. un emplazamiento precioso y muy tranquilo en pleno corazón de los viñedos franceses. Una vivienda bonita y cómoda. Perfectamente integrada en los viñedos y con una vistas fantásticas. En la realidad, es mucho más impresionante que en las fotos. Está a una distancia cómoda para visitar Burdeos y Saint-Emilion en coche, como lugares más destacados en los alrededores. Jean Louis ha sido un anfitrión muy accesible y atento, y con detalles agradables. Muy recomendable!
