We LOVED our stay. The home is super stylish AND comfortable. Plus, it’s very private. We felt like we had our own home in the vineyards, away from *everything* (although you can still drive to Saint Emillion in 30 minutes or Bordeaux in around an hour). Karine also supplied everything you would need or want, including a speaker so you can hang out in the garden/hot tub and listen to music, which we did most of the time 😅 Overall I can’t recommend it enough. We actually hope to come back and stay because we enjoyed our week there so much!

We had the pleasure of staying in one of Meg and Mark’s gîtes with our 2 teenage daughters for 4 nights. I had no hesitation in booking the gite having seen how beautiful it looked on the website and reading the glowing reviews both on the website and on Airbnb. On arrival we received a warm welcome from Meg and Mark who showed us around the gîte and the grounds. The gîte itself is just beautiful. It is absolutely spotless and exceptionally well equipped. The beds were super comfortable made even better by the high quality bedding. The grounds and gardens are very well kept and the pool is stunning with great views of the surrounding countryside - it was a big hit as was the hot tub in our private garden! To top it off, Meg and Mark are the most fantastic warm, friendly and welcoming hosts but always respectful of our privacy. Thank you Meg and Mark for a truly memorable few days and for your fantastic hospitality. Chez Lussaud is an absolute gem and is a credit to you!

Great for a short stay in a beautiful part of France! The host instructions re. local amenities and activities are super helpful given the relatively remote location.

We have just had a jolly spiffing holiday at Petit Grange! Monpazier is of course as beautiful as ever and the beer at Biere De Las Bastide still as quaffable, and all just 5 mins walk away! Petite Grange was perfect for our stay, having ample room to accommodate four adults. Everything you need has been thoughtfully included and all is clean and fresh as you'd expect from top notch hosts. Although we didn't try the pool or hottub (it being out of season) we found the garden and veranda offered both sunshine and shade, along with stunning views and a much-used BBQ, indeed if it wasn't such a beautiful area with much to see we could happily just hang out at Petite Grange - and will definitely return! Had the most perfect stay here. Samantha and Jamie were the best hosts so welcoming and unbelievably kind. Highly recommend to anybody can’t fault the home and hosts! Home was gorgeous just like the photos it was so picturesque and peaceful we loved it. The surrounds are gorgeous and so are the neighbouring towns. Perfect hosts and perfect home can’t fault a thing.

We had a very nice stay with Sofie and Irm. After a long drive, we arrived very late at night, in the dark. Nevertheless, we were received with great kindness by Sofie and we immediately saw: this is a beautiful place. The gite has all the comforts, is super clean and very nicely decorated. The grounds are very large, beautiful and definitely worth exploring. Monpazier is within walking distance with many good restaurants. Sofie and Irm are very sweet hosts. They are always up for a chat, give valuable tips, and gave us fresh eggs every few days. You can really see that they enjoy hosting guests and making them feel comfortable. we were driving to our holiday in spain and only stayed 1 night but we loved it. swimming pool was a bonus, didn't use the spa but it looked so good. we want to come back for a few days and make use of the facilities and explore the area. a very friendly host who is professional, and very warm and likeable. would definitely recommend it to others. just to note, the bedroom is downstairs, I was a little worried it was upstairs at the mezzanine level with the bathroom downstairs but when we arrived the bedroom and bathroom were downstairs. loved it.

A really lovely place surrounded by vineyards and with easy access to local towns. Bordeaux is a 90 min drive through some charming villages. I brought my dog and she loved the fenced garden. She loved Jonathan too! In fact, both Jonathan and Lesley are the most welcoming, considerate, generous and helpful of hosts. I stayed for a few weeks and would return in a heartbeat.

The house was really beautiful and had a good size outdoor area which was great for sunbathing and relaxing. Katherine left us a welcome pack which included fresh croissants and bread, orange juice, milk, butter, jam and a very nice bottle of wine! Very much appreciated. Each room has a fan and the shutters keep the house nice and cool. The house is in a quiet location but perfect for exploring the Dordogne and Charente. A car is a must.

Thank you for this charming cottage, we had a great time there with the family. The garden is superb, wooded, quiet and pleasant. The coolness of the house is very nice in summer. Everything is as described, with a bonus of toy bins for kids!! :)

We had a great week at Christian's place. The house is beautiful, tastefully decorated, well-equipped, quiet. The garden is superb and very well maintained, itself surrounded by meadows and forests. A real corner of paradise. Christian is very discreet but super responsive. A beautiful meeting. Lots of places to visit within a 30 km perimeter, castles, caves, ruins, nature hikes to do ... Both parents and children were delighted with this stay. We'll be happy to go back. Thank you Christian!

Wow!!! Everything was impeccable, clean, with everything you need in the kitchen! The exterior is perfect! Everything is super well maintained and of great quality! We were sad to leave! We had a wonderful stay! It was a beautiful gîte -so idyllic, with clean, modern appliances and kitchen. The pool was clean and fresh, the outdoor seating was perfect and a great spot for a BBQ and the view was amazing! We’d recommend to anyone. It’s 15 mins drive from Bergerac, Eymet and Issigeac, so there’s plenty of picturesque French towns to visit around. It’s private and although there’s another gîte in site, we felt like we had the pool to ourselves! Balbina was also so accommodating with our baby - she provided cot and high chair. It was just perfect!

Perfect stay at Lizzie and Pascal's. The place is beautiful and peaceful and the welcome is very friendly. Our little attic was very cozy and very pleasant! Perfect for our stay! The location is very central between Bergerac, Sarlat and Périgueux but also close to the beautiful different villages of the region. We had trouble leaving!
