Wendy and Alan’s place is a magical place. You fee like you are in a tree house, in the redwoods. There is such beauty in the surrounding areas, you come here to unplug to get disconnect from all. I was surprised to not see any fast food, but that is what I loved about the area. This area feels like it’s meant to nourish you. The people are great, the house and surrounding areas are an experience. Wendy and Allan are delightful, and feel privileged that we had a chance to share in their space. Highly recommended.

We loved this beautifully home, and after a long work week, this was exactly what we needed to unwind! Just the views out the back, including the giant redwood just outside the window, made this house worth it. We initially had some hiccups with the fireplace, and when I couldn’t figure it out myself, Larry personally came down in the middle of the night to help us out! We’re really hoping we can visit this house again sometime and get to enjoy it!

We had a great time at this beautiful redwood retreat! Bob & Finn were amazing hosts for us and our dog, Bennie. It’s hard to find a better place to relax and work. Amazing views of hills and valleys full of redwood trees, very close to the river (just a steep hill to get down there, but incredibly short drive), and also very close to downtown Guerneville where there’s some great food and ice cream options. We miss it already!

Our stay at this peaceful home in the redwoods was truly wonderful! Tucked away among the towering trees, the setting was serene and relaxing. The home itself was clean, comfortable, and clearly cared for with love. Ana was thoughtful, communicative, and made sure we had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. She quickly responded and helped me reorient myself when I got turned around on the road. Extremely kind and helpful! We left feeling refreshed and inspired by the natural beauty around us. If you’re looking for a quiet retreat that blends comfort with nature, this is the place. We’d return in a heartbeat.
