From the relaxing hammock and the stone made barbecue in a panoramic garden to the cozy fireplace, every space feels open and inviting. Immersed in total peace and tranquillity with a breathtaking view over the Chianti hills, halfway between Florence, Arezzo and Siena, the barn is a perfect homebase to visit Tuscany. The accommodation has 2 floors. The upper floor spaces 2 double bedrooms with wonderful views of the olive trees and a bathroom with window and large masonry shower. On the ground floor a cozy and spacious living area with fireplace and a kitchenette with gas stove a large fridge and oven. The barn has ceilings with exposed beams and bricks. Outside there is a panoramic garden set on its own where, in the shade of a walnut trees, you can relax on a hammock or grill your meal (included an authentic local Fiorentina steak :-) on the stone made barbecue. A garden table is there for romantic dinners 'al fresco'. Immersed in total peace and tranquility halfway between Florence, Arezzo and Siena the barn is a perfect homebase to visit Tuscany. The closest towns are Cavriglia and the small Medioeval villages of Moncioni and Montegonzi. In each town you can find great local restaurants and a small grocery shop. Moncioni is 3 km far away. A big supermarket is located in Montevarchi and you can reach it in 8 minutes by car ( exactly 7 km far away). In Montevarchi you can also find one of the best farmer markets in Tuscany! The station of Montevarchi is 8 km away from the barn. From there you can take train to Florence and Arezzo. Siena can be reached in 30 minutes by car. The easy access to the motorway A1/E35 Milan-Florence-Rome (the Valdarno exit is only at 13 km) allows you to reach numerous interesting spots within a short time, both in Tuscany and Umbria, while few kilometres south of Cavriglia you enter the suggestive territory of the Crete Senesi. Out in the countryside, the home offers an authentic experience of Tuscany. Small towns and villages are a short drive away providing acces to exceptional local restaurants and fantastic farmers markets. A big supermarket is located in Montevarchi (7 km far away). The railway station is 8 km away from the barn. From there you can take train to Florence and Arezzo. Cities of interest like Siena, Montepulciano, Pienza and Monteriggioni can be reached in 40 minutes by car The only way to reach the house is by car. A taxi service is active from Montevarchi You will be provided of blankets and towels. The kitchen is equipped with and kind of pots, pans, bowl, plates and silverware. You are welcome to use them. Our stay at Gabriele's place was great and we enjoyed the week we have with him. The house has a cinematic sweeping view of the Tuscan countryside and the pool just like that. The pool is perfect for cooling off on the hot summer days. The house is beautiful, rustic, clean and cool. Air conditioning also helps. We have been a family of 4, with children of 4 and 7 years. We have enjoyed it every day! Gabriele and his wife were very friendly, welcoming and always easy to reach if needed. They helped make our stay just perfect. Thanks to them! We can only recommend a stay with Gabriele and his “Le Capannacce”.

Very nice house located in a quiet location among olive trees. The house was very well equipped, everything was available, including a coffee machine capsule. The house has a well-maintained garden with a beautiful pool, too bad we didn't use it because of the weather. Restaurants and villages are 10-15 minutes away by car.

Alexander's lovely place is bright and cool. Spacious and functional spaces inside and convenient access to an outdoor space overlooking the sea beyond Via Panoramica. Perfect for a family vacation and as a base to explore the wonderful surroundings of the Argentario. We fell in love with Cala del Gesso and Cala Grande, just a few minutes away by car (and a nice walk, challenging but fascinating) from the accommodation. Alexander and Ariel were friendly and helpful. Recommended!

Alessandro’s house is a dream. Amazing location, surrounded by Tuscan countryside with 360 degrees views. Beautifully appointed, we had everything we needed, well stocked kitchen, owner’s made wine, fresh fruit and gorgeous fresh flowers upon arrival. Swimming pool was enjoyed by the entire family,. Each bedroom with a stylish bathroom. We could not dream of a better week in Tuscany! We are very grateful for time spent in Castiglione D’0rcia and hope to come back one day. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We had a fantastic stay in Radda for 5-nights in April. We were travelling mainly for cycling and vineyard hopping. The apartment was very clean and spacious off of the main road in a quiet area overlooking beautiful vineyards and hills. Check-in was easy and Paola was very responsive throughout. Radda itself is beautiful with many great restaurants and enotecas - we always felt very safe. The surrounding area is really stunning - I would love to come back some day.

We absolutely loved the home and location! There were nine of us and everyone had their own space and bathroom. The home was very clean and decorated beautifully. Amanda was a fabulous host. She was very responsive with all communication and helpful with places to see in the region. The location was excellent for traveling all around Tuscany and it was very peaceful. We can't wait to go back!

Highly recommended! A dreamy villa in the Tuscan countryside, absolutely suitable for our group of friends. Large spaces both inside and outdoors, views of the beautiful Tuscan hills, what else to say ... we couldn't ask for more. A special thanks goes to Claudia who takes care of welcoming guests and who made us feel at home, welcoming us in a professional and very kind way. The kitchen is very large and very well equipped. The villa is very clean and every detail is really well cared for and nothing is left to chance. Very spacious, bright and comfortable rooms.
