The holiday apartments of “Il Granaio” are located in the countryside of the Maremma Toscana about 6 km from the beach. They were built at the beginning of the 20th century as stables for the Quadruped Breeding Center and completely renovated and transformed into rustic apartments (Scuderia) in 1999, leaving the original architectural features intact. In 2003 the renovation was completed by completely rebuilding the barn and transforming it into comfortable two-room apartments (Fienile).

We booked Villa Montechiarone as part of our wedding at Montechiaro Organic Winery to house a group of 7 guests. The property sits around 500m from the winery itself, with views out over the Tuscan countryside, it's a breathtaking location and the villa itself is an incredible space. There are 2 huge indoor living areas, a well equipped kitchen, 4 spacious bedrooms and an outdoor covered terrace, as well as the garden and pool area. There is real character in the property in the way it is decorated as well as the imposing facade of the building itself. The pool area is spacious and well placed to take in the most of the view, and there is a car port with parking for at least 4 cars covered, with plenty more room if required beyond. Overall perfect for housing our guests who had a great experience and were very thankful for the help whilst checking out also!

Great place to stay in Tuscany. The property is super beautiful, peaceful and well maintained. the apartment is just as described and very comfortable with all we needed for our stay. We loved it so much at first sight and extended our stay immediately after arrival :) We had good communication with both the Airbnb and PPM team, before and during our stay. The location is a little bit remote but it’s pretty easy to get to many popular places for a day trip. We would have stayed longer if time allowed. Would love to go back again another time. Highly recommended

L’appartamento è molto curato e pulito, Denise è un host superlativa, siamo stati molto molto soddisfatti.

La nostra è stata la prima volta all'isola dell'Elba…la posizione della casa è strategica, ci si può muovere a piedi e in bicicletta (che sono messe a disposizione degli ospiti), ma ubicata in una zona tranquilla. Molto gentile e disponibile …insomma una bellissima vacanza. Ci ritorneremo sicuramente.

Claudia ist eine tolle Gastgeberin, immer sehr hilfsbereit und super nett. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Appartements haben alles was man braucht, das Pool ist super - sehr sauber und mit einem wunderbaren Blick. Die lage ist auch top - in etwa 15 Minuten ist man in der Volterra und bis zu San Gimignano braucht man nur eine halbe Stunde. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder und bedanken uns für das leckere Öl und den schönen Urlaub!

Vi elsker Volterra og Toscana og stedet til Marco var pent beliggende med fantastisk utsikt over området rundt. Vi møtte aldri Marco, men ble vennlig tatt imot av flere fra familien hans. Fikk relativt raskt svar på forespørsler vi hadde. Det var en enkelt leilighet, med alt vi trengte av fasiliteter. Vi ble tilbudt å lade el-bilen, men dette fungerte dessverre ikke helt.

Scelto questo appartamento proprio xché all’interno di un borgo in zona pedonale con parcheggi a 5 min a piedi . C’è una leggera salita che non crea nessuna ansia in caso di difficoltà motorie. E veniamo all’appartamento : perfetto e spazi ottimali !! Molto coccolo e con una stupenda vista mare. Pulitissimo e ottimamente riscaldato considerando che abbiamo soggiornato a Capodanno. Nel ns caso, 4 persone in 3 camere da letto con 2 bagni (di cui uno di servizio) direi che ci è andata di lusso. Mai cucinato ma cucina ben attrezzata. Ottima comunicazione con Ernesta anche se non presente. Non ho trovato ‘scomodo’ doversi portare lenzuola ed asciugamani. Per il resto letti comodissimi e presenti molte coperte e piumoni. Direi proprio un appartamento molto curato che ti da la sensazione di essere a casa e non in una casa-vacanze. DA TORNARE!!! Inoltre a Capodanno bellissima festa in piazza. Che dire, io mi sono innamorata del borgo ….. e alloggiare da Ernesta ha fatto il resto.TOP
