Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Castello, Venice

Paola was very nice and very helpful to us. There were 10 of us and we had a great time as the house is beautiful, very complete and spacious. We had a wonderful New Year's Eve with friends and would love to come back. Thanks Paola for the flexibility in check-in time and availability to help us with the decorations. Super recommended!

If this flat is available for your time frame, don’t hesitate. Possibly the best place I ever rented. Excellent location, pristinely clean, Great beds. Carlo went above and beyond to show us are surrounding area and highlights. Take his advice on the bakery and restaurant. So happy we were able to experience this place. I would go back. Thanks

The place is located in nice and quiet area, great spot to relax. The house is equipped with all necessities. Very nice and helpful host, always ready to respond and come to us, providing tips about the surroundings ;)

This property is located in a great location. Very easy to walk to all attractions, restaurants, and supermarkets. I would definitely recommend this location due to its location. Host and their partner were very kind.

We had a great stay at cozy house, the location was perfect for us as it’s right between the Giardini and Arsenale for the biennale. We arrived early and were allowed to leave our bags in the house and return later at check in which was so helpful. The kitchen was spotless and well stocked with essentials like oil, salt, and pepper. There were also some coffee pods and breakfast snacks for the first day. Each room also had an AC unit! The living area is slightly darker than we anticipated and unfortunately there was no tv but this was communicated to us prior and we were out exploring most of the time. Responsive hosts.

We really enjoyed Sara’s apartment. Everything is exactly what you saw in the pictures. Good location but on the quiet side.

Highly recomended place. We had a great experience at Ariana's house, the apartment was clean and had all the amenities that were listed. She and her husband were supersupportive. I would love to go there again if I get a chance to visit italy again.

We travelled as a family with two teenage boys at Easter time. Fabio was a wonderful host and very kind, responsive and helpful. He goes out of his way to make your stay a great experience. We arrived in Venice late at night with an unexpected flight delay. Fabio was so kind as to wait for us so that he could take us to the Airbnb and show us around. The area is very peaceful and quiet as well only 5 mins away from the main tourist area. All is very walkable from there. The ferry to the airport is also very close by. The Airbnb came with most everything we needed and was very comfortable for us. The bedding is really good and the house is charming and clean. We definitely recommend this Airbnb. This is a lovely place to stay in Venice.

Dear Nicola & Francesco - We have had a wonderful 5 night stay in your home - it is beautifully presented , a location dream - just far enough away from the hustle & bustle of Venice , with local supermarkets x 2 , restaurants and bars within a couple of minutes and 20 mins from St Marks square walking slowly . We’ve used the water buses , walked a lot , seen so much of your beautiful Venice . When we return it will be to your beautiful apartment . Giovanna was attentive throughout our stay. He responded quickly, was always very friendly and had very good recommendations. He provided us with a place to leave our luggage after check-out. The apartment is small but the 4 of us were very comfortable. The location is perfect for walking and there are many places to eat nearby. We'd love to come back!

Great host , Everything was very close by, place had a beautiful balcony, everything you need for the trip was there. I was worried since my flight was at late night how to find the place but Stefano sent the clear and easy to follow directions which was very helpful. Even when he came he explained us where we will find supermarket which places to visit he helped us by drawing the map. He asked us again and again any questions that was very nice of him. I stayed there with my husband and 14 year old son. Two specious bedrooms with closets and lots of linen. It was great place to stay

Located a few blocks from the shuttle bus, even closer to the train station and big vaparetto stop. New bathroom, with the proper set up for bidet use (when you know...). Kettle, moka pot, micro, gas burners, lots of place for storage. Nice, fluffy duvet!

Maurizio and Francesca's accommodation offers all the necessary amenities, a quiet location and a home with attention to the smallest details. You can cook because everything you need is there!

Martina's accommodation is ideally placed for visiting Venice, 2 steps from the Rialto Bridge. Shops are also located downstairs. The street is busy and a little noisy at night but Martina is considerate and leaves earplugs if needed. We can only recommend their accommodation.

Valeria’s place was a walkable distance to everything in Venice. She and Matteo were very friendly and would gladly stay at their place again!

If you’re on the fence about booking this space for your time in Venice—don’t be! It is amazing, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time in this beautiful airbnb. Not only was it peaceful, but it was central to all of the different divisions/neighborhoods of Venice. Also, the hosts went above and beyond to help us tourists figure out the island. Much love to these hosts!!

Excellent accommodation, you can take the bus near the apartment to go to Venice. But the best thing was the attention of Sara and her family, they are very kind, I would definitely come back to get away here

Check-in was easy to understand and they provided information about nearby facilities and bus stops to get to Venice.The kitchen was easy to use, and there was a supermarket nearby, so we had a pleasant time.Venice is about 30 minutes from the house, so it wasn't hard to get there by bus every day during our 3-night stay. The host, Jessica, always took care of us during our stay.This is a great place to stay in Venice.

Beatrice is the most valuable host we ever had. We were surprised to meet her near the water boat station, where she and her husband helped us with the suitcases. She gave us any information we asked for: that was more than helpful, given that Venice is a "complicated" city. The apartment was clean and perfectly equipped. Next time we visit Venice, we will book at Beatrice's place again.

This is the second time I have stayed at Laura’s beautiful Palazzo apartment. It is right on the Grand Canal and each morning I awoke to the beautiful sight and sounds of Venice through the big pane window. It is a dream apartment with painted ceilings and elegant antiques. The bath water is hot and there is even two friendly kitties who live in the garden and building. I am right at home and plan to return again. Thank you Laura for your excellent communications and kindness in meeting me upon my arrival and helping me set up a Water Taxi for a return to the airport. It was a perfect experience! Sandra

Well-located - just a 15-minute walk from the train station. It’s far enough not to be bothered by the noise and crowds, but close enough to easily reach the airport (there are direct shuttles to both nearby airports right near the station) or visit other cities. When it started to rain, we just hopped on a train to Verona. No need to bother with renting a car. There’s also a excellent pizza restaurant just a few minutes' walk from the apartment that perfectly solved our late dinner needs. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed. Matteo is a great host - his tips and help made an already wonderful trip even better.

It was simply beautiful!! Only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer!!!

Close to train station. Very welcoming. We felt right at home.
