Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Carlsbad Village

I stayed at this Airbnb with my mom and our 3 dogs. It was very cozy and at such a great location. The front porch/grassy area was our (and the dogs) favorite spot to relax. A very quick walk to dog beach and some yummy breakfast spots (highly recommend Benedict’s). Overall very relaxing stay and we would return. Only downside was the neighbors fire alarm kept going off early in the morning but that’s out of everyone’s control; the bed is also very tall, may need a step stool if you’re short lol.

Staying at Nancy's place was a fantastic experience for my family, a family of four including two children. The house is beautiful and Nancy was very helpful, friendly and accommodating. The kitchen is very well equipped, the front and back yards are lovely to sit in. The only difficulty we encountered was that we didn't have longer to stay! We would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to others.

This Air BNB is my favorite in Carlsbad. Easy parking, walkable to all the shopping and restaurants. it is always clean, too!

I stayed in Gabe's Airbnb with 5 of my cousins for a week! The location was great - Trader Joe's and a cute bagel/coffee shop was literally a 5 minute walk from the house. We made multiple trips throughout the week. Gabe was super helpful and responsive when anything happened. We did get locked out somehow one time, and he was able to get us in and resolve the issue within 10 minutes through his Ring camera. The fridge and kitchen were stocked well and we were able to use the stove without problems. The one thing I will mention is the living room area is a bit smaller than I expected. It was difficult for all 6 of us to sit at the same time to watch a movie or play games, but we all had more than enough space for sleeping, and to store our belongings. The hot tub was definitely a huge highlight of the place! It is shared with the neighbors but they were never using it while we were there!

Lovely place!! Extremely well located, literally 2 mins from the beach and great coffee/restaurants. Galyn was extremely helpful and responsive, and the house was just what we were looking for. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a cute beach cottage!

We had a fantastic stay here. The location was excellent—so close to the beach, coffee shops, and restaurants in both mission beach and pacific beach. We had 6 adults staying and didn’t feel cramped. We especially enjoyed sitting on the patio. We had no problem parking a Honda civic and Kia sportage side by side. The host was very responsive. Would definitely recommend!

Cindy and Alex were so incredibly supportive of us during our stay. We were escaping the LA widlfires after my girlfriend lost her home. They were always available with questions and great hosts! So, so appreciate their kindness to us.

This place was an amazing stay and I really enjoyed the space. It’s very peaceful and quiet and has everything you need. The washer and dryer were very helpful and although I didn’t use the jacuzzi it was a nice addition. It was very nice to have to check in and see a pre rolled joint waiting for you. The bathroom and shower were very clean and the kitchen was very useful. All around an amazing stay that I have no complaints about. I also appreciated being able to park in the driveway. I stayed 3 nights and throughly enjoyed the space. Thank you for the hospitality, I would 100% recommend and stay again.

Lisa has the most beautiful set up! We absolutely loved the spending time outside by the coy pond and the birds were really a unique touch. We had a wonderful time and Lisa has thought of everything! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cove!

My family and I had a delightful time at Brian and Carla’s home. All amenities available with a spectacular pool and hot tub in the back combined with beautiful palm trees and birds of paradise which gives the feel of being in your own private oasis. Centrally located and in a nice neighborhood. Good communication at all times. Highly recommended. Brian and Carla, thank you for a memorable time.

Wonderful location, 12-14 minutes or less to everything we wanted to do. Expansive patio and pool area. Bedroom layout worked okay for our group of five - three adults and two kids. Property managers were very responsive when we contacted them. The house was spotless. We were there for two weeks and never ran out of things to do in San Diego and environs. We’ll be back.

We stayed at Pete's place because it has a gorgeous pool (the pool slide was a huge hit), is close to Del Mar racetrack, and is close to the beach/ocean (you can see the ocean from the front yard). We took our two Bichons and felt safe and secure letting them out. We have family in San Diego and had a small family cook out on Sunday. The grill was awesome, and there are lots of fun things to do on the property, front and back yards. We didn't take advantage of the jacuzzi, but it was already heated up. Since the house doesn't have air conditioning, there were fans in the family room and bedroom. Large kitchen, so you can cook and bake if you don't want to eat out all the time. The house is single story, but outside there are lots of levels where you have to go up and down some single steps,so small children would need help and elderly or disabled folks may need help, too. Pete gave great directions about how to access the main entrance, and the self check-in security code.

We had such a great Spring Break stay at Tamarack Palms with our two young kids and our pup. The yard and heated pool were the stars—our kids were thrilled to have so much space to play, and even though the weather was cool, the heated pool made it easy to enjoy time outside every day. The location was ideal—peaceful, family-friendly neighborhood and just minutes from the beach, Carlsbad Village, and essentials like Von’s. It made daily outings and grocery runs super convenient. Inside, the home was clean, stylish, and well laid out. The three bedrooms and two bathrooms were perfect for our family, and having a washer and dryer made the whole trip easier. The main living space is cozy but functional, and we felt right at home. Our host was fantastic—responsive, friendly, and accommodating. It’s clear a lot of care goes into making guests feel welcome. No negatives at all—just a peaceful, well-located family stay. We’d absolutely stay again.

House was clean and comfortable. Check in and check out went smoothly. Communication was great with the owner. Perfectly accommodated our family and location was great. We loved that Better Buzz was within walking distance for a coffee! Grocery store and restaurants also close by. Would highly recommend this rental!

Our family had the best stay at Bruce’s place. It’s a beautifully maintained property and so relaxing yet many activities to do! The kids loved the pool and ping pong tables, the fire pit for s’mores, pool, but especially the “outdoor living room” with a tv to watch movies or listen to music. We can’t wait to return! It’s a great property that is perfect for large groups- from families, bachelors or bachelorette parties, girls get away, etc.

Rob’s place was just as described. We found it quiet and peaceful, with enough room for our needs. It had a nice little fenced-in area (great for dogs) and everything was comfortable. Rob was timely, clear, and friendly in his communications. Easy to get to Legoland and plenty of restaurants in the area.

Charming place with actually more space than I expected. The opposite end bedrooms worked out well and the yard was perfect for our dog. Quiet time in house rules 9pm - 9am however there is a newer food/bar place just around the corner that is fairly loud past 9pm that makes street parking difficult on the weekend. The house has no parking but street so if you didn’t keep a car out front, it was hard to park if the eatery was crowded. All in all we were happy with it. Communication is excellent and quick. I would stay again. I live in north county and had to be out of my home for a tent fumigation so this was perfect since I have a dog. Lots of places to eat within walking distance. Cell coverage is very weak in this area.

We had an amazing stay at the "Sundial" property in La Mesa! The property was exactly as described in the photos—beautifully maintained and full of charm. It was spotless upon arrival, which made it feel so welcoming and comfortable. The host was incredibly responsive and helpful, ensuring we had everything we needed for a perfect stay. The location was also fantastic, making it easy to explore the area. All San Diego attractions were within a short 15-20 minute drive away. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and stress-free getaway.

We have stayed with Lisa multiple times in the past year. It’s like a home away from home. Very easy to get to and convenient to visiting friends and family. Very quiet neighborhood and cozy place inside.

I had a wonderful stay here! Olga was incredibly welcoming when my friend and I arrived—she gave us a great tour of the place, which looked amazing. The space had everything we needed, making our stay comfortable and enjoyable. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a warm and inviting experience!

Easy find and secluded spot! Beautiful gardens in private courtyard setting with yummy oranges and lemons. Bedrooms were comfortable, clean and cozy. Fully equipped kitchen was a real plus!! Would definitely consider staying here again!

We had an amazing stay and was very communicative and given I found her place one day before our stay because my previous Airbnb canceled last minute was amazing. The space was very clean.

Comfortable beds and perfection location with a driveway offering parking which is really important in pacific beach area. Snezana was an amazing host and contacted me within a minute of ever messaging her with questions. I will share there is not AC, which is common in this area, so just a heads up for the super hot months (July/august) in SD! We did not have a problem and kept the windows open, but it gets toasty during the way (specifically in the hot months only I’m sure). I would stay here again!
