This is one of the most well thought out homes I’ve ever stayed at globally. The home is stunning and so well designed, even more beautiful than the photos. We loved how the pool was next to the master bedroom. This home has everything you need and more. Would love to stay agin!

My 2 colleagues and myself stayed here for a total of 8 nights as we were in town for a conference. It was brilliant and had everything we needed. I would highly recommend Oceanside and this property .

We had a fantastic week in La Jolla! John’s place was charming, spotless, and perfect for our family. The home was well-stocked with thoughtful amenities—including beach gear—and had everything we needed to feel comfortable. The location is unbeatable: a quiet, family-friendly neighborhood within a few minutes walking distance to the beach, great restaurants, coffee shops, and more. John was a friendly and responsive host who made everything easy from start to finish. Honestly could not have asked for a better host. Highly recommend for families looking for a relaxing, convenient stay in La Jolla. We’d love to come back!

Had a great Time. House is beautiful and the view was outstanding. We loved listening to and seeing the wildlife and birds. The Beds were very comfortable. The Kitchen was well supplied, plenty of dish ware, cups, bowls etc. The Pool table kept us all entertained. We loved having a TV in every room, the 83 in was nice and big. Plenty of seating for meals and for watching TV. The Pool was nice and big, and spa seat us all and got plenty warm enough was a little hard to get in and out of the Pool and Spa with no rails but otherwise great, even saw the owl fly into his home. Overall Fantastic defiantly a 5 Star

This house was great for our whole family from Missouri to stay in for a couple weeks. The neighborhood was nice just off Mission and close to the beach. We definitely took advantage of that. Also very easy from the house to get to freeways to do tourist stuff. The house is made for at least 6 guests. Everyone had space and we didn’t feel crowded. The kitchen is easy to work in and has everything one would need to cook a meal. Out back has a pool and areas we all sat to talk and commune. We especially loved the fire pit on the chilly mornings and evenings! On housekeeping, we made use of the washer and dryer. They had a great supply of towels for everyone! We really had a wonderful experience and will definitely reach out for future visits!

Amazing experience. Vi’s place was homey beyond expectation. My wife was very impressed with how available everything was especially in the kitchen because we are a family of 6 and always eating out would have not been cost effective. We felt right at home. My wife especially loved the complementary fruits, water, and treats. The kids rooms were packed with toys and books they could read and play with in their spare time which was amazing. The living room was filled with board games for the entire family. The garage also had amazing games for the entire family with foldable chairs and equipment for the beach and camping. There was so much to do in the house that staying in was not in the slightest boring. The entire family enjoyed the pool and the spa and had an amazing time especially on the days we stayed in. I certainly would be booking Vi’s place again anytime we are in San Diego.

We canceled our plan to go to the zoo because my kids love this place so much—they just want to stay here and play, and they don’t even want to leave.

All I can say is WOW! Where to begin! The place was PERFECT! Clean, spacious, great space and TOTALLY walkable to the beach. Jill was AMAZING! We got there about 4 hours before checkin. She was there when we got there. The cleaning people were about to clean the house. She invited us to unload our bags into one of the rooms that had already been cleaned. That was so helpful. We spent so much time at the beach, the house and the front yard. Absolutely loved the space. We will look to this house the next time we are in Carlsbad!

We had an excellent vacation in Carlsbad, thanks to Patti and Ken. The accommodations were perfect for our stay, and we found everything we needed for cooking, to enjoying the beach. The home is very well kept, and the furniture and bed were very comfortable. The beach is a short walk, and we could also enjoy the sun porch for watching the sunset. Must sees in Carlsbad are the Flower Fields and the nearby Harbor Fish Cafe has some of the best seafood we've had! We hope to get back here again sometime! Lovely home very close to the beach and village shopping. Comfortable furniture. Nicely updated kitchen. Plenty of towels and beach equipment. Private yard. The front yard was a bit overgrown, but still very comfortable. The shower water pressure is really low. Took forever to take a shower. But the updated bathroom was very nice and open.

This was a perfect place for my family. We walked a ton! Close to the best restaurants, coffee shops, and of course the beach. Easy access on the highway too. The backyard is perfect with the hot tub. Inside, the house is great and the bedding is very comfortable. We would stay here again anytime we visit.

This homes location was absolutely perfect, and our family appreciated and enjoyed the ample outdoor space so much. The home was quite clean upon check in, and I very much appreciated that it was ready early in the day for us. Denise and Genny were a pleasure to communicate with. To preface, we are a family consisting of 2 adults, a toddler, a newborn and a dog, so we very likely have more belongings than the standard travelers! However, a few items as a longer stay family that I would have appreciated as additions: a closet where I could hang clothing (the closet provided had shelving only), some spices / oils / basics in the kitchen, and a few additional pieces of furniture in the living area (think hooks for jackets, a shoe rack, a small credenza to place things on, etc.). These small details did not at all take away from the incredible experience we had at this home, and we would gladly come back if the opportunity presented.

This house is wonderful and would stay again. My 3 children and my mother and myself fit perfectly. We walked to the beach daily. Lots of amenities at the house for the kids to play with. We slept comfortably. Really nice space!

This home was perfect for a week long getaway! Stayed with my 4 year-old and our dog, great place for both. Lots of restaurants that are walkable and easy to visit the beach multiple times a day. When the beach was busy for Memorial day, the area directly in front of home was never too busy as there is no public parking. You'll have space for a vehicle to park in the garage, which felt secure with location on busy street. You can also fit 2 cars in driveway. A few mornings we could see dolphins swim and play from balcony. We found the leather recliners to be very comfortable for watching TV or the ocean. Quick drive to Legoland (8 mins) and dog beach in Del Mar (15 mins). The host was very responsive and proactive with providing check-in and check-out details within 24 hours. My family and I look forward to staying again!

This airbnb was conveniently located and was as advertised. Place was clean and the check-in process was seamless. Would definitely check out other Wander locations in the future.

We had a lovely stay at the Maple Beach House. Excellent location - very short walk to beach and nearby Carlsbad village restaurants. The front patio area was absolutely wonderful (and very clean). Great to sit and sip your morning coffee or enjoy a meal outside in the beautiful weather. The fire pit was so relaxing and the perfect end to each night. Inside the home is also very clean and well maintained. Beds were very comfortable. Large capacity washer and dryer were also helpful when washing beach towels. Big thank you to host Rachel who was very kind and helpful! Hope to stay again and recommend highly to anyone considering this property!

Would 100% stay again. We felt right at home and had everything we needed. Drake did a great job providing local recommendations. Hope to visit again soon!

We really enjoyed our stay! Great location and hosts were had good communication. Parking was readily available out front and check in and out was very easy.

10 and her partner were great at hosting us while we stayed in Carlsbad we enjoyed the view the walk to the beach the game room they went above and beyond by getting my child some snacks and a pizza so it would be there when we arrived this was amazing which was amazing when traveling with kids will be back to stay

It was absolutely charming. We enjoyed our short stay, only regret was not having more time to enjoy it more. Beds and bedding was comfortable. Kitchen is fully stocked. Plenty of thick towels and beach towels. My grandsons loved sleeping in the loft. We were 20 minutes away from Sea World minutes from great parks for the boys. The owner was wonderful. First, Jaren is awesome. He checks in throughout the process. As a former AirBnB owner, he gets what it takes to be successful and make you feel at home. The place is awesome. It is as described and as people have reviewed. The neighborhood is filled with amazing eateries. The home is in outstanding condition. You have everything you need. Only note is the walking distance beach is probably for surfing only - really can’t sit there. But the Oceanside beach is a 20 min walk or a five minute drive. Sunset though from that close beach is awesome. Waves crashing in and sunset makes for amazing photos. If you like to board, you are only minutes from doing it. We will be back.
