Vacation rentals with lake access in Carinthia

An unforgettable, magical place and experience staying in this very special place. Magdalena is a wonderful kind and thoughtful host. I have stayed in many places in my increasing years but this home is one of the most incredible places on the planet.

Wonderful house, great location, everything lovingly maintained

Arrived and felt right at home! The house is superbly divided and the rooms are functionally furnished. Heidi replaced a mattress that was no longer good within a day. It's great that we were allowed to use everything. We almost inflated the bike. Because there is only one bathroom and toilet on the first floor, you could often hear the stairs creaking loudly at night. For us house dust allergy sufferers, the many carpets, upholstery and pillows are not optimal, next time we will take medication, because we would very much like to come back. Many thanks also for the very friendly welcome and great hospitality!

We felt very comfortable with the entire family (4 people+ 1 dog) in the cottage. Child/ animal friendly. It has a very charming and quaint touch, which we liked very much. We had a lovely time at Lake Faaker & surroundings. The hosts were very friendly and communication went smoothly. Glad to come back!

it was a very nice, clean and organized house where close to Ossiacher See area, you can walk to the See with a wonderful view. Lots of restaurants, Pizza, gas station and super market close by, during the night you can enjoy the beautiful stars and moon on the balcony.

Delightful accommodation that exceeded our expectations, Vanessa was very accommodating and always helped with everything right away. Perfect mountain views, all perfectly prepared. The house was very cold at first, but after contacting the host, who responded immediately and adjusted the temperature was perfect. Thank you. ❤️

Despite the slightly rainy weekend, we had a great time with nine people (3 teenagers) - wonderful view of the lake from the terrace, very nicely equipped house and many sporting opportunities in the area, from the paddle path on the Drau, hiking and walking to the Family Flow Trail (MTB downhill) in Bad Kleinkirchheim. As the advertisement once said so aptly: "Carinthia is crazy!" ;)

The house is wonderfully quiet and was exactly what we were hoping for – if not more! Especially the direct lake access with the SUPs was a real highlight. The house itself is spacious, very clean and cozy – you immediately feel at home. Norbert was a great host: helpful, friendly and always responded quickly. Clear recommendation – we will be happy to come back! 😊

We had a wonderful stay at Gebhard's & Eva's apartment. The apartment is even better than in the photos and the bathhouse with the private lake access is a great bonus! We traveled with a toddler, and were kindly provided with a baby cot and high chair. We would come back anytime!

Werner & Rosemarie's Villa Rose is outstanding. It is the finest Airbnb accommodation we have ever rented. The unit is spacious, beautifully appointed and cared for. The grounds are lovely with gardens, mature trees, vegetables & flowers. The location is peaceful & private yet right around the corner from restaurants, shops and grocers. Werner & Rosemarie live on the property and are ready to assist yet they are not intrusive and don't interfere. We felt as if we had the entire property to ourselves. This is truly a 5 star accommodation!

Everything is perfect, the room is clean and comfortable, the host uncle is also very kind, the town view is beautiful, it feels like paradise, I will visit again in the future when the flowers are blooming in spring!

We were very pleased with our stay. Private lake access is definitely the highlight and invites you to spend relaxing hours by the water. The accommodation itself is well equipped and offers everything you need for a relaxing holiday. The private parking is also a big plus. A small downside was that the apartment heats up a lot on hot summer days. Unfortunately, ventilation at night is only possible to a limited extent, as the accommodation is located directly on the main road and is therefore relatively noisy. But both were absolutely reasonable and bearable for us. We will be happy to come back!

Very nice apartment surrounded directly by mountains and hiking trails. In the small village you can also go out for great food or take the panoramic train to surrounding hiking trails in the mountains.

Wonderful hosts, quiet and peaceful location and very welcoming home!

We felt very comfortable in Renate's place. For us, the private lake access, the nice hostess and the dog friendliness were the best!
