Enjoyed our winter get away! Driveway was clear and there was a big hill of snow the kids loved. Place was the right size for our family of 4. Loved that it was clean and no pet hair (we always take note). Everything was ready and available - split wood, sleds, snowshoes, coffee, etc. Toys and games inside so we didn't need to bring a bunch of things for the kids. Dress for the weather and enjoy some quiet!

The cottage and setting is lovely. It has a cottage feel as opposed to a house-in-the-woods feel: high ceilings, large windows, etc. It's set well into the trees and is quite secluded. It was perfect for our stay -- two adults who enjoy games, reading, and hiking. The kitchen worked well except that it's very cramped for washing dishes. As readers and gamers, we wished for better lighting -- another reading light by a comfy chair (there was one), reading lights by the beds, and light over the table for games. We ended up playing in the kitchen. Overall, a delightful stay in a cozy spot.

Laura was a fabulous host! Responsive, easy to talk to, keen to support and generally, a lovely person to be around. Travelling with a young kiddo and dog isn't always easy but Laura was gracious, easy to approach and offered helpful tips and tours that suited the travel needs of our family. We have allergies that can impact where we travel but Laura was quite communicative regarding how she maintains an allergy friendly space and always willing to offer more information or accommodation if needed. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the cottage and my child has already asked "when can we go back?"

Beautifully situated house, with a great and cozy interior. We enjoyed our stay so much and we cannot wait to be back again! The host Anna makes the communication seamless and very welcoming. Thank you Anna for accommodating us on such short notice.
