Beach house vacation rentals in Cancún

We absolutely LOVED our stay! It was everything we hoped it would be, and more. The home was beautiful inside and out. The decks were gorgeous, and we had so much fun floating by the dock and lounging in the small pool, watching and waving to the boats float by on the channel -ranging from fishing boats to huge catamarans, and even a couple of super yachts! We spent probably 80% of our time out there. We vastly preferred the feel of being a block off the main road in a vibrant neighborhood, and the space of a house over being in the overly touristy North Beach area for our stay. That said, that area was a short, inexpensive cab ride away. We did rent a cart for 24 hours to explore the island on our own and hit our favorite Punta Sur spots. (Recommend picking it up in the late afternoon to maximize your usage) Our hosts were incredibly responsive and helpful! Pretty sure this will be our island home on all future visits!!

Evelyne's accommodation was exactly as described in the listing. My family loved it and it is very well located. It's easy to get to the hotel area by public transport. I highly recommend the accommodation, in addition to feeling at home and the area is very relaxed and above all safe. Evelyn was always attentive. I would definitely come back.

We had an excellent stay and there was plenty of room for our group of 8. The location is great, right in the middle of the island. There are shops and places to grab food/drinks within walking distance. Short (maybe 10 min) golf cart ride to Playa Norte or Punta Sur. We also rented golf carts directly through Raul and had no issues there, super convenient to have them waiting on us when we arrived. Front Door keypad is a little tricky sometimes, but Raul was always responsive and helpful.

Really enjoyed our first visit to Isla. If this is your first - understand this is a small island so internet outages and power outages happen from time to time, as well as a few baby scorpions and geckos inside the house - and many tiny ants... island living! The house was cool and comfortable - we slept great. The south end of the island is pretty quiet. There is a bank ATM just a few steps from the house (35 pesos fee). Also a short walk away, we enjoyed The Joint for music, food and their MUST TRY frozen mojitos! Punta Sur was well worth the 100 pesos/person to check out and walk around the paths. We enjoyed some down time at the pool, coffee on second floor balcony with great views of the Gulf and Cancun in the distance. Management company Capi's dropped off more 5 gal drinking water jugs at our request and were very responsive. Don't pay more than 150 pesos for a taxi to the North side or 100 to the Chedraui grocery - just tell them what you will pay before you get in the car.

If you want privacy in a great location, this is the place! We were met at the ferry terminal a lead the short 5 minute walk to our place. You do not need a gold cart for the week. You can walk everywhere, except Punta Sur. We rented a golf cart for one day to explore the southern part of the island. Waking everyday to a sunrise with coffee and a plunge pool was excellent! We definitely plan to come back!

Private villa, perfect to hang back in a group. Neighbors are very quiet. Pool and beach right at your doorstep, what else could you want!? Quick walk next door to the ferry to Isla Mujeres. Will definitely come back!

Great stay at this place! The location was perfect—close to everything we needed and easy to get around. The space was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. Would definitely stay here again!

Large, modern, quiet 2 bed / 2.5 bath condo. Was perfect for our family of 4. Easy walk to beach (less than 5 minutes), “Bamboo” spa (my wife loved it), and great restaurants (Ilios, Nicoletta, Puerto Madero, Fred’s). Huge chef’s kitchen. Clutch: bottled water from the fridge water dispenser! Pool was being treated during our stay…and there’s another pool in the photos we didn’t see. It would have been nice to at least lie out a bit. We didn’t see the “backyard” that was in the photos - the backyard is a small pool (so it’s very quiet). Know that the beach side is private spaces for the hotels, so while you can go to the beach (it’s gorgeous, you should), there aren’t any chairs you can sit in (it’s for hotel guests). Bring a big blanket and maybe your own umbrella. We used washer/dryer daily. Security is with a private guard who has to let you in/out - never had any issues. Overall, we had an awesome time in Cancun - and the value for this Airbnb is great.

Location was great, close to bus stops and close just about all the good restaurants. We were able to check in early due to having an early flight and able to check out later since we had a later flight which we really appreciated

We just returned from a lovely week on Isla Mujeres. There were 7 of us staying at the villa and we LOVED the outdoor space, beach, and pool area. Actually can’t say enough about how awesome the location, walkable things to do, and on-site staff was. We had massages on the beach which were a 10/10 experience. The beds were comfortable and the A/C fab when needed. Someone else commented about the layout and it is a different floor plan - not a problem at all and offered us all private space as needed to rest or work. We were outside enjoying the grounds or exploring the island 90% of our waking hours. We chartered a private boat, Blue Dreams, and they picked us up on the dock (so much fun!). We would absolutely stay here again.

I can't say enough about this house. some listings have clever photography or descriptions that make them seem lovely, only to be disappointed when one arrives. This house is the opposite while the photographs are lovely, they can't begin to describe the experience. Everything was absolutely perfect and was only made better by the car and help from Monica and Noel.

Lovely beach house on a quiet section of the beach. Amazing views, large comfortable bedrooms. If you’re looking for a spot that is quiet but still within easy reach of the north end of the island, this is a great choice. We really enjoyed our stay.

The house is private with all the amenities you may need. It is located in a great spot and easy to find.

Even more beautiful than the pictures! If you appreciate architecture and traditional Mexican homes, you’ll love this stay. It was perfect for our family and we would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Such a gorgeous and well decorated/designed place! We loved the atmosphere and you can’t beat having a pool and the ocean right outside your bedroom! It’s centrally located and easy to get to Playa Norte or explore the south. Paco was very accommodating and we’d love to return sometime!

I fell in love with the house, I loved the decor and the cleanliness, it is very well located. We didn't want to go, I loved every detail and Mayra was very helpful at all times I already want to return to Isla Mujeres and stay at Casa Cihuatl again.

Our day was in a perfect location for the wedding we were attending. It was a very peaceful area. We enjoyed sitting out on the patio, especially in the evening, looking at the lights across the lagoon.

Great, quiet place to stay. About a minute walk to the beach where there are really tasty restaurants. Host is very kind and always ready to help out. 10/10
