Our family house was previously a village church. It was converted several years ago into a detached dwelling which is now available for you to use exclusively. ‘Bonny Strathyre’ is often nicknamed ‘the gateway to the Highlands’ and is an ideal location for ramblers, cyclists, hill walkers, folk touring Scotland, for those who just want time to relax and to ‘get away from it all’ or maybe just to spend quality time with friends/ family. Our cottage is perfect for families, couples or friends who want a peaceful base to explore glorious Argyll. This is a truly magical place, with incredible sea views, and a large garden that leads straight on to the shore. It's also a great base for exploring the Isle of Bute, the "Secret Argyll Coast", and the Arrochar Alps. After a big day out, you can come back and relax in front of the log burner. Leac Na Sith means "Hearthstone of Tranquility"... it could not be a more appropriate name.

The Bridge House, Unique 2 bedroom home on bridge!

If your looking for something a little different then The Bridge House might be just for you! My unusual 2 bedroom home was built on a bridge spanning the River Ardle in 1881. Charming original features including stone spiral stairs, traditional Scottish timber clad walls, stone/pine flooring and even a privy directly over the river below! Recently renovated. Quiet, peaceful and rural location. Pretty views from every window. Sauna. Category A listed.

Abundant wildlife such as otters, sea eagles and beautiful wild flora can be discovered as well as historic sites such as Gylen castle, all the while surrounded by breathtaking views. The island is easily accessible by the nearby Calmac passenger ferry from Gallanach, near the mainland town of Oban.

A beautiful one-bedroom private traditional stone cottage, The Steading is a self-contained cottage just across the courtyard from our main house. It benefits from a lovely setting amongst the Scottish countryside with glorious views across Loch Fyne, and has many unique features. There is ample private parking directly outside the cottage (spaces for two cars with extra parking if required) and you are free to enjoy the fields and open spaces around you.

Luxury Double Pod

This luxury glamping pod has a double bed, ensuite bathroom and its own kitchenette, whilst also benefitting from unrivalled views on Ben Ledi. Unlike many glamping experiences, our pods come with bed linen, towels and basic kitchen utensils provided, so that you can focus on enjoying your stay. This pod also has underfloor heating and a covered porch allowing you to sit outside and enjoy the view. All guests also have access to free WiFi and parking.

Enjoy Oakdene Cottage and its great views with hosts next door. Dog friendly with nearly an acre of established garden and space to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet of the area whilst being relatively close to Glasgow with good connections and only ~50 minutes from Glasgow Airport. Please bear in mind that there are steps up to up access the cottage from either door: thus, if you have reduced mobility, sadly, Oakdene may not be for you.
