Smoking friendly vacation rentals in California

This is my second time here so obviously I think it's great. It's well-maintained, comfy, and in a beautiful hilly area. The studio is attached to her home but is on its own level and has no door leading to her house. For an attached unit, it feels pretty private. I didn't have a car and that worked out fine because I'm okay with hill climbing. It's about a 12 min walk to a grocery store and some restaurants, 20 min walk to the LA river and the coffee shops along it. Adrien was kind and a wonderful host!

Our stay at Wade’s place was perfect! Wade is an excellent, responsive host who thought of everything when setting up his place. The apartment was extremely clean, functional and well equipped and the backyard was so welcoming and peaceful. The home is also in a nice neighborhood with lots of great restaurants nearby. I would definitely stay here again!

We absolutely loved our stay at Deborah’s guesthouse in Ukiah. There was a large back yard and outdoor patio for us to enjoy the stars at night or a coffee in the morning. We accidentally forgot our dog bed but she fortunately Steph had one provided that our pup fell in love with. The space is great for 2 people and our large dog but may be a tighter fit with more. It’s so thoughtfully decorated and she really provided so many nice touches like extra snacks and a bed warmer! It’s very close to town and a lot of cute restaurants but still feels like it’s in a remote location. It was a great place to get away. I’d absolutely love to stay here again!

This is a very cute cottage feeling upstairs unit, decorated well and with an equipped kitchen! The hosts are very accommodating and even greeted us with a card and a loaf of sourdough bread Wendy baked and teas and treats, So kind! There's pretty ducks in the yard and a view of trees that happened to be covered in snow so we got a beautiful view, equipped with heaters in our rooms, we were very cosy. Thank you! I hope to return again.

Great stay in Santa Monica! The apartment was clean, comfortable, and very well-located — walking distance to the beach, shops, and great restaurants. The place was exactly as described. Quiet neighborhood, easy check-in, and the host was responsive and helpful. The apartment had everything we needed for a short stay — comfy bed, kitchen, and a cozy vibe. Would definitely stay here again next time we’re in Santa Monica!

Lovely studio home nestled in a quiet neighborhood. My fiancé and I stayed here during a long weekend and felt right at home. Everything about the place is cozy and intentional. Home has awesome amenities like a fire pit for s’mores and a soaking tub. The outdoor area/patio was very clean and organized. Host provided detailed recommendations and home guide was easy to follow. I would stay here again 100%.

I had a great time at Gary’s place!! Felt so comfortable and cozy. My favorite was the little patio deck outside with the birds and trees.

My friends and I had a great stay at Alek’s Airbnb. Everything was clean, and we especially enjoyed using the warm pool and amazing outdoor space. Great location and neighborhood! It was also convenient having an EV charger. Communication with Alek was great, and he was very responsive. I’d recommend staying here!

I absolutely loved this place! Everything about it really impressed me, we cooked some nice prime rib eye steaks on the BBQ and enjoyed the fire pit at night and plenty of privacy, the home is a very cool design and had plenty of space and it was spotless! So many accommodations like dishes, towels, beach chairs, basically everything you need. The WIFI worked great and the living room was cozy. I’ll be booking again and the Host Mara was very easy to communicate with! I highly recommend staying here when visiting Fort Bragg it’s really a treat!

First, Justin is an amazing host! Top notch in communication, very friendly and helpful. Justin was accommodating and proactive with both check in and check out. Second, the house is very comfy and inviting. The grounds are beautiful and the minute we walked into the backyard it felt perfect. Serene and peaceful, I spent every hour enjoying the view. We bought firewood in town and had fires going outside and inside. Absolutely the best part of each day. (If weather is chilly bring firewood! So worth it)! This is the second visit to one of Justin's properties and we will seek out his listings each time we revisit the area. I highly recommend this place for those wanting to step away from a busy, hectic life and fall into a quiet and calm existence if only for a few days.

Thank you for such a great week in your beautiful home! Our family of 7 had an amazing time. It was peaceful, relaxing, and close to all the hiking locations. We would love to come back if we’re in the area again!

Overall it was a great stay. The unit was nice and clean, the bed was fairly soft, but comfortable. The bathroom and shower were very nice (give the hot water some time to get there -- it's a bit slow but works fine). I liked the location a lot, as it was just a block or two outside of the really noisy Gaslamp area, but still felt fairly safe and clean on the street. The unit feels very secure behind two security doors. It was fairly quiet at night and easy to sleep. And George was always responsive and helpful. Definitely recommended.

It was a great stay, upon arrival make sure you get in touch with Tyler because some of the details provided for how to check in aren’t current. For example the gate code has changed but it was quick fix and Tyler was there to help and answer questions fast! There is a space heater which helped a lot without having ac/heat. The balcony smoking area is nice and calming there are lots of stairs so be prepared for a walk. All in all Tyler was a wonderful host with a clean, safe unit I will definitely be staying here again if I return in the future 🙌🏾🙌🏾!

Enjoyed staying in an updated, uncluttered space that felt like home. The outdoor patio was a real asset with a fire table, whirlpool hot tub, outdoor grill and refrigerator and sitting area. The gated entrance really made it feel like a private getaway. Elizabeth was very responsive to any inquiries and was interested to know if everything was to my liking. Would book again.

The condo was beautifully appointed, clean and spacious . The common areas (lawns, pool etc) were impeccably maintained. The views of the sunsets over the mountains each evening were breathtaking. The attention and consideration from our hosts Allison and Charlie was above par (no pun intended) and they are by far the best hosts we have had the pleasure of staying with. Five stars , highly recommend

I was in town for a wedding and had a great experience at Anna’s place. The listing looked exactly as it did in the photos, check in was easy, and getting into town was a breeze. Would definitely recommend to anyone coming to Paso Robles for a weekend. We didn’t even get to utilize all the features in the space because of the wedding agenda, but it was great to know they were there.

Michael was very accommodating. Supplied extra items for us. Would stay with him again if I’m ever back in the area😊

Absolutely beautiful, quiet little neighborhood not far from town. Lots of stuff to do, very friendly host. No complaints. Loved our stay there!
