The Regio-Tram [regional tram] runs directly to the city center of Kassel in 20 minutes. The Regional Express runs directly to Wilhelmshöhe train station in 11 minutes. The train station is about 600 m away. The apartment is in the basement of the house and has a bedroom, a living room with sofa bed as well as kitchen and bathroom. There is also a private terrace.

In the immediate vicinity is an Icelandic horse farm and the restaurant Bergcafé Friedrichstein. Within walking distance you can reach the glider airfield (one of the oldest glider areas in Germany), the Wichtelkirche and the Helfensteine. The area is very popular for its hiking trails (e.g. Habichtswaldsteig) and its juniper vegetation along the lime grasslands.
